Excellently. The telephone conversation with Fast identified the proper replacement Rheem water heater (our old one was a Bradford White) and outlined the full service options and scheduled next day delivery and installation at a competitive price. The delivery the next day was on time, the professional was courteous, prompt, fully equipped, completely knowledgeable both technically and with regards to the paperwork and permit issues. He completed the installation that included installing a drain line, drain pan, and new earthquake strapping. He demonstrated the operation and ignition of the pilot and oversaw my own operation. He left the area fully cleared, clean and ready for use.

I felt comfortable letting Chatten handle his business. I felt he kept me well informed of his progress and was always very polite, courteous, and genuine. The final installation looks great, and so far we have had no issues.

Bryan M was punctual and a true master of his trade. He worked quickly and diligently with a clear plan. Bryan M was customer oriented and was very knowledgeable as he explained, in detail, everything he was doing and why he was doing it. I discovered my HWH (Hot Water Heater) died right before sending my kids to school. I purchased a middle-of-the-line HWH from a Big Box store and planned install it while taking work calls at home. Most of the time, I consider installation contractors over payed for what they do - swapping an appliance that's already there out for a new one, and hooking up to connections that have already been provided. I'm just a DIY'er, but many of the "licensed contractors" I've come across aren't much more than DIY'ers with a toolbelt and a license number. However, after looking at my work schedule (and the 160lbs weight spec of the HWH), I swallowed my pride and decided not to install the HWH myself. Fortunately, the Big Box I bought the HWH provided possible same-day installation service. Joe B. and Abraham from the San Jose branch of Fast Water Heater reached out and scheduled a (completely reasonable) early-afternoon appointment time for the installation. Joe and Abraham arrived early allowing us to go over details before I had to get on my next call. I let Joe know I was going to be on the phone with customers, and he saidno sound would interrupt my call and that he should be done in no more than 2 hours. It turned out my work call ended early after 15 minutes. Since Joe and Abraham had only been at my house 30 minutes, I went to see how far they had gotten. Lo and behold, they had my old broken unit out and on their truck and the new unit installed with all new hookups, flood pan and new drain plumbing completed. All said and done, the Hot Water Heater guys picked up my HWH, pulled the permits for me, brought the HWH to my house, yanked the old tank out and slapped the new one in bringing the entire installation to code in the process with just 30 minutes of on-site time. It took almost as long to fill out the paper work for the Big Box. The install charge was a little less than the cost of the HWH (roughly doubling the cost). However, considering the extremely fast, professional, competent and high quality work, it was absolutely worth every single penny - and that's coming from a "don't pay for what you can do yourself" guy). There's really no part of the job I could have done better or equal to these guys - Joe knew his stuff and how to get the job done the right way quickly.

Bryan was on time, professional, personable, and did excellent quality work. Some code updates were needed and Bryan was able to correct all pre-existing issues while still coming in just under what we were quoted over the phone. I will definitely be calling Fast Water Heater Co next time I have any issues.

It went well. Jose did it pretty quickly and well, everything was cleaned afterwards, questions were answered, everything went great. Now we can enjoy the new water heater in the house. :)

I was referred to Fast Water Heater Seattle Eastside by Home Depot. Fast Water Heater had the water heater I wanted in stock and I was able to set up an appointment in the timeframe that I wanted. I spoke with Don a couple of times and he was polite and professional. Ryan, the installer, arrived on time, behaved professionally at all times and was thorough in all he did (including picking up every piece of waste in the area). I especially appreciated his politeness and willingness to answer all my questions. He explained what he was doing and why and what to look out for in the future and how the product was made and what each part did and why. I was very impressed with Ryan and would use this company again because of how he represented them.

Bryan m was on time and came to house within the time when he called to let me know when he was going to be at home. Bryan was very knowledgeable gave me good information and also some other options to think about. Wrote up estimate and instructions of what to do next. Bryan even called later in the day with some more info that will help with what I do.

ChrisB was professional and informative. Took around 1.5 hours to complete this work. Price did seem a little high, although I did not get additional estimates, so I can't say for sure. Final price included new expansion tank ($179), earthquake strap installation ($55), vent ($109), taxes ($160), disposal, permit ($104), etc. New Rheem water heater (PR0G50-38N RH60) comes with a 10 year warranty.

Arrival was much later than the scheduled time frame. I understood there was some miscommunication within the dispatcher and also circumstances arose from his last job site. Regardless, Eric did a fantastic job. It was very late on a cold Sunday (after 5pm) and Eric still took the time to explain what he was going to do. He was friendly, courteous and did a superb job. I am very happy with his work and will have no hesitation to hire Fast Water Heater company again.

Chatten was both informative and pleasant to deal with. He made sure to outline both the procedure, the break down of cost, and the reason behind all of the paperwork. The work area was totally clean when he was finished, and all walls/carpet/kitchen floor was unmarked. I would happily engage with this company again in the future if their service professional was at Chatten's level.

I called several companies, and when I first called Fast Water Heater Company, and discussed the scope of work, including the location and access issues - second floor, in a laundry room, I was given a price. Having compared prices, I called Fast Water Heater Co. again, to verify the pricing. At that time, I asked if the Angie's list coupon for 75.00 would apply to the quoted price. The person I talked to this time said the original price was correct, but then he asked how many steps were involved to get upstairs. He said the price included 14 steps, and more than that would add 39.00 to the price. I told him there were around 24 steps, including 6 or 7 outside to the entry landing. He said that would add 39.00, plus 99.00 more for an additional worker to deliver and install the new water heater. He also said the price would not be firm until they showed up to install. Given the change in the price on the phone, I did not trust them to hold their pricing on the job. I wonder if the add-ons related to the coupon. It may not have, but the first person who quoted the job was not thorough, if that is the case. It does raise doubts. Also, their website indicates they can usually install the same day if the request comes in by 11 a.m. the same day. I called on a Wednesday night, and the soonest they would come was Friday. I received pricing from two other companies. Without the run-around, I had a new water heater installed by another company on Thursday.

The job went well. The repair man was on time, did not make a mess, and cleaned the work before leaving.

Not well. When I contacted Fast Water Heater to arrange a service call they informed me they would only service units still within the maker's original 10 year warranty. Since our unit was out of warranty, their suggestion was to buy a brand-new unit instead. Fortunately Fast Water Heater isn't the only Noritz-authorized service provider in our area. I called another firm listed on the Noritz web site and booked an appointment for the next day. They had no problem working on an out-of-warranty unit. I will never use Fast Water Heater again nor will I refer them to friends or neighbors. Their business model appears to be based on greed, not customer service or satisfaction.

Completely satisfied with the efficient response from the office, regarding the job scope, pricing and scheduling. Techician Matthew was on time and efficient doing the work. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Hot water tank installation looks good and works great. This was completely done within one day of my calling FAST. Thanks!

I bought a water heater from Home Depot and Fast was the installer. They installed the water heater and left for the day, but it was not functioning. I called them to complain about the non-working water heater and the installer came back a few days later. The installer kept on insisting it was not his issue that the water was not working. I did not pay Fast to install a non-working water heater. Very unprofessional and rude installer to boot. I will not be doing business with these folks again.

Everything went well from the initial call to make the arrangements through the installation. I called early in the day and was able to be scheduled the same day about lunch time. The entire install only took about 2 hours and the technician was very professional, polite, informative and quick about his work. I would recommend Fast Water Heater when you're in a pinch or even for routine maintenance. They're great!

Our old water heater, more or less, turned into a disaster. We haven't had any problems with it. It was kind of a complicated situation. I think I ordered one particular water heater that turned out they didn't have that one available in this area. And so they gave us a different one that's supposed to be more highly rated or something. When he installed it; they said that they gave us their most experienced installer because it was a little bit unusual; the vent goes out through the wall and not up through the roof, and the model that he ended up putting in had some sort of thing that's like a vertical, not exactly a pipe, but some unit that's parallel to the tank that runs up and down on the back side of it. When he was putting it there trying to get it into position to line it up with a hole in the wall to have the vent go out the way it's supposed to, he ended up pushing it and basically crushing the dryer vent that goes out through that same wall. It used to be maybe four inches in diameter and he crushed it so that it's now maybe two inches by five inches or something like that. I was not very happy with that exactly, but I understand that he had to do it. Since then it's turned out that it hasn't really effected the dryer. It looks ugly, but we can open the cover of the dryer vent on the outside of the wall and look in there and it's not blocking it up exactly. It changes the air flow but it ends up it's not a problem exactly. It seems to be a serious problem. I was bothered by it at first but I think it's okay. I don't particularly hold it against him. In the circumstances I think he did what he had to do. The cost is mostly for the water heater. It seems a little bit expensive to me. They took into consideration the fact that we wanted and needed a water heater and they got it out here quickly. I think it was the next day from when I first contacted them that they got it here. They were resourceful. When they couldn't find the one I ordered they found something that they claim was even better.

Services were performed as scheduled and at the lower end of the estimate.

They were punctual & professional. Only thing I didn't like was there was a extra fee charged because the truck parked further than a driveway's distance from the unit. It was still parked quite close & the water heater was brought in via a dolly yet it was an extra fee was charged.

They were good. This was my first time using them, and would recommend them.

OK except that the metal holder was placed on the garage button, which was not very helpful.

Excellent! Worker called 20 minutes before agreed upon time to say he was on his way. He was able to give me a detailed estimate in about 15 minutes, and bid was lower than dispatcher's estimate. He explained all of the work he would need to do, and I OK'd, so he got right to work. In a little over an hour, he was done! I reviewed the work, went over the guarantee and got instructions for dealing with inspection by city inspector (handled separately). Very thorough and professional, and I am really confident that the install and equipment is going to last.
