My issues were: 1. The call center made everything more complicated than it should have been. I am a busy person and don't have time for them to be the middle person when it's just as easy to talk to the contractor myself. Lesson learned. I had issues communicating with them which caused some delays with the contractor and the materials. 2. The call center was not prompt about returning emails or phone calls. I waited two days for a response on something and then I finally got a call back. 3. Since the people in the call center are facilitating home service projects, then they need to have knowledge of what they are doing. I was displeased, because they were unable to come up with a solution. 4. The way the call center makes their money is taking a commission from the contractor. As said above, I may as well have just called a contractor directly utilizing my Angie's List account. They clearly don't have the slightest idea on how to answer my questions when I asked about my buckling floor or water damage. Though the intention is good of what the center is trying to do, it did not save me time. I could have probably gotten a better deal too if I would have just gone direct with the contractor. I would not use this company!
Description of Work: The Home Service Store markets themselves as helping you get things done for your home, so you don't have to mess directly yourself with the contractor. At the end of the day, I would have saved valuable hours on just going to Angie's List finding the contractor myself based on reviews and done everything that way. They are a middle man, so if you have questions for the contractor they assign you to, you have to wait for them to get it all lined up instead of just calling the contractor yourself. In addition, they choose the contractor based on your area for you. Kind of a waste of time when you can read on Angie's List reivews of contractors. Some girl in a call center just goes down a list and assigns a contractor without fully knowing the needs of the client. My personal experience with them attributed to this.

The store manager at this location makes promices and does not follow up on them. The staff of 4 people there is only one idividual that works there that has any buisness working with the public. The store manager repetedly takes kick back money form there in house cut rate contractor and the amount of complaints against this manager that simply gets thrown out due to an aliance between regional manager and store manager that just dismisses any issues so that nothing is ever done to correct the problem. Lumber Liquidators used to be a great and friendly place to shop for your flooring project, what most customers do not know now is what goes on behind the counter. Any one in there right mind would never shop there or support them after knowing the amount of disrespect givin to there customers.
Description of Work: Do not trust The home service store and lumber liquidators!! They will trick you with false advertising and claims of warranties that do not exist! There sole purpose is to provide so called certified installations when there only certification process is that you have a decent credit score and insurance, no product knowlage is required!! Once calling this company somone is sent out to your house to give an estimate and you have no choices in who they send out. after the estimate is given you have to pay 50% of the estimate up front to schedule the work. Once job has started or once completed if you have any problems they give you a huge run around and do not address the problem correctly. When in all honestly the warranty is through the contractor that did the work and had nothing to do with the home service store!! They charge there installers 15% of the job and do nothing to support there people. They are sistamaticly ruining the name of Lumber Liquidators. And if you are unfortunate enough to have purchased material at the cincinnati Lumber Liquidators location be prepaired for the worst shopping experince of your life due total to the misguidence of the in store manager and regional manager combination of crooks that govern that location.
