I was very impressed with Aegis Home Improvement LLC from the very first contact. I called Bernie and made an appointment with him to show him my work projects. He arrived fifteen minutes before our appointment. Bernie walked the projects and said he would email me the quote for the jobs; I had the quote in my inbox the very next day. The quote was very reasonable and I gave them the job. Bernie and his crew showed up to my home on time and were very professional, they even won my wife over and that is not an easy task! Everything turned out very well, we were very pleased with the work that Aegis Home Improvement LLC did for us. Impressed that Bernie not only showed up the day he said he would but he was even a little early, He gave us a great estimate based on what he thought he could try first, because it was expected to take about a half hour. He did say it may not work at which time he would go to his next fix. The second fix worked great but took about an hour, When I asked what I owed him at the finish of the job, he said well I did give you an estimate of $75. I wrote Bernie a check for $125, which I felt was fair to cover his time. The door works fine, Bernie even cleaned up when done. He was a hard worker, and a very honest guy. My daughter"s door is his next job.

This was my first time hiring a handyman and it was a great experience, from the time I contacted them to completion of the job. Bernie Fonger was very professional and knowledgeable of the project. The project was to hang my microwave wall cabinet, install my master bedroom closet doors, hang my bathroom mirror and put up my bathtub towel bar. The phone contact was very professional. We schedule a time for him to come and look at the project. We scheduled the job for two weeks out due to scheduling conflicts for both of us. He arrived on time, went straight to work on my microwave wall cabinet, completed that job in a timely fashion and cleaned up behind himself. He then moved on to the closet doors, got them installed. Did an excellent job. He then put up my towel bar and hung my bathroom mirror. He started at 7 am and finished around 12:45 pm. I am extremely happy with the job and will definitely call him for future jobs. The cost was fair, he communicated throughout; I was well informed.
