It was excellent. He was very thorough. He came when he said he was going to come. He did the job. When I asked him if he knew who could put the ramp up, he said he could do it. At that time my husband was in the hospital. He got the ramp up the day my husband came out of the hospital. He and his workmen helped me get my husband up the steps on the back porch into the house because the ramp wasn't finished. He came and put the ramp up when I asked him to. He was just a very helpful person. He did a very good job. I would recommend him to anybody.

Very satisfied with results. Started on time, worked hard with few breaks to complete. He was very interested in making sure it was a quality job.

He started when he said he would, and finished the job very well. He is a person who takes pride is his work, and can't stand to see bad work. He saw that my gate to the front fence was broken and fixed it at no extra cost. Mainly because he can't stand to see things not working right. He has done such good work, and has tried to help me as my Husband is in the hospital, that I have contacted him to build a ramp to the front door. I highly recommend him to everyone!!!

Contacted this company twice over the space of a week, i.e., left message on voice mail. I needed a fence to be repaired. Company did not return my call. Eventually went with another firm who returned my call and did the work on schedule and budget.

My experience with this company was excellent. Mr. Foster responded to my call right away and came to the house within a day to see what I wanted and where the fence would be located. He gave me an estimate in writing, an approximate date when he could do the job, and his cell phone number in order to contact him easily. When the exact date was locked in, he began when he said he would; he and his crew worked consistently until the job was finished, with no interruptions. He was responsive to every detail I told him was important to me. I am delighted with the job and highly recommend this company..

I referred to Angie’s list when I needed some fencing for my yard. Foster Fence Co was right on top with an “A” rating. Mr. Foster came in September and wrote me up the quote for a 46.5’ span of privacy fence. I have a private feral cat sanctuary with a large outside pen that I wanted enlarged. Mr. Foster had never done one before, but he checked what he needed to do against what I had done and about a week later gave me a verbal quote (which was not later embellished) for the pen and told me that he could begin in November. He began mid-November. He came on a Wednesday with an able helper and lined up and set posts. The next two days when I returned home from work showed appreciable progress on the pen, but the privacy fence was still a skeleton. I found out why that Saturday when Mr. Foster came on his day off to do a little more work on the pen. His assistant had car trouble and was unable to come to work. Mr. Foster was doing the job by himself! That Monday everything was completed with the return of his assistant, and let me tell you that fence is as straight as an arrow. These aren’t cheap 8-foot sections. Each board was nailed by hand. He even backfilled and smoothed the dirt at the base of the fence to fill in the dips, maintaining the level topline. He did the same with the pen. The wood is gorgeous, not what you are used to finding in the large home improvement stores. While he worked, Mr. Foster had to remove a piece of temporary fence, but told my housemate when my dog needed to go out to let him know and he replaced it each time for the duration of the work. Foster Fence Company was the only estimate I sought. I weighed my time and money against the pen I built (it took me a couple of years working part time) against the enlargement I wanted (over three times the size of the original) and considered the estimate fair and equitable.

Everything was timely and smooth and my dog loves her new yard. He started withing 24 hours of the projected date, held up by weather, but planted posts even in a cold rain. He allowed 48 hours for the concrete to set and finished putting up the boards and trim in two days on a very long fence. On the final half day he finished creating the gates, meticulously cleaned up debris and equipment, and left my yard ready for use.

I got flawless performance and an excellent looking, sturdy fence. It exceeded my expectations. When I hired him, he told me it would be a couple of weeks because of other jobs in progress and a weather-related backlog. Before he started, I called him to express some reservations about something we had discussed. He listened to my concern and adapted the plan to meet my needs. True to his word, he set the posts sometime during the week of Jan 17; then finished the build on Jan 24. I was concerned that a fence that would contain my large dog would look ugly and prison-esque from the street. That's not the case at all. It's really, really nice. I'm proud to have it in my yard.

I contacted the company about getting an estimate as well as some other companies. Mr. Foster was the first to reply to my request and turned out to be the best option for me. From the start he was incredibly friendly and professional. His estimate was fair and fit what I was looking for perfectly. I called him the next day and told him to go ahead and build it. He ordered the lumber and affixed the fence posts two days prior to Christmas. The next week after the cement had some time to sit and the Holiday had passed Mr. Foster and his associate came out and finished the job in one day. They were here early and worked hard. I would recommend his company to anyone looking to get a fence built! He also guarantees his work better then any other company you will find.

I had priced this at a home improvement store and got a phone estimate from another large company to get a ballpark figure. These would both have cost more for a less complex and/or shorter fence. I had a design worked up and Mr. Foster spent time with me working out the details, his suggestions were invariably right on the mark in visualizing what would look best. We set a tentative date in 2 weeks but he was able to do it sooner. The posts were set one day and everything else completed 2 days later. He and his 2 assistants arrived early and worked quickly and had the fence done by afternoon. Mr. Foster worked with me on the trellis design and put them up that same day. He charged me exactly what he'd estimated. He took the time to work with me on what I wanted even though it wasn't a big job. It's beautiful and I love it. I'll definitely have him do more fencing, arbors, trellises etc. for me as I need them.

Contractor (Scott Foster) built a very sturdy arbor/pergola measuring 8' in height, 4' in width and approximately 3' in depth. Construction materials included treated pine 4x4 posts (in cement) with 2x4 top members with 2x2 lattice work. An accent picket fence flanked the arbor. Construction was completed in a timely and very professional manner. Outstanding value.

We had them do our privacy fence years ago, and we had gotten such good results through them, we had also used them for our picket fence. The fence was needed around our pool, and they placed it perfectly to our wishes. They forgot a gate in one place and when we called, they came out and fixed it that day. I thought they were very pleasant people to work with.

My new fence was pretty expensive, but it was well worth the privacy that we got. It didn t take long to put up the fence and they had it all up and completed within a day. Everything was done just the way I wanted it and I have recommended them to one of my friends.

I felt these people did a really terrific job. The fence looked good when they were all done with it. It was all nice and even. The crew who did the work was very nice and had good attitudes. They cleaned up real well and I was a satisfied customer.

They did a good job but when the ground gets real wet the post in the cement start to lean. The fence has a lean to it. Thanks to Angie's List for recommending this company. I like our fence and they worked hard. I am sure they will fix it at no charge to me.
