Cooper's Landscape Management

Met Mr. Cooper when he came to give me an estimate. Very knowledgable and low key. Any question was answered, and he advised me on things I was doing correctly already. No pressure sales and he was more then welcoming to provide ideas that I could do myself rather then pay his company to take care of. They will only provide the services you need and want. No contract equals greater freedom to have done what you want. 1st treatment went well, and just had the 1st round of nutsedge product applied. I normally do this myself, but I was so impressed after talking to him, that I decided to have him set me up for his plans for my yard. From our talking, he has done very well with using only word of mouth, and from what I gather, stands besides his employees as well. This company is pricier then others, but you get what you pay for. To have someone tell you we can do this or you save your money and do it yourself, goes a long ways in today's small business market. If the owner breaks the ingredients of fertilizer down, and tells you what to buy if you don't use his, that tells me he enjoys seeing people take control for themselves. From my first phone call to meeting the owner, I never felt pressured to get a service we didn't need. I highly recommend this company, if not for a seasonal treatment program, then to at least tap some of the knowledge this company has.

It went very well. They are very friendly, they always return phone calls, and they always show up as planned, and they leave the bill in the door as well. They also give additional tips on how to take care of your yard.

We went back and forth with this guy for a long time trying to get him fix the crappy job that he did. He put concrete over existing concrete and it chipped away. Then he added more concrete to extend the pad. So now it is all uneven and the colors aren’t even. We can see original cracks and it is a mess. He never came back to fix it. We actually had another landscaper come and look at it. He said that all the landscape that he had done was poorly planned and that he didn’t grade properly. We went to the Better Business Bureau but he didn’t respond to them. We found them through a company called Service Magic but he blew them off. We wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. The price seemed okay if it would have been what he said it was going to be. But now considering that I have to do a lot of rework and the cost that the other contractor said, which was about $10000 his price was not worth it. He was professional up until he got my money.

Mr. Cooper came out to give his estimate and was very professional. His charm and attitude sold us on selecting his service. Prices were in line with a lot of his competitors but not the cheapest. Six weeks later our lawn looks amazing!

It went very well. The owner is very professional and kind. He brought a binder with pictures of work he has done and I was impressed. We went over the type of treatment that was recommended for my lawn and discussed the price. We agreed that I would get back to him in the future on whether or not to proceed.

They fertilize and seed. They let you know the kind of weeds or if there is anything wrong with your plants. They are very friendly. I think they are doing a wonderful job. In fact, they even let you know when you should let the dog back out so it won't harm you animals. They got us on schedule and they show up and I forgot they were even coming until they get here. They are very well mannered. We have already signed up with them for next year.

Mr Cooper is someone you would be comfortable with having over for dinner. Went through the entire yard and noted all the issues from weeds, thinning grass, fungus and watering issues. Recommended that I do the weed control since the cost for me to do it would be significantly less but he would do it if I wanted. He thought of my costs and offered options to reduce costs if I wanted to take care of some aspects of lawn care. He went over in detail the chemicals, application schedule that they would follow and any potential concerns with regards to pets or children (there were none). Also, if I notice any issues between services to call and they would come out and deal with it. Never had an issue with fungus or weeds the entire yard. They come and performed their work even when I was not around and left me paperwork for the work performed. They recommend fall over seeding for my yard at a very competitive price. I accepted the overseeding and was extremely impressed with the high level of germination. Several areas that have never had grass grow previsously have grass now. Everyone is very polite and none intrusive. They get the job done with outstanding results. If you want that beautiful yard without the headache of appling fertilizer and fungus control and lime and overseeding etc. Mr. Cooper is the person you want.

We will used them again. They were on time. Very responsive. They did not try to push stuff on us that we did not need. Very nice. They are a family run business.

First Treatment went well for broadleaf weeds, $115.00, againg for 10k sq ft. Other things I liked about Cooper's Horticulturist of the Year Board of Trustees Norfolk Botanical Gardens Member of Turfgrass Produces International Top 100 companies in the nation by Landscape Managment magazine. they claim that most lawn care companies spend about 10% of their budget for materals applied. Coopers budgets 60% or more for materials and use quality products to get the best and most enviornentally safe results.

They come out and do the chemical testing in the grass. They tell us exactly what we need and are very comparable in price to the competition. We've been using their service since about July of last year and it is truly making a big difference. We had a lot of dead grass and things to deal with, so most of the time has been spent dealing with that. We are just now getting into the "wow" phase and it really is impressive.

Neighbors ask who I use and have started using Coopers.

Cooper's did a fantastic job! The dry wells that Cooper's installed have completely solved our problem of flooding in our back yard. Cooper's has given us back the use of our yard!

My yard now looks professionally landscaped, and the lawn looks healthy even in winter! They do special quarterly, seasonal care (such as fertilizing) as well as periodic spraying for weeds. If you have scale on your bushes, they have the equipment to be able to spray UNDER the leaves to get to the scale. One plus is that you can get a "package" deal that covers an assortment of tasks, as well as being able to add or subtract from those (like getting treatment for fleas, or not.) You can depend on this company!

They do a good job. I am happy with the service that they provide.

I had Lawn Doctor Service for over two years. My yard went from bad to worse. I requested they not return and then called Mr. Cooper. He made a personal visit to our residence. He looked over the situation and thoroughly explained to me the characteristics of the problems I had with my lawn, and a treatment plan. He explained the equipment that would be used, the precautions that needed to be exercised and everything happened as he stated. We had a slight delay due to Hurricane Irene, however, as soon as the ground allowed, his crew came out and treated the ground, used a machine to break the ground up and reseeded. I had the worst looking lawn in the subdivision and I would venture to say, it is probably one of the best now--30 days later.

So far, excellent results. Gary and staff knowledge is outstanding. On my way to a show lawn!!

Mr. Cooper is a delight to work with! We have just started with his monthly fertilizing/ lawn program. Which is approximately $1300 for the year for our sized lawn. He was the first lawn man that really took the time to explain about the lawn issues. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I am very excited that he will be taking care of our lawn while we move away and rent out our home for the time being. I have also talked to the staff and was very happy with how much time they took to talk to me and explain. So many companies are in and out and don't even take a minute to talk to you.

They make my yard look good. They are expensive but they are great. Somebody recommended them to me 16 years ago when we first moved in and we had nothing but dirt for a lawn. They have created my lawn. For what they do, the price might be the middle of the road but I have no idea because I have never used another landscape company. They come out whenever they need to come out.

They are in charge of keeping the weeds away. They are very personable. I think they are a Mom & Pop shop. I will use them again in the future.

We have been using Cooper's for two years. We chose them because a neighbor used them and their lawn was always beautiful. We had used Tru Green in the past and were becoming dissatisfied. Mr. Cooper came out and gave us an estimate for yearly service. It was a bit higher than Tru Green, but not too much. The difference in their product was immediately evident. We love the personal service we get from the Cooper family and we especially love the compliments from everyone who sees our lawn. Several people on our street are now using Cooper's.

I have been a customer for 10 years. great service, professional and courteous. They are a little more expensive than some lawn care services, but well worth it. I get endless comments about the great appearance of my lawn. I have none of the weed and crabgrass problems of my neighbors.

Called this company for an estimate and Mr. Cooper came out and gave the estimate. I wanted to get some weed kill sprayed in my backyard. Took two weeks before they responded and they showed up with out any appointment confirmation from me that it was ok to show up. they left a message at my work when I was off telling me that they were coming. I called to reschedule and have not heard from them since. Bad coordination and poor communication. I'm glad I did not order any services from this company.

They do a numerous amount of things for people from cutting the grass to spraying. It was a scheduled inspection. I have used them for almost ten years. I love the company. They have taught me things about my garden and such. They give me really good advise.

Cooper's does a very good job with my lawn. They are very professional and they work out just great. The charge may be anywhere from $50 to $120 or even $200 if you want patching done. It really all depends on the size of your lawn. One application usually runs me around $60 which I think that is very fair. I have no complaints with them.
