I had a very good experience with this company, from the quote derivation process all the way to mold remediation project completion (which included reconstruction of the impacted area - in this case the utility closet and flooring/subflooring adjacent to that room). The team was hardworking, effective, and committed to the terms of the contract to get the job done!

It went mostly well. There was some back and forth because I was working with them, a roofing company, a management company and a renter. They were patient and responsive and, I'm assuming, got the job done. Since I don't live there, I don't know for sure what the condition of the attic is. But I appreciated their willing to work with all the schedules of the above people.

They were on time, on budget, and what I really liked, vs other mold services I have used, they did both the mold treatment and solved the venting issues.

We were pleased with the service. Everything smelled clean afterward (he did use bleach to remove staining), and our home passed a subsequent inspection without any mention of mold.

Very well done. The mold was a minor issue, but a potential sticking point in our home sale. They cleaned it up and improved ventilation to prevent recurrence. Their warranty is transferrable which helps as we are selling our home, Brant went out of his way to communicate to future buyers that he would stand by his guarantee.

It went very well. Brant was easy to work with and was quick to get in the house to start the cleaning. I felt comfortable that the mold was removed and the air cleaned when they left.

I was first impressed with their honesty. I had been worried that my lack of taking care of the issue closer to when the leak happened would be very costly now. They said the mold wasn't bad at all. It was currently dormant, but if we got a lot of humidity it could be a problem. They were able to perform the service soon after I approved the estimate. The workers were right on time, and finished sooner than they estimated. They used drop cloths to protect the floors. They replaced insulation in areas that the plumbers had not re-tacked back up. They used an enzyme treatment for the mold. I was very happy with the work performed and recommend them to others.

Overall went great, we negotiated a price and they did a good job. We had a few issues with communication and follow up (timely) but other than that good.

They tested and did a complete inspection, no mold was found however the tenant was advised about the need to keep unnecessary items out of the house and properly vent the home. The approach was very professional and solved the problems without any drama.

Good, called and had a cancelation so did it sooner than originally scheduled, was done in under an hour and offered advice on what to expect and how to maintain going forward.

After trying to obtain several bids we decided to use MoldEaters because they were the only company, we found, who was able to do the plumbing and drywall. Brant came right out and quickly determined the mold was due to a slow leak behind the wall of the hot water heater. We quickly received our bid via email. Our mold was growing quickly and we didn't want to wait for the other companies. Plus we may have had to hire a separate plumber. We felt the price was a little high at first but Dennis did extra work at no additional cost. We decided to replace our 15 year old water heater since it needed to drained and removed. Dennis replaced two hose bibs and hooked up our new heater. He also hooked up a temporary system so we could have hot water while the studs were drying.

They didn’t finish on time, there wasn’t a final inspection, they weren’t too kindly and they responded after that. The house was done to the level of a teenaged kid experience.

Great. Personable, professional, great inspection, great bid. Just have not decided which way to go yet.

Brant was extremely helpful and explained details about mold etc. He explained ways I could remedy some of the issues myself but was glad to also take care of it as well. Really good guy and very knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again.

Mold Eaters provided us with perfect service including a contract that outlined the scope of work. We completely renovated a house that was a short sale. The house sat empty for three years, with mold in the basement walls and attic. Mold Eaters remediated all of the mold on time and for the price stated. Their only weakness is in billing and returning phone calls. Their work is very good.

Moldeaters was a really professional and competent company. I had no reservations about them. They came, tested the attic, scrubbed the affected beams, applied enzymes, made recommendations to prevent further issues and they came back and retested the attic for mold. The test was sent to a 3rd party lab for evaluation. Mold spores were below normal after the test. When the house sold, home inspectors found no mold in the attic.

We recently purchased a 3,400 sf home with a large, poorly ventilated attic space. Mold was identified during the pre-purchase inspection. Moldeaters crew of 4 arrived on time and worked steadily, over the course of three days, treating the existing mold, removing insulation from existing soffit vents, installing additional soffit vents in the eaves to improve air circulation in the attic, and installing 3 temperature/humidity controlled powered fans along the roof peak. Workers were knowledgeable, professional and tidy. They were quick to pick up bits of insulation that they tracked into the carpet as they existed insulated crawlspace hatches. They would have gotten an A rating from me, except for some issues that are still outstanding. First, we notice the powered roof fans are running a majority of the time, even though the outside air temperatures have dropped (it is now late October). Controls for the fans are located inside the crawlspace, so it is difficult for us to adjust their operation. We have also noticed an increase in smoke odors inside the house which is likely due to a leaky fireplace damper, but we suspect that the operation of the new fans may be contributing to the problem by pulling room air into the attic through gaps in the ceiling (such as those around the light fixtures) and the chimney. We have since had Brant (the owner) back out to observe the problem and are waiting to get a proposal from him to remedy. In the meantime we have had to cover the fireplace with plastic and tape in place to keep the smoke smell out of the room. We intend on getting the chimney inspected in anticipation of eventually installing a fireplace insert. This should adequately seal the area around the fireplace and remove the smoke smell, but we are not convinced the roof fans need to run as much as they do in order to control mold growth. The jury is still out, but I anticipate that Brant will help us troubleshoot and resolve the issues we have discussed.

These were the best people! They came on time, worked hard, very professional, easy to get along with. They were very patient with us, because they were mostly done a few days before we were finished sorting 50 boxes of mouldy papers, some of which we needed to shred. They agreed to keep the drop box for us longer than usual (which cost them a little extra but they didn't charge us extra). They came back several days later, when we finally finished sorting, to finish hauling unwanted sorted mouldy papers to the drop box. Also, when he brought the dehumidifier, we decided we wanted time to research dehumidifiers in Consumer Reports, so he took it back with him and gave us time. The dehumidifier he had supplied had a good CR rating, but we decided to go with a different brand because it was supposed to be slightly quieter. He ordered it for us, brought it out, and installed it, all with a smile. The room smells great, looks great, we are very happy. The dehumidifier and fan are doing a good job. What a relief.

The project went smoothly. Brant sent Kris out to demo/remove the moldy materials and repair the leak and later sent Dennis to replace the frame, do the drywall and paint. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
