He is terrible, he did not finish the job before starting a new one.

Worst contractors ever. First off Mr Lee promised use that the work would be done in 2 weeks but for contract purposes he had to put 4 weeks. Here we are 4 weeks and 2 days later everything is not done. He told us that the permit fees from DCRA would be 6500. Low and behold we contacted DCRA to find out what the fees are. Lol the building permit is $88. Not only that the Permit it self has the price on it. Which was a little over 243 dollars. My Grandma house is small and we wanted to get the bathroom remolded along with the pipes replaced in the house. This mans contract is so unprofessional. He charged us for dumpster that he never got for the property. Only reason why I know is because I stopped by the house every day to take pictures of the progress. I go on a Saturday and no one was there. I asked why he says we dont work on the weekends. Ive never heard of that. Also last Saturday when he came by the house to collect another check I told him he would not receive another dime until we go over the contract and everything is done. He told me well my guys are at another project in NW DC. I thought they didnt work on the weekends. The guys that came by was pretty upset that they had to come by and finish up some work. I would point out the issues and the guy would say No contact Mr Lee!!!!!! Really!!!!!!! There was strews still protruding out of the walls in the bathroom, a hole over top of the vanity mirror that was not closed up, drywall missing from the ceiling in the basement, the garbage disposal was not hooked up. Like my grandmother is bed ridden and she is just looking at the way the guys was acting and was very disappointed. My grandma is in the dining room because we were told by the fire department to move her there. It was cold on Saturday. They would come in and out the back door right were she is and would leave the door open with the storm door propped open, the basement door as well. I had to get on them and tell them shes in that area so keep that door closed when you go out and we also have pets. I really thought when we hired this contractor we made a good decision. He presented his self so well on that first sit down with him. Had his license badge on him with his laptop and acted like he was a compassionate person who saw my mom and myself trying to do something good for my grandma. Lies!!!!!!!! Please shop around and contact your local government office to find out the accurate fees for services for permits.

He took two months to remodel bathroom and the work done was awful. I was sorry that I hired him. The plumber that was sent out did a good job. The other people he had working for him were terrible and unskilled. The owner put up a medicine cabinet that then fell down as it was only caulked and was not screwed into the wall. The project started June 30th and did not finish until August 26th.

This is one of the best experiences I ever have had with an installation/repair service. The owner was extremely responsive to my needs, making several efforts to reach me to schedule the job. The young installer arrived early, was exceptionally pleasant and polite, installed the new dryer after removing the old one and cleaning the area. He was quiet and efficient and made a point of showing me everything I needed to know once the dryer was installed. I can not recommend this company highly enough. Dr. Gail C. Weigl

They sent someone who was unable to read English in the manual so they needed me to translate. And they took one of the materials accidentally, and I had to go to the seller and get more of it. I think they are trying hard but they need to improve.

He is dishonest, he never started the job and he never refunded the amount of the money that was paid for. He collected the deposit that he was unqualified and was not able to preform the job legally, no license.

They arrived, found the cooktop was installed incorrectly (that wasn't in their scope of work but was appreciated). For installing the retractable vent, they found it was too large for the cabinet, so that work couldn't be accomplished. Our fault, not theirs.

Expensive, but worth it. LH Construction was very accommodating, completed the work in a timely manner, and did a good job. Communication was excellent,

The contractor was and experienced professional. Yet when installing our above the stove microwave, he chose to ignore the manufacturers template and "eye out" the place to drill the hole in the cabinet floor to screw in the long 3" screws to secure the microwave. He misjudged, and now the screw is "angled" into the floor of the cabinet rather than "flush". Also, He removed 3 wall electrical face plates to connect 3 sconces. Total time: 30 minutes. Total cost: $75 per sconce ($225). Does this seem high?

Service was performed well and promptly.

He came out same day and didn't charge us because the part we thought needing replacement was not defective afterall.

Hired to replace a garbage disposal. Felt the labor cost was a little on the high end but that got a good deal on the disposal itself so it mostly balanced it out. Very responsive via text and once the job was scheduled, everything went smoothly and the disposal works great. Online payment system is also a plus.

The cost of labor to install a garbage disposal was too high $130.00. I was charged an additional $55 for a very minor pipe change. I know traffic is difficult, but the time of arrival kept changing from 4:30 until finally arriving at 7:00 p.m. Installer was pleasant to talk to during the install, but the deal making for higher prices was frowned upon.

I was very disappointed to have to work with LH construction. They did not show up for my appointment that I initially scheduled. The second appointment, which we reluctantly scheduled in the evening, they were very late in arriving (over 45 minutes), and the work took much longer than it should have, keeping us up past our normal bed time. A simple garbage disposal replacement should have taken no more than an hour, but took over an hour 1and a half (after the late arrival). Additionally, after leaving finally, they came back about half an hour later, after we had all but gone to bed, to say they had forgotten to do something. So we had to stay up another 15 minutes or so for him to complete the job. I would definitely not recommend their service. The quality of the actual plumbing, I can't say much about, because I'm not very handy myself, but it seems fine so far (no leaks).

The positive reviews posted are likely the result of a trouble-free straight forward job that was easy for Lee where he could finish on time to maximize his profit. This is normally the case and in these situations he is happy and performs well. I saw the other side of Lee where a very small job got the tiniest bit complicated and he was ready to walk off the job leaving it unfinished. My rental property in Sterling required a new garbage disposal and we only needed installation as the new unit was ordered and already there. Upon arrival, in a rushed manner, Lee started dismantling everything without checking to make sure the new disposal was the correct unit. Not a required step, but just something that should be done by a professional. When he finally got around to the new unit he noticed it was corded when it should have been hard wired. He called irate and explained the problem stating that he was already over his allotted time. He wanted to install a shoddy outlet for way too much which i declined and asked him to just go to Home Depot (7 minutes away) and obtain the proper unit. He refused and said he already lost too much time on the project and was leaving. I related that he cannot just leave the sink disassembled and had to put the old disposal back on. He refused but quickly came to his senses, put it back together and left. Not a good resolution. Just know what your getting here. An amateur handyman that can do simple jobs and will leave you high and dry if the smallest thing goes wrong. Plenty of other options out there and I have found much better. I prefer sticking with retired military guys who are disciplined and honorable.

Job not yet completed, but so far, so good. They are knowledgeable, prompt, thorough and skilled in all facets of home repair/home construction. Would hire again for my next job.
