We first began shopping for windows and contacted numerous companies requesting quotes on replacing all of our windows. Many of the companies came in at the same price as Harley, but their products were not even close to the quality that Harley provides. The salesperson showed up and spent some time explaining the benefits we would get in replacing our windows, showed us some articles showing the amount of money we would save on our energy bills if we replaced our windows, and showed us the difference between different windows with a heat lamp (some of them became very hot!!). We chose the highest quality window they offer, which includes a 10-year transferable warranty and are expected to last much longer than that. It was a great experience for us and we greatly appreciated the time he spent explaining everything to us and working with us to find a way to afford replacing our windows. After we agreed to purchase the windows through Harley, our order was placed quickly and the installation date came very shortly after. They installed the windows over a weekend we were away and did an awesome job. There are no issues with the windows and they look great. We definitely would purchase through them again and recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking to purchase new windows!

The idea of replacing our aluminum framed windows came through contact at a home improvement expo in Tacoma and 6 months later (because we needed to buy a house first) we were able to make a deal with Harley that benefits us both. Harley reps take such care of their customers it almost seemed to too good to be true when visited by their sales rep at our home. So I went and researched over several weeks in different sources what this company was all about. I did find that at one point there was trouble in connecting sales pitches with the final product but believe me in our experience from March 2012 thru November 2012 I have nothing but high regard of their integrity and attention to detail throughout the process. The credit union, Salal CU, offers great financing with no pre-payment penalties. The Harley window warranty is surely second to none. To highlight a few features double warranty (warranty carries to the follow-on owner with endless ownership of the window purchaser), free labor for replacements, even if the property is converted to a rental property the warranty holds for 10 years. The Harley installers arrived a little later than they anticipated but put took after the task with a tenacious heart throughout the day to finish prior to a house party we had planned. They immediately began setting up drop clothes and pulling out windows. They noticed an existing alarm system and immediately called my attention to it so it could be addressed appropriately. Each window had breathable vapor barrier material at each opening. In building science the vapor barrier is very important to the overall performance of the building and should be integral with the window construction. I noticed the barrier was being pulled out a little far and made remark as such. The team immediately made efforts to be more ginger with the vapor barrier. The only reason I didn't give a 'B' to the price category is the quality of these windows significantly exceed the margin of cost compared to the available products of the box stores (and their warranty, look closely...).

We have just one word?WOW! And it is worth repeating?WOW, WOW, WOW, and WOW! We could not be happier about our entire experience with your company! Our new windows are fabulous! Not only do they look beautiful, but they are amazing quality! We even visited the manufacturer?s factory where it was confirmed that your product is top of the line and exclusive to your company. These windows are well built, easy to operate, and have great functionality features for cleaning, night locking, etc. In addition, it is warm in our house! We had spent the entire last winter always grabbing for blankets when we would watch TV because of the draft from our old aluminum frame and single pane windows. We have 22 windows in our home and we just got our latest utility bill?it had gone down over $300.00! The energy savings alone has completely offset the payments on our new windows! Our new windows have helped our home retain its classic charming 1950?s look, but with all the bells and whistles of today?s energy efficiency standards. Your office staff is helpful and caring. We love Katie! And your install team did an absolutely amazing job. They paid close attention to detail and did it right. Our house had some crazy things (like our old window in the bathroom had been installed from the inside and tiled in). The only way they could get it out was to break some of the edges of the shower tile, but guess what?!?! We brought the guys our few extra tiles and grout and they re-did the tile around the window sill for us and it looks fantastic! They truly went the extra mile! All in all, from the first night we decided to sign the sales contract to the completion of the job, we have not had a single moment that we regretted our decision to upgrade our windows using your company. The salesperson was VERY informative and made it easy to choose the windows that I needed.The quality of the new windows is very high and I'm enjoying a warmer house and a smaller energy bill. They also look really nice from the inside and the outside. The white window frames add a fresh trimmed look to the house. The vinyl frames don't sweat and they are easy to clean.

They are amazing.We had Euro Vinyl windows installed, if you are asking yourself if the money is worth it, totally do it. The have a lifetime transferable warranty on the glass/Window and Screens to say just a little. The windows are amazing, the reduction in outside noise, has already been incredible. The Windows have so many awesome features, you really need to see them to believe them. I was telling all the neighbors even during the install, had a few into the house to look.We have had ?another company? install windows in a different house, and the whole experience was just awful, the product did nothing the sales person said it would, and they would never even come replace a screen that came bent. Integrity is very important in business these days. If you say you are going to do, then do, and HARLEY EXTERIORS does and did and I am positive will, if we need anything else. I hope beyond hope, that the people we find to redo our lower level fix from the ?flood? are half as great as HARLEY EXTERIORS have been, then we are all set.You are all FABULOUS, and deserve a big THANK YOU. The contractors were there on time. They were very respectful of our things. They covered everything. The window installation was done in one day and they cleaned up everything after they were finished. You would not even have know that they were there, except for the new windows.

We had a sales representative come to the house at the end of June and he gave us a quote on complete window replacement. We negotiated a price and they called when the windows were ready. We arranged for an installation date and the windows were replaced in less than 2 days. We are very happy with the replacement windows and expect to save on heating costs.

We were unhappy with the original, failing aluminum pane windows in our 1970's home and needed to stay warmer in the winter. So we shopped around, gathering quotes, and went with Harley Exteriors who'd also replaced my parents' windows a year prior. The salesperson, Todd Pickering, was friendly, thorough, and professional spending ample time with the information we needed and applying the discount we wanted. Work started promptly and with workmen who'd been with the company since inception. It took the two guys a full day day to replace 6 windows and one large patio slider in our house. The quality of the windows is phenomenal and the screen door is replaceable at no cost if either of my kids blow through it. The front floor-to-ceiling bay windows will have to wait for another year to be replaced, but we have a 2 yr. Buyer Protection Plan from Harley allowing us to carryover our discount from the first set of windows. Harley also gave us a Lifetime Plus Warranty meaning the windows have a lifetime manufacturer's warranty while we live in the house plus ten years warranty to any future owner. It's been almost a year since we installed the windows and we couldn't be happier with the quality. The savings on heating have been worth what we paid for the windows. Windows are easy to clean inside and outside - even the tracks they slide on - because the sliding portion of the window can be completely removed for thorough cleaning and easily locked back into place. The workmen who installed showed us how to manipulate the windows for cleaning, etc and took time to answer all of our questions. Harley Exteriors cares about their company, quality of the job done, and lasting impression.

I had some old windows from the early 1980's and my heating bills were getting atrocious. I needed to do something. It happened that canvasers were in my neighborhood one day I was thinking of having my windows done and I took their flyer and arranged for Harley Exteriors to come out. The salesperson was obviously new but capable of showing the product to me. The sales call was okay and the first price given to me was much more than expected. With a little song and dance, he lowered the price to one more manageable. I suspect the price could have been lowered still but the price given was in the range I expected. I chose Haley because of their openness and willingness to work with me. I also liked their warranty and product. Within days of the sales call, I was contacted for more accurate measurements. They came out and made all the measurements from outside. He told me they would contact me in a couple weeks for installation. Within 2 weeks, I was contacted and scheduled installation about 2 more weeks out. The initial timeframe estimate was 4-6 weeks and overall, it was very close to the 4 week window. On the day of installation, two workers came out to do the install. They had good work ethic and seemed to know what they were doing. One removed the old window and cleaned the surfaces, the other installed the new window. Both worked on the sliding glass doors. Once all were installed, they spent an hour or so caulking all the windows. They completed the project in a day, though they initially estimated 1-1/2 days. I am happy with the results and hope I will be even happier this winter with my heating bills. I will know more then!

Over all it went very well. The original Salesperson came to our home and explained the various applications available and we selected the one we both felt met our needs. There was a reduction available at the time so we signed up that day. The second step was their man came out and carefully measured each Window so they could forward the specs to the Manufacturer. There was about a three week period from July 17th to August 7th to when the installation occurred. As I described above it all went very smoothly and they were finished in the eight hours they were there. They cleaned up and took away every scrap of debris from the job and left everything perfect. We are very happy with the whole project. and showed our neighbors the finished product and they were also impressed with how finished it all looked. We would be glad to recommend Harley Exteriors to anyone thinking about having new windows installed.

Harley Exteriors is the reason we joined Angie's List, to avoid experiences such as the one we had with this company. First, the bay window was installed and the salesman had not measured correctly so the much smaller window cut off our view of the Olympics. We were not able to contact our salesman as we were told he was let go because of a history of writing up orders incorrectly. The owner of the company came out and tried to sell us the installed window at a discount but we wanted the window that showed our view. He would not make it right. The best we could do was to get him to split the cost of the new window with us. Despite our salesman assuring us the company never used subcontractors to install, our installers told us they were indeed subcontractors. The salesman had written up the order wrong on replacing our slider and it was installed to open up on the right side (in the corner) instead of the left side in the traffic area. The company came back out and installed it to open correctly but then there was a gap below the slider several inches high and 10" long that let in light, bugs, and cold air. We finally corrected that ourselves. After the window installation, we noticed we were not comfortable sitting near the windows as they were so cold. When we had an energy audit, it was revealed that there was not insulation put around the windows so we've had cold air pouring in. Yet, when we called the company about this, they argued with us. I have recently discovered one window that is leaking and am expecting some wall damage from the water and will contact them yet again. I am sorry I ever heard of this company.

They were prompt, polite and their installer was very neat and careful. the windows have some nice features in terms of easy cleaning and security. The windows are apparently made to order so there was lead time before installation (about 6 weeks in my case) but that was fine for me as I did not have a deadline. Surprisingly (to me) Harley was the only one of three companies (whose sales people came to the house) to give us a bid of any sort, two companies said they'd email a bid and never did. Harley's salesman also gave us advice which helped us solve a problem with another window (which had broken hardware but did not need to be replaced.) The other sales people would not even give and opinion on our problem window. We are very happy with Harley's services.

Overall it was great. I got very thourgh presentation and estimate and within a few weeks windows were ready to install. The installers came on time and worked until the job was done. When they didn't have the exact floor transition for the new door, the lead installer left and brought back the right part. The installers cleaned up after they left and I've had no problems with the windows or sliders. I would use Harley exteriors again.

I got my quote in two days and project was completed two weeks later as promised. Installers were on time and in spite of heavy rain the job was completed with no mess and minimal disruption to household.

We started shopping for new windows almost as soon as we moved into our home, 18 months ago. We attended home shows and had various window companies come in for their sales pitch. Some were good... some were not so good. The original sales person we had for Harley Exteriors was not so good. But my husband really liked the quality of the windows. So when they called us back to ask for another appt, we agreed. Todd was the person they sent this time and boy, what a difference! He was laid back and explained that they really wanted our business. Todd overcame our objections and made the deal too good to pass up. So we signed on the dotted line. Communication up to the install was consistent and professional. Fast forward to the install date. I was out of town, so my husband handled the install. And let me tell you... he was really impressed with the install team (and impressing him is not an easy task). The install took two days; the guys were here ~10 hours each day. And they worked every bit of that ~10 hours a day. The windows fit perfectly and went in fairly easy. There was one bump-in-the-road that Christian (sp?) fixed for us. We were told during both sales pitches and when they came out to measure that the trim would not have to be removed. Our home is >25 years old and it has cedar siding/trim. Apparently cedar gets brittle over time. The install team advised my husband that they would likely destroy the trim when installing the windows. Needless to say... we were not happy. However, Christian made it right by offering to replace all the trim at a nominal fee. We agreed and couldn't be happier. My recommendation to the company is to communicate this to potential clients prior to the install. The contract mentions extra costs for dry rot or unforseen issues; in our opinion, the trim fell into neither category. The trim looked good - it was just old. Since it was handled professionally and the issue remedied, I did not "ding" Harley Exteriors for it. Back to the windows. When I arrived home later that week, I was amazed at how great all of them looked! We had brown aluminum-frame windows before and the new white vinyl really made the window boxes, and entire house brighter. What a difference!!! The profile of the windows outside made our neighbors come in for a closer look. All of them have said how great our home looks with these new windows. And one of the best things about these new windows is heat/cold staying in/out of our home. Our furnace used to run non-stop; creating high electric bills. Now that we have these new windows, we are pleasantly surprised to hear the furnace running only a few times a day. We cannot wait to see how our electric bill is affected in the winter. Overall we had an amazing experience with Harley Exteriors. We will definitely recommend them to everyone we know. And we are a military family, so we know a LOT of people. :-) Thank you to all the folks we have dealt with at Harley Exteriors. We are so glad we chose you for our project.

Go with someone else. These guys aren't worth your time to even bring out.

They were excellent. They came when they said that they would. The windows have not failed. They have a lifetime guarantee wherein I could get a new one if I lose anything. They were very good. The two people that installed did it all in one day. They were extremely tidy. They cleaned the windows inside and out. They also vacuumed up everything. I even had a couple of window sills that needed some attention. I had some extra material. They went ahead and replaced the window sills without any extra charge with the material that I had. They were very conscientious. They vacuumed the floors under the adjoining of the windows before they left. They also washed the windows inside and out which was very nice. I had seen them at the Home Show down in Seattle and they had a whole bunch of window people there. They came in and did a demo with the heat lamps where I could see the heat coming through the windows. They were Low-E glass windows. I did not get bids but talked to all of the window companies there and they all seemed like Sharks except for this company. They were a family owned company and their installers were their own employees. They did not just sell windows and have somebody else install it which was what more or less guided me. I tried to have somebody else come out but they failed to show up. I was not sorry. They came out and measured when they said that they would. The windows came in faster than they said that they would. I had thirteen windows done and they were all very expensive. One of them in the living room was a great big window. I had a whole wall of glass running and it would say that it has definitely made a difference with the heat in the summer time.

We had spoken with the company at the home and garden show last winter. Todd, the salesperson, came to our home around the middle of June. His presentation was one of the best I have ever seen. It was complete and concise. It described the product, how it compared to others, the installation process, recommendations, scientific data regarding temperature control and tons of pictures. We were sold! Credit options were available and we signed on the dotted line. Todd worked with us to change the configuration of a few windows that were awkward. And we redesigned the front door and the surrounding windows. We also decided to replace a window with a sliding door to allow backyard access. To say we were pleased with his suggestions would be an understatement. Then the measurements were done by another person. Because of several questions, he made an additional trip to verify the configurations and measurements. I appreciated this attention to detail as I don't like surprises during installations. We had to wait about 4 weeks for the windows and door to be manufactured. These are all custom made, not from the shelves of a warehouse. Waiting was the most difficult part. Finally, the day came when installation began. Because of the number and size of the windows, it was estimated it would take 2 or 3 days to complete. It actually stretched to 4, but when the finished project looks as good as this does, an extra day was well worth it! The windows and doors were installed with virtually no mess. Only a couple of places needed to be touched up with paint. They cleaned up after themselves and the windows sparkled! The installers were happy to answer any questions and were very personable. I would recommend this company to anyone needing to replace their windows.

The work was ok. They used sub contractors to get most of the work done. They were very expensive. I felt like the sales people took advantage of me. Their prices were way to high.

A sales person came to our home to give us an estimate. It took 4 hours. During that time the salesman assured us that Harley Exteriors uses their own installers. The windows looked like they were high quality and the price was right so we signed up. The next day my husband found out that Harley does not use their own installers. I found out that a complaint was filed against at the Attorney General's office for their dishonesty in their sales pitches. you can find it by searching for Harley Exteriors on the AG web site. We of course cancelled the project because we were concerned about their dishonesty.

I am very pleased with their service.

The project never got started because of the less than reasonable treatment I received pre-sales.

We did not meet with this company one on one.

Totally pushy, unprofessional. It was almost farcical, how out of the - used car salesman play book - the representative was.
