The original installation by Josh was done professionally. He left the work area clean. Less than a month later I had Josh come back out as I had major hot water problems. As it turned out neither problem had anything to do with the installation done in October. One problem was due to a water leak from a floor above that got into the water heater electric connection. The other was due to incompetent plumbers who were hired to install a main shutoff valve. Josh was persistent, fixed both problems and charged only a standard service call. Extremely happy with the services provided.

Spoke to Jake over the phone who was super helpful in providing water heater replacement options and scheduling a next day appointment (this was not an emergency install). Brandon arrived on time and called 30 minutes prior to let me know he was on the way over. He carefully assessed the vent pipe corrosion situation, diagnosed the problem and explained how to solve it. He completed the job in a couple hours and left the area spotless. The overall price was very competitive to three other bids I received. I was very impressed with Brandon's masterful workmanship. He is a true professional. Very well. The initial consultation on the phone helped me to select the correct water heater -- initially, I preferred a "green" water heater with electric ignition, but changed my mind when I was informed that it would not heat water during a power outage. The phone consultant gave me a good idea of what the possible charges would be, and informed me that the estimate would be finalized once the installers were on site and could review the situation. At that point, I could accept or reject their bid, and send them on their way if I chose. I requested the agreed water tank, a drip pan, and a mixing valve. I was able to schedule installation for the next day, a Sunday. Chris arrived with a helper, and reviewed the itemized charges with me, answering my questions. I had been warned that an expansion tank might be required, and approved its installation. Chris also recommended installing a grounding "bond" wire between the gas lines, which I also approved. He suggested re-working the exhaust vents, but I saw no reason for that, so it was not included in the installation. They did insist on a building permit, at a cost of $62. I don't know whether this was truly necessary, but it seems that Fast Water Heater wants to play by the rules. I approved it, and I have scheduled the inspection. At least, it will be reassuring to know that the installation was done properly. I approved the installation plan and charges, and it was completed in about two hours. I was glad to be able to watch the installation, and have my questions answered. Altogether, a pleasant experience and a disaster averted (my old water heater had begun leaking).

The only thing I don't like about them is that they could of quoted me the price for a 6 year water heater. Cause my wife was home they didn't and it ended up costing us $400 more, because if they would of gave my wife the option cause a 6 year water heater has the same exact parts as a ten water heater by the insurance charge you more. So long story short, what the do when your a tight situation, is they give you the 10 year and they don't give you the scoop on a 6 year. It was inspected by the city. The quality of work was excellent. They did everything up to code. So far as quality, everything was good. They were really fast. They was out within 2 hours. So its just not the cheapest service you could get.

Well-named company - they were indeed fast. We awoke to find the water heater leaking. After reading reviews here, I called them just after 8 am and they made an appointment for between 12 and 2 pm that day. They kept to that schedule, installed the heater as well as a new expansion tank, and everything went smoothly. The estimate they gave on the phone for cost was accurate. The person on the phone was friendly and helpful, as was the installer. All in all, they did a great job, promptly and reliably.

fast service like the name implies. Make sure you ask for this 6-year warranty model it will save you 3 or $400 from the 10-year warranty that they installed for us. just trying to save customers little money for an emergency unplanned expense.

They were punctual but the only thing is there was, I don't if this company they have their own franchise parental separated from the one in Seattle because there was one time that they were offering one of the guys had advertised wanting to show and they were talking about tank less water heater so I kind of asked them if they do that up in my area and they said that their are not offering that because that's only in Seattle so that's kind of turns me off but because I need a new water heater at that time and they were the one available so I went ahead and let them do it. It's kind of pricey.

Great experience. I called at 9am about having my water heater replaced and was told that they could replace it today and was given a window of 12-3pm. Frank actually called me by 11:30am and was on his way over. By 2pm we had the new water heater installed. My first experience with Fisher was excellent and will definitely call them again in the future if needed.

This company was referred to me as a plumber that would replace a recall part, which....WAS A RECALL, and the company issuing the recall was to pay for the repairs. Upon attempting to make my service appointment I was asked for a Credit Card number, even though the only repair being provided was the recall service. Needless to say, I refused to give my credit card information as I wasn't responsible for the service/repair THE COMPANY WAS MAKING THE VOLUNTARY RECALL WAS PAYING, NOT ME. They refused to make the appointment without the credit card, which seemed shady to me. I contacted the company responsible for the recall, they were also shocked and called Fast Water Heater Company who did not give them a definitive reason for asking for my card info. This would have been easy $$ for Fast Water Heater Company, yet their shady ways cause me and the water heater company to go elsewhere for service. Be aware, they may have other schemes up their sleeves.

The installer was very knowledgeable and professional. The work went quick and was done on time and on cost estimate. Passed inspection with no problem.

They did a great job doing what I paid for through Angie's List, everything was done professionally. After making the appointment, he said there may be charges that the county will send you. I was okay with that, and then he said that it would cost more depending on what was going on with the water heater. When he got here, he took a look at it, and said it will cost another $800 to fix that. We were already committed, and it is like what will you do. He was already here and we had already bought it, and had I known, I would have shopped around, and gotten a contractor to give me an estimate so we would have a heads up. We felt like he should have given us an estimate before we committed to it. I learned a lesson. The work was great. The deal would have been great, and I feel it was kind of deceiving.

Brandon asked excellent questions and determined that there was likely not a need to replace my water heater as it was still relatively new and the source of the leak was likely a defective valve instead of a failed water heater. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done to be up to code and to resolve my situation. After he explained my various options, I decided to repair my water heater instead of replace it. I love the fact that he spent the time to explain how a water heater works and gave me detailed options. He could have just replaced the water heater as I had requested. Instead, he repaired it saving me more than I paid (replacement would have been around $1600; the repair cost $805.) They left the area (considerably) cleaner than they found it they cleaned behind my washer and dryer in addition to the area around the water heater - areas not easily reachable. Thank you!! I have seen the Fast Water Heater trucks in my area for years. I AM NOW A LOYAL CUSTOMER. They are the only company I will use for water heater issues. Plus, I am now a walking, talking advertisement for them! Nicely done!!! THANK YOU for the EXCELLENT customer service.

It went poorly. They wired it in incorrectly and we've been trying to get it fixed ever since. The state inspector is actually trying to get them to fix it and its still not fixed.

Technician Mitch was so polite and efficient; I could not have asked for an easier transaction.

After our tankless heater was installed, we failed inspection, only to have it completely fail a week later. I had to call again and again to get on the schedule for the inspection repairs, then to get hot water when it failed. I have never gotten "the runaround" from a company like this before... Disappointed is an understatement, especially considering we actually paid more for this company from another bid we received, because we believed in their positive reviews, and really liked the installer Chris. After the installation, there was a small drip, and it wasn't to code with the exterior pipes (seemed very minor). I called after failing inspection, only to be put off for 3 days by a gal named Sophea, because she had to check my bid. (I was really unclear what my bid had to do with their failed inspection -- if you failed to install this properly and there's a small leak, shouldn't you be coming out to fix this right away?). After calling numerous times to get on the schedule, I was finally scheduled for a Monday morning, I received a call Sunday evening that the installer was sick, and I'd be rescheduled for Thursday. Sunday evening the water heater failed and we had no hot water. I called first thing Monday morning, only to be put on hold multiple times, leave voice mails and get the run around (keep in mind the only time I managed to get on the schedule was when I spoke to a manager Jeanie). When I say put on hold, I'm talking about 10+ minute hold times each time, only to be told they'll call me back right away. When I don't hear anything 2 hours later, I call again. I don't have hot water. Yes, this is a problem. Just got off the phone with the scheduler (after being on hold twice, a conversation that took 26 minutes between hold times for the third time this morning), that Chris is coming to our home today to look at the leak, and then will be back out Thursday for inspection repairs. Really? He's coming to look at our water heater, even though he's called in sick (my guess is he was fine, and just had to do other jobs).. I'm not sure about the quality about the installation, I do know that we received a failed inspection and had a very minor leak that should've been repaired pretty easily, but the amount of phone calls I had to make to get this resolved has been astounding. I don't know whether this company has grown too quickly, doesn't have the man power to answer calls and get people out for repairs -- but I felt it was time they get more accurate reviews on Angieslist -- had I known any of this, I would've never went with them. To be continued... UPDATE: Chris, our installer, came by today to fix the heater. He did a great job (he was the sole reason we went ahead and booked Fast Water Heater to begin with), he did realize there was an error, and assured me that they'll do whatever necessary to fix it if this comes up again. My biggest concern is getting someone to answer our calls.... Chris, the installer, has always been on time and professional.

They were prompt and courteous and their price for the installed cost was the best at the time.

Excellent work done. Called the night before to let us know a window of time they would be showing up. Showed up on time and the installer was courteous and professional. Gave us tips on taking care of the new gas water heater.

They were easy to schedule. They came, installed the new water heater, cleaned up their work site, and left. Fast and easy. I would definitely work with this provider again.

My experience with them was fine. It was good. There was an additional fee to the $949 Big Deal. The total cost was $2,280 because the quoted price on the Big Deal did not suit my home. So, I had to pay a whole bunch more. The company is fine. They installed my last water heater, just the fact that my water heater did not meet the requirements of the water heater that was advertised. The cost was very expensive. The quality of the service was great. He was good.

Overall my experience with Fast Water Heater Company was very excellent. I found that they quoted me a lower price when I called them to purchase the same water heater through Home Depot compared to when I called to purchase through them directly. They honored this price difference and gave me the Home Depot price as well as the ability to use the Angie's List coupon I purchased. I was made aware of the fact that we would most likely end up paying a little bit more for the installation than initially quoted due to a required expansion tank and the need to update some of our pipes and connections to meet code. The technicians showed up on time, explained what they were going to do, and completed the work within two hours. Our new hot water has been working great since it was installed almost three weeks ago. I would definitely recommend Fast Water Heater Company and will use them again in the future.

I called them Wednesday, 12/23, to discuss possibly repairing or replacing our dying 13 year old electric water heater. The sales rep on the phone seemed relatively knowledgeable, asked for a few pictures, and said he would get back to me the next day, possibly with installation by Monday. He didn't return the call, but I was able to call and reach him. He told me he would get back to me later that afternoon, but, once again, didn't. I didn't try calling the day after, since 12/25 is a holiday, but tried again the day after, and was unable to reach the sales rep - he was out sick. I tried restarting the process with another rep, but was having trouble finding anybody knowledgeable about heat pumps. After bouncing around their phone system (I might add, very poorly designed) for a while, I finally gave up and started looking at other installers. Unfortunately, nobody could match the price Fast water heater was advertising, so I kept trying them. I eventually was able to reach my original sales rep again, and he apologized for the inconvenience and was willing to get me started again, but then did a last check and said that we couldn't install in the space pictured because it was too close to a cabinet. Eventually after a few days of haggling and once I figured out how to move the cabinet, he scheduled me for installation, but several days after they originally predicted. The installation went well, and the contractors seemed to be knowledgeable. However, I was a bit surprised when I saw the bill - it was several hundred dollars more than the amount that the sales rep had estimated. Unfortunately, I hadn't thought to actually request a written quote, so I couldn't prove that the price was much higher. This still was the cheapest of the bids I got for this project, but it wasn't nearly as clear cut as I had thought it would be. They did quality work, so I would use them again.

Fast Water Heater Company was amazing. We were able to talk to someone right away after our water heater busted on New Year's Day. They immediately suggested I purchase one of the deals on their website to save me money and got me on the schedule that very day. We discussed at length the pricing options and warranties available for different water heaters and. Two technicians arrived promptly and they were very fast and very professional. They removed our old water heater and installed a new one along with a new overflow tank. They replaced some of the duct work that was not up to code and filed for our permit. We could not be happier with the service they provided.
