My wife and I had been shopping for a sofa and two easy chairs.  We had sticker shock when we tried going through an interior designer.  We had purchased a china cabinet from Greenbaum Home Furnishings in Bellevue and had great service and a good price from them.  James Duffy was the salesman we worked with both times and he is an amazing individual.  He was never pushy or tried to steer us towards something we didn't want.  He did steer us away from a table we liked that he knew would look out of place.  As it turned out...he was right.  James helped us find just the right sofa and two side chairs and than a looooong time helping us pick out fabrics.  When we thought we liked something and than nixed it, he was never fazed when we started from scratch again.  We always felt that he has our best interest at heart.  We haven't received our furniture yet so the story's not over.  We're excited to see our new sofa and chairs in our living room.  There's an amazing amount of furniture to choose from at Greenbaum and after going through an interior decorator, I can tell you that Greenbaum Home Furnishing's offers quality furniture at a reasonable price.  If you go there, make sure to ask for James Duffy.  You won't be sorry.

Saleswoman was very helpful, bright, willing to show me all the possible options for the furniture I wanted. The quality and variety of the furniture in the store appear to be excellent, and the store itself is pleasantly laid out and enjoyable to browse. I was shown all possibilities for my needs, from new arrivals to marked-down items, and wound up buying a sofa which had been around for a while and was considerably marked down and a table that was left over from a set someone else had bought, which was a real bargain. The store does not sell cheap stuff, but I would highly recommend it for anyone intending to spend the money to obtain high-quality products and excellent service.

Greenbaum's rocks! The first time we walked into the store, we got a knowledgable person who answered our questions and put no pressure on us to make a decision.  Because the furniture was coming from overseas, we had to wait for four months.  They kept us informed when the items shipped and scheduled their delivery when they arrived.
What really made the experience exceptional occurred when we found one of the chairs wasn't comfortable.  The sales person we had originally dealt with was on vacation.  Another person graciously stepped in.  Without hesitation, Greenbaum's took back the chair and the sales person helped us pick a replacement.  And this was the above and beyond part: they gave us a loaner chair for the four months we needed to wait for the new chair to arrive.  I haven't run into many furniture stores willing to do that!

We went in to purchase a sofa and were immediately met by a salesman, Jim Duffy.  Jim was able to walk us directly to the styles we were interested in, and offered purchasing options once we found the sofa we wanted.  He followed up several times after the purchase was made and the only surprise was how everything went exactly as we were told it would.  Also, in our conversations we told him about a pair of chairs and ottomans of ours that had broken leg bases.  Jim had the service department contact us, and they picked up, repaired to better than new, and returned the furniture to our home all as expected.  The repairs turned out far better than we expected.

I was in the market for living room and dining room furniture and had been looking for a while. I found something from the Drexel Heritage manufacturer website that I liked. Drexel listed only two stores that carry their line in the Seattle area. Greenbaums was the closest so I contacted them first. As I wanted to furnish several rooms, I contacted Greenbaum's in advance to set up an appointment with a designer. I met with the assigned designer, Susan, we discussed my interests, like/dislikes, colors etc. then set up an at home appointment. I also mentioned I might be interested in redoing my family room she could help find a way to seat more people in the room. They charge $75 for a home visit but thought it was necessary to create the floor plan. The rest of the design service is complementary. Susan came out to my home where she took measurements and pictures. The next step was to meet back at the showroom where we reviewed Susan floor plans for the three rooms. There were also some fabric selections laid out. We walked the showroom together and looked at catalogs to pick out furniture. Her living room design helped me think out of the box, it is an odd size room but she helped make the most of it. I didn't like her initial design 100% but we worked on it together to make it great. Susan really listens and helped me  find furniture that met my taste and lifestyle. She does not force her taste on you. We picked out one rug out of their selection and their rug buyer Masoud found a coordinating one for the other room that was perfect. I also picked out a rug for the family room but it didn't look right in the room when I brought it home so they took that one back. I ended up ordering a custom rug for the family room (still waiting on it). After about 10 weeks, all the furniture arrived (I opted to take delivery all at once but you have the option of taking pieces as available). Their delivery people are very professional and efficient. I did have an issue with one of the sofas but they worked out a replacement with the manufacturer and had delivered that as well. I couldn't be happier with my new living room ,dining room and family room. I think I would have been able to have some nice furniture on my own but with Susan's help my house looks amazing. They are also great from a customer service perspective resolving every issue. I got high end furniture and handmade rugs hence the cost but Greenbaum's carries a wide variety of brands and can help you find lines that fit your budget. The are upfront about the discount you are getting off the msrp and gave me an extra discount for buying a large amount. Working with Susan and Greenbaum's was a great experience, i highly recommend them.

The sales process went fine, but I am not at all satisfied with my purchase.

Couch did not arrive in United States for 90 days, but Greenbaum's made a special delivery for us so we could have the couch in time for out of town guests. Great service!

We shopped around a lot and we found that the quality at Greenbaum?s was good. We liked the salesperson too. I love the look of the sofa. The delivery time was as per what they had told us. The price was definitely good compared to what we saw for a much lesser quality. It was the quality of that particular brand that we were impressed with.

Cheryl was great to work with. She did a wonderful job of decorating and placing furniture in our home. Whenever I go back to Greenbaum she is very helpful in picking out new pieces as she knows our home very well. She always did what she could to get us the best price. We have had a great experience and will continue to use her services.
