I'm so glad we decided to contact 24/7 Flood & Fire the night a plumbing leak caused a major flood in our house. From the minute they picked up the phone, 24/7 Flood & Fire was communicative, responsive, and professional. Obviously, dealing with something like a house flood is stressful beyond belief, but the 24/7 team really helped us gain back some piece of mind. The flood happened when we were out of town, but I was still able to get 24/7 onsite and into our house within 2 hours of leaning about it. From that night through the next week the team took great care through water mitigation/drying to post-flood demolition to make sure our house was in the best shape it could be as we head into the next phase of recovery. Particular shout out to Christian, our project manager, who stayed in constant contact throughout the ordeal. I would recommend this crew in a heartbeat!

From response to the completion of work there was good communication and excellent workmanship at a fair price. We have worked with 24/7 for over 15 years with amazing results. It was no surprise they delivered value at a high level as they do so consistently.

Meeting Sydney, my project manager on Monday night after 9:30pm was the best thing that could happen during our flood emergency! Our basement flooded, 3 in of water everywhere and we were panicking. A friend referred us to 24/7 Flood & Fire. I called and within an hour Sydney and her team were at the house, calming us down and getting to work. They were able to pump the water out within 2 hours and help troubleshoot the issue. We found out the sump pump failed! The next day Sydney came out with her team and cleaned the basement from all of the damage. We pretty much lost everything 😭! Clothing, blankets, furniture, etc. They removed it all including all of the carpet. They completed flood cuts to all of the water damaged walls! So much needed to be done and she and her team handled it quickly and professionally, keeping me updated often. They set up fans and dehumidifiers to dry out the wood framing to prevent mold in the walls. They sanitized the areas needing it and checked back in daily to do moisture checks while the basement dried out, all while working with my schedule. Finding out sump pump failure wasn't fully covered on our insurance policy scared me to death. After I informed Sydney of this, she said she would work with my budget which was very humbling and appreciated. Huge shout out to Sydney and her team, Thomas, Rex, and Eric!!! These folks turned an extremely stressful situation for my family and made it their own, taking the stress away from us. I would call them in a heart beat if something tragic like this happened again (I pray it doesnt) and I strongly recommend you call them first if you encounter any type of water damage to your home!!! Thank you again Sydney and her team at 24/7 Flood & Fire!!! Appreciatingly- Jai and Brandin

24/7 Flood & Fire was not the first company I called which was my biggest mistake. At the end of last December I noticed water coming out of my basement ceiling when someone took a shower in the bathroom above. A contractor came out and gave me a nearly $20,000.00 bid for the entire job. Because of this I filed a claim at the beginning of January. That is where the nightmare began because progress on my claim went nowhere. My insurance company balked at the first bid and sent out their “preferred” contractor. That only made things worse. They threw a fit because the affected materials hadn’t been removed yet. That company wouldn’t even give me a firm bid so i sent them away. By the middle of February I was at my wits end and my insurance company was threatening to deny my claim altogether. While sharing my frustration with a friend he suggested I try 24/7 Flood & Fire. I did and that was when EVERYTHING changed. They understood that I am not an expert when it comes to water damage and how insurance works. But they are! I didn’t really know the difference between mitigation and restoration. Jason and Aaron patiently explained all of this and the claims process in a way nobody had so I hired them to do a “discovery”. They found that my shower only leaked when we switched it from the bath spout to the shower head. Finding this out was the first step to getting assurance that my claim was even covered because it fit the description of a “sudden occurrence”. 24/7 Flood & Fire put together a bid that was LESS THAN HALF what the first company gave me including both mitigation and restoration. They did all the hashing it out with my insurance company. (It took a lot of hashing it out because the grossly inflated bid from first company caused my claim to get extra scrutiny). In the end that didn’t matter. 24/7 jumped through the necessary hoops, came to an agreement with my adjuster, and got to work. Their communication and quality of work were outstanding. They put my bathroom back in working order and there’s nothing to suggest I ever had a leak. They even made efficiencies in the project that left enough money to pay for the plumbing repair which wasn’t covered. WHO DOES THAT??? These guys did. Water damage is a royal pain and inconvenience. I’m still not a water damage expert but I’m a heck of a lot wiser now. If it happens to you I suggest you call 24/7 Flood & Fire first. You can even tell them Mike in Federal Way sent you.

These guys were awesome. We had a hole in our galvanized plumbing that created a sewage mess under the house, and got a bunch of quotes to clean up after the fix. Not only were 24/7 the most reasonably priced by far, their communication and punctuality were on point. Best of all, the crew of two (Eric and Rex) were super friendly and fun to talk to, and they did a perfect job with cleanup and barrier replacement. A++++, 10/10.

***READ BEFORE YOU USE THEM*** If I could do no starts I would, never in my life have I been ripped off by a company like this one. 4 weeks before the sell of our house we had water dripping from the ceiling of our room and we were referred to them by Beacon. They checked the upstairs where it was leaking from and said everything was dry, but below everything was wet I said ok lets get it dry. They told us yeah we can get your floor dry so they came in and cute a huge hole put 4 fans and a dehumidifier it he open room and said to leave it running. $ days in they said its still 55% in some spots and 99% in others so we continued then day six they said well the floor is not dry and that could mean dry rot and so we said ok. I was starting to question them and I had a sec company come out to look at it and they said why are they not sealing off the area that needs to be dry and instead heating the whole room. They also checked the upstairs (same spot at 24/7) and found that it was 55% wet as well. Well come to find out they were doing it wrong the whole time and just racking up a bill. I have a 3100 dollar bill from them and they did nothing. They were not professional, didn't give me consistent information DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I will also be calling beacon and letting them know my experience because the is terrible.

Be aware of a joint scam between Beacon Plumbing and 24/7 Flood & Fire! I called Beacon Plumbing because my second floor toilet had a slow leak which caused some secondary damage to the drywall and flooring. Beacon Plumbing charged me $2100 to replace the toilet and the plumber (Troy) personally called 24/7 Floor and Fire on his personal mobile phone to “help me out” with drying the house. By the way, he mounted the toilet knowingly 24/7 Flood and Fire could not work on drying the bathroom with the toilet mounted (he just wanted to get the $2100). On the phone 24/7 Flood & Fire told me they work directly with home insurance, but their personnel (named Zach) came over, he quickly dismissed that claim (which turns out is a lie) and charged me $3000 for the work. If the situation couldn’t get any worse, 24/7 Flood and Fire needed to dismount the toilet in order to work, which they placed in the bathtub, the heavy toilet ended up breaking the bathtub as a consequence. Of course they did not tell me anything until a week later a contractor came in to fix the drywall and said “Have you noticed whoever placed the toilet in the bathtub, broke the bathtub?”. At this point I wasn’t sure if 24/7 Flood and Fire broke the bathtub or Beacon Plumbing, since I couldn’t recall if they called Beacon Plumbing to move the toilet to the bathtub, or they did it themselves. I called Beacon Plumbing who sent out Troy for the second time, he denied having anything to do with placing the toilet in the bathtub, charged me $80 for the visit and asked if I wanted the toilet removed from the bathtub and installed for an additional $700 (I already paid $2100 for this service the week before). Additionally Troy offered to leave a quote for the replacement of the bathtub, which I asked for, but never received. Finally I received a call from 24/7 Flood & Fire admitting they were the ones who broke the tub. I spoke with a guy name Sean at 24/7 Flood & Fire who said he will do whatever it takes to make us happy and fix their mistake. I told him what I thought was fair is to have our bathroom in the state it was in prior to their personnel coming in, which includes removal and disposal of broken bathtub and install of an equivalent model. A few days later Sean calls me and tells me he opened a claim with their insurance and quoted a bathtub from Bath fitters for $2200 ($1500 bathtub + $500-$700 labor). When I asked to see the quote, he denied having a documented quote and said it was just a verbal conversation. He told me we had two choices to have them take care of it (facilitate the work and cost) or write us a check for $2200, he repeatedly advise me to think about it because all he wanted to do is make us happy. I asked him to facilitate the work and cover the cost. At this point he told me that was not an option, and the quote was for a bathtub liner and not an actual bathtub replacement. Obviously this is all a scam. The worst part about this is that when people call Beacon Plumbing or 24/7 Flood & Fire, they are in distress because it’s typically an emergency. This company takes advantage of their customers when they are most venerable and takes full advantage of the situation. Extremely unethical way to run your business.

It is sad that these platforms are too often used by anonymous consumers who believe they have the power to compel companies into taking actions that are far beyond reasonable good faith solutions. Fortunately we have a decades long history of clients who were kind enough and felt compelled to give us accurate reviews about their experience which puts into perspective those who try to “cancel” a company that won’t cave into excessive demands. I believe our reply to this latest review will make it clear what type it is. This review bears such little resemblance to the actual exchange that we are truly baffled by it. The plumbing company was informed of this situation on February 8th and knowing they had not removed the toilet they reached out to us that same day. We then confirmed with a member of our crew who immediately acknowledged storing the toilet in the tub, although he said he was positive he set it down on plastic very gently. Dismissing that portion of his account we snapped into action. In fact there was such little hesitation on our part that we reached out to you to take ownership before you could even initiate a call to us. A member of our construction department was on site within a couple of hours of that call. He’d had experience with damaged tubs in his career and offered to hire a company that specializes in repairing tubs that are cracked/chipped. Even ones with much more significant damage than yours. That company’s work comes with a five year warranty which in most cases is better than one you’d get from a new product installer! You initially accepted this offer and we agreed to hire and coordinate the repair which takes one day at a cost of $1200. This was not a bandaid. It is a widely accepted industry standard solution to cracked fiberglass fixtures. It included a complete repair to the fiberglass and a resurfacing of the entire tub liner which would’ve made it exactly like new with a warranty that almost certainly would’ve exceeded what came before it. In our next exchange you stated that your spouse was not ok with this offer and wanted a new product. But not a new retrofit liner to replace the one damaged. You insisted we pay for the removal of the liner AND the existing tub that it lined, and replace it with a new tub. Tub liners like the name implies are just that. They line a pre-existing tub. They are not meant to be a stand alone product so what you were insisting on was a significant upgrade assuming that was the extent of the demand. But it did not end there. We learned that to remove the pre-existing tub it would require the flooring to be replaced due to how the bathroom was previously remodeled prior to the homes sale. We decided as a company that we had to draw the line at bringing your tub back to its pre-loss condition with a replacement liner and not turning this situation into a major bathroom remodel which is neither our legal nor moral obligation. We did some leg work calling around to local bath fitters to get some idea of cost. Without performing a site visit they of course offered no hard written quote for the work but provided a verbal ballpark with a range as low as $1300 and as high as $2200. We then relayed that to you and offered to cut you a check for the highest verbal quote we received OR if you were not comfortable with this we suggested you obtain your own independent like for like retrofit bid and we would pay you off of that. These represent three different options and we asked you to reach out to us after discussing it with your spouse and decide if you found one of these options acceptable. Instead of reaching out to us you’ve now reached out to the whole planet but to what end? We’ve acted in good faith every step of the way, never pressuring you to accept any particular offer. We also never stated that a claim had been filed with our insurance carrier as we have a deductible that is well above even the high end of a reasonable like for like repair solution. We know if we were to file a claim with our insurance that the offers from them would be identical to the ones we’ve made. In fact they may offer less because as i stated earlier repairing fiberglass tubs and liners is not some experimental or questionable solution. It is a very well recognized solution. It is also important to note that while examining the crack we found that the retrofit tub liner did not fit the old tub perfectly and no reinforcement foam or other suitable backing was used to support the liner. This is a huge breach of industry standard practice and it absolutely contributed or fully led to the incident in the first place. But we have not used that fact to shirk our responsibility prior to your review and we still won’t now in its aftermath. The solutions we’ve offered are the same and will continue to be. Should you decide to call us back we are still compelled to make this situation right within reasonable good faith limits. But it will not include the near full bathroom remodel which you have previously insisted upon. Sincerely 24/7 Flood & Fire management

Tyler and his team went above and beyond to help us when the house we were renting completed flooded the lower level. 24/7 Flood & Fire provided excellent service and I would highly recommend them! They came out to investigate a possible water leak and moisture ant problem in my Mom’s kitchen. Jason, the owner was extremely knowledgeable, and I was able to schedule a service visit in a timely manner. The technician who came was very thorough; he carefully inspected her kitchen and crawl space. He was able determined there was no leak, that her problem was sugar and not moisture ants (thank goodness), and recommended several ways to get rid of them. Overall, I found 24/7 Flood & Fire to be very knowledgeable, professional and timely.

D'Ayres arrived on time for the appointment. He explained what signs he was looking for and what he planned to do with the ceiling, and did a very thorough job removing all of the moldy drywall and insulation. He even went out of his way to test places apart from the ceiling to look for hidden, potentially water damaged areas. If I ever need help dealing with water damage in the future, I would definitely hire 24/7 again.

Great experience. Daniel showed up within a couple of hours of my call on a Sunday morning of Father's Day. Daniel had all of the equipment needed to start the drying process out immediately. The drying process went great, and my floors were able to be dried out, without any permanent damage, even though I didn't discover the flooding until around 18 hours after it happened. Daniel was very professional, stayed in contact with me all of the time, and did a great job. I would recommend 24/7 Flood & Fire based on my experience with Daniel.
