SWOPE EXCAVATION & CONSTRUCTION

The project went great. I called Michael and got a quote all in the same day. He called with a day that he could start. He showed up and clarified to make sure he knew what I wanted. Michael then went immediately to work. After starting Michael realized that there was more concrete hidden under the driveway than expected and immediately let me know that it would take an extra load to remove. After seeing the great job he had done in removing the material in my driveway, I asked if he could expand the job and remove about another 12 yards of dirt from my backyard. He worked his magic and did a great job leaving us with a much more usable yard and driveway. In the end Michael removed 22 yards of dirt, gravel, and sod and 2 dump truck loads of concrete.

Michael was terrific in responding to this somewhat more complex than normal project since installing geotech fabric requires additional prep and install work than normal. I looked forward to working with him on this project, but unfortunately we discovered an unrelated construction issue which did not let us build the planned permeable driveway. I'll definitely call Mike again for this type of job - he was the only excavating contractor I've talked to directly who timely responded to phone calls, emails, and even juggled scheduling when we had a project delay.
