They were on time and took care of everything very quickly and thoroughly. Was very happy with them and will use them again!

We have a sprinkler system by Hydr-Tech and refer them all the time. All my clients are very happy with them. This is a 15 year relationship as they did our first house 15 years ago.

Chris is everything you would want--Someone who looks art the whole landscape, just not a particular issue--and corrects problems that I was never aware of--I am so thrilled to have this level of care and concern for my yard. I have also been extremely happy with their technicians--I am particularly thinking of Darwin, who always makes certain that all the sprinkler heads are doing exactly what they should be doing. Both Chris and Darwin--no matter how much time it takes, their foremost concern is getting the job done right!!!!

Hydro-Tech is a tad bit expensive but well worth the extra money due to the quality of their work and professionalism!. Last winter, I had my winterization scheduled for a Monday in November and a week prior, we had a freeze and my pipes burst. Luckily, the back-flow preventer did not get damaged. I should start by saying that my system was installed by Eco Lawn and Sprinkler. Terrible company! When HT came out to winterize, they informed me that my whole system was built with the wrong piping. Also, the back-flow preventer valve was not removable. Not a big deal but being such an expensive device, it's good to be able to bring the valve indoors during the winter. HT does this automatically with their installations. Also, because of the ridiculous way Eco ran the piping, my back-flow preventer now sits almost 6' off the ground. No way around it. Because of the height, HT had to use copper piping. Now, my system is setup the way it should've been from the beginning. There's a moral here. I tried to save money going with the cheaper guys. In then end, I had to deal with a lot of aggravation, I have a system using the wrong piping and had to spend quite a bit of money having HT getting my system as close to the way it should be as possible. If I had payed a bit more and had HT do the sprinklers to begin with, I wouldn't be in this position. Lesson learned.

All went well, still some work to be done. Yoni Wiss met with us twice to go over the project. Helped us make the right decision. He scheduled the project around some landscaping work which will be done in early August. The crew finished part 1 in one day as promised. Obviously there is a lot of work involved with digging the pipe lines, sprinkler heads, etc and some visible marks were left, but much less than expected. Crew did a nice job cleaning up. Part 2, drip lines, is in August. Looking forward to it! Very satisfied!!

I have been using them for many years. I have an annual maintenance agreement with them. I use them because they are the ones who installed my sprinkler system.

It was excellent. I spent around $4000. They had great service, they installed the whole thing in one day and it's worked great.

As usual technician showed up on time. Thorough and efficient, he replaced 14 leaking rotors (the most expensive parts in my 11 zone system). I am told this is not unusual for a six year old system subject to frequent use in the warmer months, winter freezes etc. Hydrotech performed the initial installation in 2008 and I have contracted with them for winterization and spring turn on and adjustments each year since then. They have always done excellent work, are punctual, and frequently perform little "extras" at no cost.

They did an excellent job. They were there on time with a large crew (10). They told me what they were going to do and then they did it. The system was installed to my satisfaction and fully tested before they left. Besides their quality work, the workers were friendly and courteous and the site was totally cleaned up before they left. I could not even find a cigarette butt left in the grass. They were a little more expensive than the other bids I received but the value I received was by far the best. I was very pleased with the project and would recommend them for anyone.

From start to finish they did a great job. From the estimate all the way through installation I couldn't have been more pleased with the service and quality of work. They have since been responsive to any questions and for turn-on/turn-off service requests.

Hydro Tech installed my irrigation system and has been doing the maintenance since at about 2008. My system stopped working and I was told that the control box blew out in a storm. I talked, or tried to talk, with the service person, Mike, about the situation. What I wanted to understand was whether or not there was something I could/should do when I installed a new controller to help ensure that it would not blow out again in a storm. I have a wooded yard and this area has a fair number of storms, so I thought it was a reasonable question. Mike seemed angry with my questions and seemed to think I only wanted to put blame on his company. I wanted to know exactly what happened and possible solutions to avoid it happening again. I know I have to replace my controller. I have been a paying customer for years with no incidents, but the first time I want a conversation about my system, Mike was neither cooperative nor polite. He basically told me he was the expert. I was not sure if that meant he did not feel he needed to take the time to explain things to me. I called manufacturer of the controller, Hunter, and talked with a technical person. This person spent about 30 minutes on the phone with me explaining the system and what system would probably work as a replacement. He spent time explaining (as Mike did) that usually only commerical users like golf courses use controllers with surge protection. However, unlike Mike, he also explained how The first company that I called to give me an estimate on a new controller confirmed that a new one should be gounded and that the one I had was not grounded.

They came out and gave me a good estimate but I have used them in the past outside of Angie’s List. The quote was about $5000. They were very professional. They called before they came and they came on time. The team was well dressed and presented themselves well.

Work went great - the techs were very knowledgeable and efficient.

The company scheduled a time between 7 am and 12 pm, however, they told me that they would call me 30 minutes before the technician arrived. I told them to call me at my work and I would be there within 30 minutes. I got a phone call mid-morning on the day of service. The technician told me that he was at my home and no one was answering the door! I told him that I was supposed to get a call 30 minutes before he got there. He said nothing! I told him I would be there in 20 minutes. He told me that he could not wait for me, that he had another call to go to! I left it at that and figured the company did not do as they said they would do. Here's the real kicker. THREE DAYS LATER I GET A BILL FROM HYDRO-TECH IRRIGATION, CO. IN THE MAIL FOR A $35.00 "MISSED APPOINTMENT CHARGE"!!!!! What kind of RIP-OFF is this! HYDRO-TECH IRRIGATION, CO., this is the worst example of customer service and poor business practices I?ve ever seen! How dare you charge me for your mistake! Is this how you treat potential new customers? You should be ashamed of yourself!!!!! UPDATE: The company called me a couple of times after my review to apologize. They said that the technician made a mistake and that I would not be charged. I went ahead and rescheduled. They promised me that the tech would be out first thing in the morning and he definitely was. He adjusted the system and checked a potential leak but concluded it was just an accumulation of ground water. Charge for about 45 minutes of work was $100.00.

The quality of the work went well. The experience was good.

They did a great job, from estimate to execution. Very professional. We have continued to use them for regular spring and fall maintenance.

.Apparently a big misunderstanding. Hydrotech informed me they charged me for the missed appointment to get my attention an alert me they had stopped by my home, then removed the missed appointment fee. They did turn on my irrigation system, so my lawn is now florishing and I'm a happy homeowner.

They are all kind and taught us how to use the irrigation system that they have installed. Overall, they have an A score.

One of the items installed was an automatic rain gauge which was supposed to receive radio signals from a remote location to tell the irrigation system exactly how much water was needed at a given time. It didn't work all that well last year and this year the company which made it went out of business. When HydroTech learned of this (they had no warning from the manufacturer), they came out, installed a different system at no cost to us, and then had one of that manufacturer's reps come out and do the fine tuning. It works well now and I appreciate their professionalism.

They arrived on time, even though it was cold and rainy, inspected the system, installed the back-flow, and replaced two sprinkler heads. Noticed the back-flow was leaking and called the office. They rescheduled and sent someone within a couple of days. The technician discovered a tiny (and I mean tiny) rock that was causing the problem (saved me $900.00 for a new back-flow). System is up and working great!

After just a week, we could barely even tell our lawn had been touched by the installers! Landscaping was dug up carefully and replaced well. The crew ensured proper coverage for our plants and lawn, and the foreman took the time to demonstrate the system. A couple weeks later, we had an issue with a zone sticking open. We contacted our rep and he gave instructions on what to do to shut it off, and then came out multiple times that same day to help resolve the issue. Other than this, we have had zero issues and are 110% satisfied with the whole project. Wow irrigation really does make a difference for your landscaping! FYI, It was early spring when we sought out bids; keep in mind that YMMV with price and speed based on the time of year.

Excellent. i have used HydroTech for many years. They have always been very professional and responsive. I especially like that they communicate what they've done and what they need to do. This year's service required multiple trips due to the repairs needed and parts ordered. They did their usual great job. Mike, the service manager, is an all-star. He always responds quickly to my questions. I highly recommend HydroTech.

I had a great experience with Hydro-Tech. We renovated a soccer field in Fairfax VA and hired Hydro-Tech to install an irrigation system for us. Yoni Wiss, Hydro-Tech representative, did a wonderful job. He walked me through the process, explained exactly what is going to be done and what to expect. He was very responsive and was always available for assistance via email, phone and even in person. The job was done in a timely fashion and was completed according to schedule. I strongly recommend hiring Hydro-Tech for any irrigation-related jobs and asked to work directly with Yoni Wiss.

A previous company had been out to repair a different problem with the backflow and in the process weakened another part that finally gave way a few days later. Instead of returning to the incompetent company who caused more problems every time they came out, I decided to try another one. It was difficult to find someone who could come out in a timely fashion during the busy season. Hydro-tech came out and quickly found the problem and the likely cause of it and repaired it. The work was done so quickly, we still had time on the service call, so instead of just leaving, Nicholas Crenshaw stayed and re-inspected the entire backflow while I watched to ensure there were no other problems. I recommend the company for its thorough and professional service.

A service manager did call later to explain that Hydrotech has experienced difficulty in obtaining payment for services rendered and thus service representatives are encouraged to obtain payment at the time of service but not necessarily prior to completing the service.
