Description of Work: The project that I had contacted Martin Excavating to look at is on hold while we research some more property information. That being said all of the communication was prompt and professional. When they did come to the work site to look at the spectrum of work that needed to be done they were |quick and timely. I hope as we get closer to determining the full nature of the pending work that I can work a deal with this outfit.

Description of Work: Removed footings from old mobile home site, (and a lot of bushes/trees that had taken root there), removed part of an overgrown and sliding bank of soil, and smoothed out all areas. Very professional, pleasant, punctual, and responsive.

Description of Work: Joel Martin brought a mini-excavator, dug up a 500-gallon tank in our bank yard, and removed several shrub stumps, including a monstrous 10-trunk laurel. He was careful, efficient, speedy, very nice to us and our two fascinated young sons, and all around did a great job.

 + -1 moreHe was quick to respond, met with me regularly to check on how I wanted the grading done and sidewalk poured, and fixed any minor issues I had like a piece of rebar that was left sticking out. The final price was about $200 higher than the quote, due in part to bringing in slightly more topsoil and lots of rebar in the cement. Overall, very timely and great job.
Description of Work: Joel responded quickly to my call and we made an appointment within a week to give a quote on removing 2 concrete pads, bringing in topsoil, grading, and pouring a small sidewalk. His quote was marginally lower than several others and he performed the work within a week from the quote - starting several days later and finishing the concrete pour and frame removal 2 days later.

 + 1 moreVery prompt and courteous. Did extra leg work going down to City Hall before he was awarded the bid, to be sure work was necessary and bid appropriately. Answered all questions. Price was good (others declined to bid knowing the price I had been given by Joel). Available schedule, good price, very prompt, courteous, professional and did an excellent job cleaning up. Very kind to plants, etc.
Description of Work: Replace an existing (failed) sewer line from my house to the municipal sewer main at the street.
