Top notch service. They arrived at the scheduled time, properly diagnosed the issue with my fire place and corrected the problem where two other contractors were unsuccessful! They were respectful to my house by putting down drop cloths and cleaning up the work area after completing the job.

Mike did wonderful job, prompt, fireplace looks like new

Mike did good work but when he presented me with a bill and there was a fireplace switch he said was defective and replaced which I had used till the day before and charged me $16 for parts and labor. This was a newer switch I had installed a couple of years ago. I know for a fact that the switch was good. He did not leave me with a bad switch or called me over to prove to me that it was bad before replacing it. When you take a car to a mechanic to get it worked on, he doesnâ t replace the part without telling you first. The only reason I needed a fireplace serviced is that I was selling my house and needed a piece of paper that stated the work was performed. Now, the switch could have been bad, it would have been more correct to inform the owner before changing it out without informing the owner. Oh well, I just tipped him less.

We paid $275 for the pilot light in our fireplace to be cleaned (fireplace was not working properly ) and were told that the tech would contact us about replacing the thermostat. We never received a call back regarding the thermostat, we have left messages and tried calling them numerous times to no avail and now our basement where the fireplace is smells like gas all the time.

Michael was professional and very thorough, from laying out all his necessary tools to clean up. I explained the problem and he got right to work. He made sure I approved of his work before he left, and also explained how to care for the fireplace so the problem wouldn't occur again. I would definitely hire him again and plan to in a year for the fireplace's annual cleaning.
