Apex Flooring refinished hardwood floors in my living room, dining room, and hallway. I was certain they were too bad to be refinished but Mike came in and told me he could do it, it would look great, and it was unbelievably priced. I have already recommended Mike to two other friends and am more happy than you could imagine. Mike was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Mike understood what we were looking for and delivered flawlessly. If you are thinking about refinishing floors for any reason, whether you want a new color or they are old, damaged floors, think no further, Mike is the right man for the job.

Remodeling our 3,000 sq ft house - needed some install and lots of finishing... From the start it was clear Apex knew the trade better than any of the other 5 contractors asked to bid (Mike knew our existing wood type & size right away but nobody else did). Apex also had the best price and was easy to work with, so hiring Apex was a no brainer. On the day the job was done, my wife was blown over. The finished floors on the 1st level looked so great we hired Apex for the upstairs that same day. That job is also done and just a seamless, perfect match throughout. Couldn't be happier with the overall experience! Highly recommend Apex!!

From the start, Mike was a pleasure to deal with. He immediately returned my inquiry phonecall and scheduled a time to give me an estimate. He was ontime - still in his work clothes - and gave me an excellent quote on the spot. We scheduled the work to be done at that time, and he called to confirm the day prior to our arranged start! Apex provided me with the perfect combination of technical expertise, professionalism, and reasonable pricing. My hardwood floors had been very poorly resanded and refinished by a non-ServiceMagic "professional," leaving me with very unevenly sanded and wrinkled-looking floors/stairs! Mike re-sanded and re-finished themand now they look like they should! Mike did an outstanding job on our hardwood floors. The floors in my parent���s 1,200 SF 1940s Cape Cod home came out like they were brand new with the natural finish. Mike gave us a quote the same day as the free estimate and that was the final cost ��� no hidden fees. He worked with my mom on making some recommendations in different areas of the floors. He was meticulous in making sure everything was kept neat, in addition to producing a well-crafted end product. Because I work, he worked independently with a key each day and communicated to me by phone and email on the status of the job. He refinished and stained the hall, dining, living and back room. You can���t beat the price, quality and professionalism. We will use Mike to do our floors in the future for sure!

We recently took out a wall between our family and living rooms - one finished hardwood floor, the other wall-to-wall carpet. We brought in Apex (Mike) to remove the carpet and refinish the floor to match the 35-year old existing floor. We also had him remove carpet and refinish the floors in our dining room. The job cost MUCH less than other contractor's quotes and was done professionally, timely, friendly, and with consideration for our pets. He was able to perfectly match the new floor with the old, and the two rooms now flow seamlessly. We are absolutely THRILLED with the results and HIGHLY recommend Apex/Mike for craftsmanship and value.

We had our upstairs floors refinished by Apex recently, and we are amazed by the results! Our floors look far better than we ever imagined they could. They are 60+ years old, but now look like brand new. Mike is wonderful. He is extremely professional. He is prompt, keeps the area very clean, and keeps to the schedule he promises.
