Description of Work: Replaced my dead water heater and moved the new one to a better location. This move required new gas and exhaust piping, which accounts for the higher than usual price. I don't really know if this was a good deal or not, but the water heater is great. | |One thing I didn't realize and wasn't warned about. My water bill quadrupled for the period in which this work was done. I waited to review till the next bill, which is back in line with my usual usage, to be sure this wasn't due to leaks. Apparently flushing and filling water heaters takes a LOT of water.

Description of Work: The people on the phone were great, they explained everything in detail and helped me find the right size etc. (though we have deep tubs, I'm still thinking we should have gone one size bigger) The installer was supposed to call around an hour before arriving but we never got a call, he just showed so we were half asleep in bathrobes. Although I was expecting additional costs, they were still pretty steep at $500 (I bought a deal through AL and paid $899 for the water heater + install)

Description of Work: The water heater was installed out of plumb and a mess was left behind including standing water and oil on the floor.

Description of Work: They replaced a leaking hot water heater. They were quick and easy to work with. They came out the same day to give a bid and scheduled the install for the following day. The install went smoothly. I plan to have them back out soon to replace my other hot water heater.

Description of Work: Technician was able to install new water heater without problems. However he had to slide my dryer back into place beside the water heater and decided to kick the dryer in order to move it backwards - leaving a dent in the front face of the dryer from kicking.

Description of Work: I have them installed an Ethernal tankless water heater. The unit failed within 1 year of service. After diagnostic, it was determined that the exhaust bushing was not the correct size. The manufacturer said it was the installer's fault, the installer said they followed the manufacturer initial training and then the manufacturer changed those steps later without letting them know. Neither side take full responsibility and the customer ended up paying the repair cost, for an expensive unit that supposed to be in full warranty. We just had a baby at the time so I didn't want to take on more stress than I already have and just paid them, but I wouldn't use the Ethernal brand or the installer again.

Description of Work: They were quick to respond to my call, very fast to come and replace my water heater. They sent the best installer. I'm completely satisfied.

Description of Work: Technicians arrived in their window of time,and were pleasant enough. The apprentice did the majority of the work, broke the valve on the water intake hose, used plumbers putty to stick it back together. I noticed the leak 2-3 days later. Called Fast Water Heater, and they said they would have a technician there the following day, so every 2-3 hours I used the shop vac to vacuum up the water, so the neighbors would not be effected. |Nothing "Fast" about this company.

Description of Work: Awesome...Prompt and really knew what he was doing...I've never been happier to spend money on household items before...the hot water tank works wonderful...I will most definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: I bought a new gas water heater from Home Depot and they referred me to Fast for installation. When I called them they quoted me a total of around $1200. When they guy got out to my house, he had brought a water heater with a huge dent in it, right up by the top seam. I refused that one and had to wait a couple hours while they "found" another one. The installation went fine after that, but when it came to the bill, they charged me over $1900. He explained that I had to have the duct work changed (a couple little ducts) and some kind of plastic tank on the side, and this and that. Why wasn't this all explained when I called them out? I read some of the other reviews on here, and the $700 add on charge seems to be what you get with them. Call someone else! Get a firm estimate up front.
