I purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal" for the inspection. During the inspection, a defective inducer blower motor was identified and replaced for $900. The company did not agree to any credit on the labor cost even though the heater was already partially disassembled for the inspection. Also, the blower motor is a roughly $200 part. A few days later, the heater failed completely. The company did respond quickly and offered to credit the cost of previous work toward a new unit, however, even with the credit their estimate was significantly higher that other firms contacted.

Very we;;! We contacted IAQ Medics because we are no longer satisfied with the service contract we've had for 10-plus years with another HVAC company. We were looking for a second opinion but did not rule out a change of providers. The office was very helpful and upfront with information and setting up an appointment. The technician was able to come 1 hr earlier and arrived ready to inspect and service our system. He was courteous and very patient in answering all our concerns and questions. He found some discrepancies which he corrected. But, best of all, he pronounced the system in good working order and not on its last leg as was the opinion and sales pitch of the other company this spring. Even before we got the good news we were already so impressed with the knowledge and work ethic of this technician that we were ready to switch providers. We entered a service contract on the spot and when the day comes, and it will, to replace our system IAQ Medics will get the job!

The best way I can praise IAQ Medics is to say if you have to have someone tell you that a job is going to cost you just shy of $ 7,000.00, you want it to be the fellows at IAQ Medics. These folks from the front office to the repair crew are certainly one of the finest companies (we say THE finest) in the industry. Jonathan responded to an emergency "no A/C" call within hours of the call. He diagnosed the issues and made arrangements to deliver a portable A/C unit within two hours. The delay in actual repair was due only to the size and scope of the job coming up during a brutal heat wave. Dario and Bryan arrived on the promised day and got immediately to work. They insisted on wearing shoe covers while in the house. We hardly knew they were in the house and they apologized profusely when they had to come upstairs from the basement to install the new thermostat. Personable and knowledgeable crew! In a nutshell, they replaced the entire A/C unit and replaced the furnace, flushing systems and disconnecting and reconnecting considerable wiring. Installed a new thermostat. Every last piece of the old equipment was removed from the house and the work area cleaned thoroughly. The entire job was done in record time and the system has been humming along without incident since its installation. This was the largest job we have had IAQ Medics work on to date and we can confidently say the care and attention they give the "major" jobs is the very same you will receive when you report what turns out to be a ten minute fix. You can do no wrong in calling IAQ Medics, the wrong would be in NOT calling them. And be certain to sign up for their Seasonal Maintenance Plan -- it is the best such deal out there!

PERFECT as always! The folks at IAQ are the best in the industry. Josh arrived right on time after calling to let us know he was on the way (if you truly OCD you can follow the truck real time on your phone!). Performed routine maintenance for both the Heat/AC units both inside and out. Extremely knowledgeable, answered our questions (the system is relatively new and we are still getting used to it and was finished up in record time.

I called IAQ Medics at 4:00 PM as my air conditioner died. They said they would send someone out between 5 and 6. He arrived at 6:00. He analyzed my system and replaced the capacitor. He also told me I should be hosing down the unit as dirt and debris had collected inside. He hosed it down for me and suggested a chemical clean in the future. My air conditioner turned on and is working again.

Extremely satisfied!! We were given a window of 1000-1200 for someone to show up. The technician, Brandon, arrived at 0945. He was professional, completed the work quickly, and answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone, and contact them again for my HVAC needs.

They were very responsive from the initial estimate. When getting the estimate, due to the heat pump being located on the 3rd floor, they realized that a crane would be necessary due to the door being too thin (this would have added $2,500 to the cost). However, they realized that we could upgrade the system which could fit through the sliders and would only be a slight increase over the price of the less efficient model + the crane. Due to the length of time that was necessary to install the HVAC system, they came by and put in a portable system to keep our place cool until they could replace it. The day of installation, to ensure that the floor would not be damaged, instead of using a dolly, they carried the heat pump (~300 lbs) up the 3 stories. They set everything up and were very pleasant. Highly recommend them.

It was in and out. It only took five minutes. The Big Deal covered everything. The price was fair. I would consider using them if they have a Deal.

Jonathan, the A\C tech and the office administrators, Laura and Stephanie were GREAT!!! I'm renting a condo in Arlington, Virginia and I live in Florida. My tenant informed me that the A\C unit was making noise. I called IAQ Medics and they were SUPER with their response. When Jonathan arrived at our condo, he quickly diagnosed the problem with the A\C unit and fixed the issue. Also, before completing any work Jonathan called me in Florida to explain what needed to be done and informed on the cost for the repairs. IAQ provides EXCELLENT service and they are SUPER professionals. I highly recommend IAQ for A\C repairs. The administrative staff, Laura and Stephanie, and Jonathan the A\C tech are EXCELLENT professionals and SUPER people. I hope will never have A\C problems, but if you do, call IAQ Medics and you will be VERY HAPPY with their service and their professionalism.

They did a wonderful job! I personally watched them go to every vent in my home and clean each one. With hardwood floors, I was noticing a lot of dust no matter how often I dusted and since the cleaning I have noticed a huge difference! I also have a fairly new dryer that was taking longer than it should to dry a normal sized load and now it is working as it should! I am extremely happy with the availability and thorough job IAQ Medics did!
