It was an insurance claim due to a slab leak. I called Kellam Mechanical due to good reviews on Angie's List. From the first visit to the last bit of clean up at the end, it was truly a pleasure working with Kellam. John was the first person I met with and he was very friendly and professional. They worked around my schedule and the other contractors that were fixing the rest of the crawlspace/slab leak with no issues. Once the removal of the old system was out they worked very hard to ensure it was replaced quickly due to the cold temps. The entire crew was clean courteous and very professional. I Would highly recommend them and use again in the future.

The supervisor, John, was excellent. He and his team were very professional and knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Quality work!

The tech, Jerry Wagner, did an excellent job. He is very thorough, polite and keeps the inside of the house clean. Jerry takes the time to check AC filters, which the other techs do not. On our outside gas pack he inspected thoroughly and vacuumed debris that have accumulated inside the unit. Very honest and does not try to sell you additional (not needed) services.

I have a yearly service contract with them. I have been using their service for around five years. They are very punctual. They always explain any problems they find to me.

An absolutely great job. The technician, Chris, arrived a bit early and proceeded right to work. As he was performing his checks, he was quite informative and personable. I have never had a tech who went over and above as he did, especially with the outside units. I had a poor experience with the last company who worked on my units, so I was extremely pleased to see the time and effort Chris put into my units - they work, look, & run great! I was so impressed that, in a conversation with a neighbor walking his dog, I highly recommended Kellam & Chris for his house. I also called my daughter to let her know how well the visit proceeded.

Very responsive. We had used a mechanical guy who was self-employed but is now retired. AC went out in heat of summer. Called Kellam and a service rep was there in a few hours. Great customer service on the phone and by the service rep.

Our AC went out on a Thursday night. I called Kellam on Friday morning at 9am. A tech was to come around 2pm. An hour later I received a call that the company had an opening earlier. My AC was fixed and the house was cool before 1pm. The bill was under $300 and the technician was polite and very efficient. He even reset our thermostat. I would highly recommend Kellam Mechanical.

I have used Kellam in the past and have always been very satisfied with the quality of their work. They arrived on time, completed the job and was friendly and helpful when asked about other electrical issues. Other companies I used prior to calling Kellam never fixed the problems to my satisfaction and caused new issues from their repair. I will only use Kellam for all future electrical needs.

Polite, knowledgeable and professional. He showed me what he was doing and explained in terms I could readily understand. It was pouring down rain almost the whole time, but he was determined to get the job done. I was very pleased with the result. My A/C unit no longer runs non-stop and it is more comfortable in the house.

The company responded promptly, Adam scheduled the service call and the technician checked out the total air condition system. The service technician, Paul, found nothing wrong with the system (tenants reported a problem) and only charged for a service call.

Kellam Mechanical has done work on my daughter's 100 year old home for years now, they have always provided 100% service to her, so when I moved into my condo I changed to them. Always so attentive, prompt and professional. I know I can always count on excellent service from them.

We had terribly uneven heat in our home. Our master suite was at least 10 degrees hotter than the rest of our home. We had a maintenance contract with another local HVAC company. After months of frustration I called Scott Kellam upon a reference from a friend. Scott called me the same day and came to my house the next day to check out the problem. The very NEXT day he submitted 2 proposals which would solve the problems with our heat system. Scott brought his crew over on January 21 to start the project. Because of the projected snowstorm that day he added guys to his crew and they got the job ALMOST finished that day. They came in and immediately covered all the carpets with coverings. The guys working with Scott were polite, professional, and very knowledgeable in what they were doing. They worked together like clockwork and it was very impressive. The snowstorm precluded them from coming back the next day but Scott called to say they would finish Thursday. They all showed up early Thursday morning and finished by mid day. Before leaving they vacuumed the entire area and left the house immaculate. They also made sure I knew how to operate the programmable thermostat, etc. The end of the story: the master suite temperature is PERFECT! The heat is distributed evenly and because of the extra ducts in the great room it is warmer in there also. They also increased the sizes of the duct work so the airflow is much greater. It is just so much more comfortable in our home. One of Scott Kellam's vision statements is to be an industry that provides superior service and exceptional comfort to the client. Completed work ahead of their originally-projected schedule. Respectful of the interior of my house by wearing plastic covers over their shoes, etc. Price was fair for the work done.

Excellent work. We called Kellam Mechanical, and spoke with DJ who was very reponsive and professional. We felt like DJ genuinely wanted to quickly help with getting the system to generate heat. DJ and Scott got the system up and running in no time. We also appreciate the follow-up call from Kellam Mechanical to make sure that we were pleased with their service. We are very pleased. I have had a service contract for a few years with Kellam and they always did an average job on these semi annual tuneups. However they sent a different tech (Jerry) this time and he was very thorough, inspected everything (includiong the air filters), addressed my concerns, cleaned the units. In short I was very pleased with his inspection and maintainence of both units.

Bryan G was the service technician that came to my house. He found an issue with the capacitor and once that was replaced, heating system working like a charm. I also had him look at thermostat, he said working as it should be. However, I told him it often registers much cooler or warmer in the house then it really feels, so system does not kick in as it should. He brought in several thermostat models to choose from, no hard sell on any particular model. We selected the Honeywell 5000, much easier to read and set/use than our previous model. We also inquired on their maintenance plans and was able to purchase one and save on the labor and parts for today's call. Bryan G was very professional and courteous, explained what the issue was and showed us the part that need replacing. He did not try to sell us on any other service or maintenance. We were so appreciative on the quality of service and their response that is why I inquired about their maintenance plans. It was the best service and quickest response I had of any service provider I used and a holiday weekend to boot.

I have used Kellman Mechanical for a couple of years now and have always from day one been very impressed with their service. They service both my heating and air conditioning. I started using their preventative maintenance last year and highly recommend it. They are very good about calling you when it is time to schedule it. They have always been very responsible, reliable and very knowlegeable. I would recommend them to everyone. A+ job

There service was outdtansing in all respects from the initial evaluation and estimate by John to the installation and completion of the work by Monte. John listens to your needs and responds accordingly. They don't try to sell you something that you don't need. In my case, I was repacing a complete heat pump system at a rental property. I wanted to keep my costs down but also wanted a reliable unit. They recommended and installed a Goodman Heat Pump system which answered both of these needs. Monte was my installer and is the Sewnior Service Technician for Kellam. Not only does he do a professional installation, but he also takes the time to explain everything to the customer in an easily undertsandable manner. You won't find another Monte anywhere. Don't all ask for him at once. All the other companies have big advertising budgets and slick sales people but nobody can hold a candle to Kellam. Believe me because I have tried many of them over almost 40 years of living in this area.

I called them at 7:00am. I surprised to hear that they were open. Kellam was able to repair my A/C unit by 10:00am that day. I have Kellam to my neighbors. Great company! Friendly and efficient staff.

From start to finish our experience with Kellam Mechanical, Inc. was superb! There were a number of reasons as to why we chose to work with Kellam Mechanical, Inc. Price was not so much a factor as knowing for certain that we would be getting quality equipment installed by experienced installers with a company that has a solid reputation. The fact that Scott Kellam has a geothermal system installed in both his home and business were further evidence to us that we had found the right company for the job. Scott has a fantastic installation crew, I wish now I had written down all their names to include them in this review. They were professional and very knowledgeable. We watched and asked a lot of questions along the way. They NEVER made us feel as though we were in their way and they always answered our questions. Everything went smoothly. The well drillers were in and out so quickly. We were told to be prepared for a big mess in our yard as they had to dig six wells. In the end, the mess was minimal and the grass grew over completely months ago. We had heard so many positive things about geothermal systems and now we too can attest to the benefits of going geothermal. The most notable thing, lower utility bills aside, is the constant temperature throughout the entire house. In the past we would often have to adjust the heat and AC either upstairs, downstairs, or both throughout the day. NO more, the entire house has been comfortable regardless of whether we are running the heat or AC. We had a return installed in our room over the garage. Up until that return was installed the room was relatively unusable in the winter and summer. With the doors closed, that room easily read 10 degrees hotter or cooler than the rest of the home. Now with the return, regardless of whether the doors to the room are open or closed the temperature is within a degree or two of the rest of the house. We also had a Navien on demand hot water unit installed. In the past we would have to run the master bath faucets or shower for what seemed like forever until the water would run warm. We had the Navien installed to speed up that process and thereby reduce water consumption. There was no guarantee that it would significantly reduce the wait time given the only location in the house available for them to install the unit was further from the master bath than preferred. However, the wait time for warm water has been greatly reduced and for that we are very pleased. The installation from start to finish took close to two weeks, longer than anticipated but that was due to unpredictable weather. Regardless, given everything that was done, it all happened very quickly. The well drillers and Kellam Mechanical, Inc. were in and out of our house in no time. We are extremely pleased with Kellam Mechanical, Inc. and highly recommend them for your heating and cooling needs.

John came out and measured for a new unit. I decided on one after he completely explained my choices and then scheduled a date for a replacement to be installed. This was all during a very humid week, and I called John to see if the crew could come out sooner. Sure enough they came out a day before schedule due to a cancellation! Boy! Was I HAPPY! Dean and Garrett arrived promptly at 8 in the morning. They put protective covering on the entire area where they would be working so the carpet would not get soiled. I was impressed! They worked quietly and efficiently, and I had cool air in about 4 hours. They put a new thermostat in, explained how to use it and left a booklet with further instructions. What a Class organization! From start to finish they did the right thing! Oh, and they removed the $209. from the final bill. I was also able to get on a 12 month payment system with no interest applied! I say Kellam Mechanical all the way! Great experience....Thanks, Guys!

I really recommend this company. They were very prompt, professional and educational. They also had a very reasonable price.

Got home from work and the house was hot. Checked on the outside unit and the fan was running but the compressor was not. Called Kellam and they said that a repairman would contact me shortly. Within 2 minutes Josh called and I explained my problem. He got my address and keyed it into his GPS and said he was 30 minutes away and was on his way. He got there in 30 minutes and within another 5 minutes had identified the issue, a wire had vibrated loose and burned up. He fixed the wire and tested the system and everything was back to normal. I had told him my unit was 19 years old so I fully expected him to tell me that it was time for the big money replacement. Instead I got by for $175. Kellam could have taken advantage of me and sold me a new system but they didn't, and that is why I will call them the next time I need work done.Josh was very personable and professional, clearly enjoyed his job and spoke highly of the company he worked for.

They were very timely and extremely polite and quite. They wore shoe covers while they were in our home. We are extremely pleased. The sales man Jonathan came to make sure everything is installed correctly. If you are not totally satisfied with what is happening in the comfort of your home then they will completely take out the system and replace it within the first year. The two young men that installed the equipment were wonderful. The owner also came out during the installation to make sure everything was going ok. The personal touch was really excellent.
