Great communication and incredible results. We hired Mayflower to complete a kitchen and living room renovation. Beginning with the design process and throughout construction, we appreciated that there was constant communication, and they were up front about scheduling and pricing. There were no surprises throughout the entire project. If we had a concern, they would let us know and resolve it before we even had the chance to be worried about it. They managed to squeeze us into a tight window just before Christmas and despite supply delays outside of their control, they finished the project on time. Their employees were professional and respectful of our space as we were living in the house during renovations. Throughout the project, the project manager was on site to go over the progress. Nicole and Alex from Mayflower gained our trust from the beginning as we contemplated the changes we wanted to make with our kitchen. Nicole has a flair for design; Alex knows how to get the job done. Their knowledge of the Rotonda and its structure meant they knew what could work and what couldnâ t, and they saved us the headaches of getting permits and approvals from the Rotonda front office. They understood our budget was limited. They advised us where we could save money by using a flooring contractor to put in oakwood floors and made clear as we thought over changes what the costs for each would be. Covid complicated our decisions. Alex and Nicole alerted us to possible delays that we might face due to supply backlogs. Their implementation team was excellent, polite and helpful throughout, working with us to find solutions to small problems as they came up. Despite some Covid delays, the work was completed in a reasonable 5-6 weeks, and they took care of all minor fixes shortly thereafter. All in all, an amazingly pleasant experience!

After having had bad experiences with â cheaperâ home improvement companies, we wanted to work a company that would more actively manage the whole process. Mayflower construction completed a master bath renovation for us and it turned out fantastic. First the company is really easy to work with. We opted to go through the design process because we were making a big change by removing the tub and needed some help in figuring out how to relocate shower etc. They took our ideas and created a great design- offering valuable suggestions all along. Material selection at their showroom was super easy. As for the work itself, they do a great job. The crew is very courteous and takes great care in cleaning up and keeping things secure along the pathway to the project. They are respectful and pleasant which is important since theyâ re in the house all day. Mayflower Construction has a keen attention to detail which is reflected in their work. Thereâ s no cutting corners and everyone is very easy to work with. I appreciate all the check-ins and updates and their swift responses to any questions. And on top of it all, they were one of the cheaper quotes that we got for the renovation so we are overall super satisfied.

We used the Mayflower Construction Group to renovate two bathrooms, one in our bedroom and the other in the second-floor hallway. Both bathrooms were classic 1960 spaces, with old fashioned everything, much of which was falling apart. When at last the knobs on one of the medicine cabinets fell off, we decided to refinance our mortgage and finally upgrade the two spaces. Thankfully we made the right decision by choosing the Mayflower Construction Group to do the work. From beginning to end our experience could not have been better. Mayflower is great for the following reasons: (1) Mayflower offers fixed-priced renovation packages tailored to meet the needs of different sized projects; (2) The packages are not come-ons, there is no need to upgrade materials to get a quality result, although we chose to make upgrades based upon the look we wanted; (3) You are assigned a designer and get as much design help as you need (and we needed a lot). Our designer must have had an advance degree in hand holding; (4) Mayflower does not ask you to sign a contract until your design choices are completed and you are satisfied with the price; (5) Construction starts and ends when promised; (6) The construction crew are Mayflower employees who are supervised by a first-rate project manager; (7) The work area is immaculately cleaned at the end of each day; (8) The project manager and the designer remain constantly in touch with you during construction. Any questions we had were immediately responded to; (9) If you need small changes (we wanted additional electric outlets for example) the change orders are reasonably priced and accomplished without project delay, (10) Mayflower is competitively priced. You are not going to get gorged and there will be no surprise costs during construction, and (11) Finally, and most important you will love your new bathroom. For us, this project involved the largest expenditure we have ever made on a home improvement. I felt uneasy at first about spending this much money and time on a bathroom. Yet, even months after the completion of the work, I remain amazed at the transformation made to these spaces. This was money very well spent.

We just used Mayflower Construction Group for the second time; the first was to completely gut and rebuild a bathroom; this time it was a bathroom renovation. This job was as flawless as the first - - lovely interior decor advice, superlative work, on-time crew, no slow-downs due to missing supplies, etc. Nicole Eaddy was a tremendous help, again, in putting together a plan based on the size and limitations of our bathroom; we went in with an idea of what we wanted, but changed our minds when she showed us some other styles. She is also very easy to reach; no waiting for days or even hours when there is an issue or question. The crew: a great group of very skilled men; their work is painstaking, and just a pleasure to see. They set up plastic barriers to keep dust to a minimum; they cover any floor they might be walking on, and remove any dust and debris before leaving every day. They are also very courteous and pleasant. Supplies: they are ordered BEFORE the job starts, so the work time is continuous; no "sorry, we don't have the (fill in the blank)". Sticking to a deadline: astonishing. The first time we used Mayflower we had a time crunch; a family was coming to stay for almost two months, so we needed to have it done in a short period of time, or put it off. Mayflower assured us they could do the job on time, and they did. We had had a very bad experience years earlier, with a local and very well-known bath and kitchen company; on that job, we were told it would take about 3 months; it actually went on for 18 nightmarish months. Mayflower met their deadlines, and in fact, beat them by a few days each time! To sum up: we wholeheartedly recommend Mayflower Construction Group.

We first met with Nicole to talk through the design and construction process for a kitchen remodel. As we were envisioning the new kitchen, we realized that we wanted to expand the scope of work into the dining and living rooms to make for a more cohesive look and open up a wall for better flow. Nicole was very flexible with us and quickly adjusted the plan and was very conscientious of our budget. For us, the planning process with Nicole was key- she created the renderings of the kitchen and we mocked up our space to really get a feel for the final dimensions. While the planning seemed to go quickly the construction went even faster. The field team, led by Alex and Frank, was wonderful! We cannot speak highly enough of Frank and the team; they were efficient, highly skilled and kept the space really clean, and perhaps most importantly, kept to the timeline. Part of our project was removing older linoleum tiles and replacing with hardwood and Alessandro did a great job of blending new oak flooring with the original 60’s flooring without any seams. Elmer made us a custom iron stair railing that really elevates the space. We will definitely be using the Mayflower team again as we update other aspects of our home because we feel that the pricing was fair and the craftmanship was excellent.

We chose Mayflower Construction to remodel our CondoMaster Bathroom. We had received quotes from other companies, but from the minute we spoke with Mayflower, we were sold. They were extremely warm and seemed truly interested in making our space the best it could be while staying within our budget. They visited our home, walked through the process, and provided several samples from which to choose. We had a few ideas already, and their designer totally knew how to make those ideas a reality. When Day 1 of Reno arrived, they were meticulous and made sure to completely protect our property. The timeline they gave us was spot on, and the final product was, well... Incredible. I will only use Mayflower for future projects.

I purchased a home and was thinking about having a few home improvement areas done before moving in. The kitchen was the biggest and most pressing piece of it, and I found Mayflower based on the great reviews they have online. It's my first time having a remodeling project done, and I will start off by saying that I would certainly go with Mayflower again given my experience. I worked with Nicole on the front end of the project -- design, budgeting, price quote, etc. Nicole was really great to work with, always responsive, attentive with what we prioritized and working within our budget. The only thing that I would say is that it would work best if you have a pretty good idea of what you are looking for rather than hoping to get design ideas or suggestions, because we got the default of having cabinets all around wherever there was space, which ultimately wasn't what we liked stylistically. Nicole was quick in adapting to our preferences and made multiple rounds of changes until we got to the design we wanted. Ryan was our project manager and he was also great to work with. On day 1 of the project we got the unexpected hiccup requiring a change order (note to self in future: learn to pay attention to cabinet toe kick design relative to your previous cabinets, or you may be looking at a surprise flooring job too!), which I wasn't happy about but Ryan made sure to talk me through the reasons and the additional cost was quite reasonable. Most importantly, the additional work didn't add additional days to the project, which I was super grateful for. There were a couple more hiccups over the course but it was clear Ryan prioritizes customer service and satisfaction. The only thing I wish was done better was trying to get the project wrapped up when it was 95% done and we were just missing the crown molding (which needed to be reordered for some reason)... it required a few checks to nail down the completion, but in all fairness we were dealing with snow, supplier timing, and the crew's availability. From a quality perspective, these guys really have done a superb job. I am very happy with our new kitchen and everyone who has seen it complemented on it. I would give them 4.5 stars, but since half stars are not possible, I'll round it up.

When my wife and I moved into our home in early 2014, we knew that the first major renovation project we'd need to tackle was a complete overhaul of the kitchen. As is typical of 1960s Del Ray duplex homes, the original galley kitchen was tiny with very little cabinet storage and counter space. Our wishes were always at the forefront and everything was handled with care, precision, and punctuality, all while coming in under our original budget. The construction team was equally impressive. We decided to leave our house for a month and stay with relatives so that the project could be completed quickly. Even from 500 miles away, we never once worried about any aspect of the renovation because our project manager, Ryan, updated us often with photos and explanations and was always prompt with answers to our questions. It was a stress-free experience. We came home to the kitchen of our dreams with double the amount of storage and counter space plus all sorts of modern luxuries that make the room an oasis now rather than a burden. It is a joy to spend time in there. We have future projects in mind and Mayflower will certainly be our first call when the time comes. I was extremely happy with Mayflower Construction Group. From the first meeting to the final reveal of my bathroom remodel they were responsive, timely and very pleasant to work with. I had a large bathroom project and was uncertain about colors and tile selections. The designer at Mayflower was helpful regarding current trends in bathrooms as well as guiding me toward the right size and color for tile, countertops, mirrors and cabinets. The crew was so great. They worked LONG hours everyday and cleaned up each night. They were so unobtrusive and quiet, I could not believe it. I felt completely comfortable having them in the house for several weeks. There were some special things that the Mayflower team did as well. They built a custom cabinet to match my vanity for me, at a very reasonable price. I could not have bought a cabinet for what they charged me to build it. In addition, Mayflower really helped me by getting the job done prior to the holidays, so I could host my family and not have construction items around. I know this caused their crew to work extra hours and I was very grateful that they were willing to do it. Their pricing was in line with other vendors that I talked to. I felt totally comfortable throughout the entire process. It was such a good experience, I'm looking at redoing my kitchen ! If I decide to do that, I will definitely use Mayflower Construction Group again.

Mayflower Construction Group (MCG) was the fourth renovation team we spoke with and we are so pleased that we kept searching until we found it. MCG is a design-build firm and from initial meetings with the designer, Nicole, to working with the project manager, Alex, our experience was excellent. Nicole was a great listener who offered creative solutions and gave us a clear plan. We liked that if we did not decide to move forward with the design, we could buy it for a reasonable price. Other firms asked for much greater up-front design fees that cannot be recuperated and they wonâ t give you the plans! The work crew led by Francisco was brilliant. They were so hard-working and were true craftsmen. We have an older home that has settled, but the team had the skill to make everything look square and tight. They cleaned up every day and were always courteous and careful not to damage any part of the house. Alex runs a tight ship and we saw him frequently checking for quality. We could tell the construction team respects him. Neighbors were impressed that the teams worked from early morning till evening every day including Saturdays. One thing we learned (our first home and first reno) was that it is useful to consider not only the tile selection that MCG has in its show room, but also visit dedicated tile stores if you want to see more options. A bonus for doing the renovation was that we discovered ruined subflooring after the old shower had been removed. The team not only replaced the sub-floor, but later opened the ceiling downstairs to ensure that the joists were completely dry and in good shape. We appreciated that extra care and recommend MCG to other homeowners. MCG demonstrated to us that it is an honorable, skilled renovation firm.

You always hear horror stories about renovations but honestly, MCG made the project seem like a breeze with their open and expeditious communication style. The MCG team, from the design to the final walkthrough, have been extremely helpful, courteous and professional. I chose Mayflower Construction Group based upon the recommendation of a friend. My master bathroom and half bath were in need of renovation. They were the original from 30 years ago. The project manager came to the house and explained the process. I then went to the showroom to pick out materials. The project manager was helpful and willing to share her expertise when I was undecided. A contract was signed and the work was quickly scheduled. The workers are very diligent. They keep to a schedule, work independently and they are trustworthy. I was able to stay at home during the renovation process. The workers are considerate and take precautions to protect your walkways and personal belongings. I was nervous about the final product as this was my first renovation but I was completely pleased with the result. The renovations modernized and brightened the bathrooms making them appear larger.

Project was stared on time and finished within a reasonable schedule. Some materials were shipped incorrectly by a supplier, but I was notified immediately of the problem, the solution, and the estimated time effects. The crew was professional and respectful. They took the appropriate protective measures regarding the traffic areas that they were going to use and quickly addressed any trouble areas that occurred. During the final inspection, the representative noticed flaws that I had not noticed and had his team address them. I'm satisfied with the final product and am enjoying my new bathroom. They're a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

In short, it needed to be totally renovated. I researched several remodeling companies and chose Mayflower based on their willingness to work with our budget as well as the designer's ability to help me find a vision for the bathroom. There were four areas in which I think the group excelled: 1. Designing a bathroom with features that were in our price range and that fit with our preferences. Nicole helped me choose fixtures and materials that really suited both my taste and budget. She didn't push me toward the more expensive options (unless I had wanted that, but she identified different ranges to better plan the design). She was attentive, listened well, and with the project manager, Alex, came up with a practical, stylish design using the existing footprint of our bathroom. This leads to my next point 2. We were able to save some money on the project by mostly using the original bath footprint. Alex also consulted us when we needed to replace something or could use the old one if still in good condition (for example, our main bathroom door was just painted rather than replacing it with a new one). With Alex and Nicole's input, we decided where we wanted to spend more money or saving it based on our choices and preferences. I felt they were honest and trustworthy during the whole renovation process. 3. The renovation crew worked diligently each day and did a high-quality job. They covered stairs/flooring and any furniture/belongings (with temporary plastic walls) so as not spread dust or dirt during the demo. Each day they cleaned up the work area and vacuumed before they left. Some days they stayed late until they finished their tasks and also came some Saturdays if they were meeting a deadline. They were respectful and kind, and the end result was fantastic. 4. Our project manager, Alex, was available during the entire renovation so if we had any questions or concerns, he was on call for support. He kept us updated and aware of the schedule so we knew what to expect and handled a few minor hiccups with reassurance and calm. The whole team followed through on their parts. For all these reasons, we would highly recommend Mayflower Construction Group to anyone considering a renovation.
