Anabela did a great job restoring an old amateur painting of a relative and restoring/repairing an old frame for it. She then made the framed painting suitable for hanging by adding matting and glass. The 85 year old newspaper was a lot more difficult because it had some staining, a tear, a crease and missing text. I was amazed that Anabela was able to repair the damage and create clean prints of the photo. She then matted and framed the prints. She was able to complete this in a short amount of time just before Christmas and did an excellent job. She is a perfectionist and her prices are very fair. I highly recommend!

Kudos to Anabela for a job well done! Almost 50 years ago, my uncle served in Vietnam. I sent him a class picture and he had a Vietnamese artist do a portrait from the photo. When I received the portrait, I was too young to appreciate it; my mother, on the other hand, thought it was beautiful and she proudly displayed it in the living room. As time marched on, the portrait ended up in closets and storage facilities. Recently, I stumbled upon the portrait once again. It was an aging forlorn work of art, complete with tears in the cloth and badly soiled. I thought restoration was impossible. I was going to trash it but a small voice from within uttered that I should consider saving it. I did an exhaustive search of restoration specialists - they are few and far between - and I found Anabela Ferguson. From our initial telephone conversation until the time Anabela returned the restored piece to me, she demonstrated unparalleled professionalism. Anabela came to my residence and picked up the portrait and explained to me what she would do to restore the piece, the price for services rendered and the length of time to complete the task. Along each step of the way, she kept me informed of how the project was progressing. Anabela takes enormous pride in her work and she has a customer-centric focus, so once the restoration was complete she turned her attention to an appropriate frame for the portrait. She sent PDF's of frame options as she sought my input. NOTE: The frame, liner and UV-resistant glass would have been far more expensive had I gone to a framer on my own. I settled on a lovely frame that Anabela also recommended because it complemented the colors in the portrait. The project was completed ahead of time and on budget. Anabela delivered the portrait along with a DVD that details the renewal process. I wish my mother was alive to see the wonderful transformation. I will gladly recommend Anabela to anyone who is in need of art restoration. Once again, well done!

We had purchased a painting from Ms Anabela during the Holidays. I loved her paintings so much that she agreed to give me painting lessons! The lessons consisted of 4 days and she went as long as I could stand. She is full of knowledge and was very eager to share all of it with me. I learned everything from properly using and cleaning paint brushes, knives, different styles of painting (impasto, abstract, etc.) and even how to make my own canvas! I hope to get more lessons in the future.

My husband purchased a painting as a Christmas present for me from Ms Anabela. I had seen her at the Huntsman Square and admired all of her work. After I picked my painting she was very helpful in explaining how to care for it and properly transport it. She also shared advice on the proper lighting. The painting is proudly displayed in my dining room.

It was such a great experience! The lessons were one on one, so she only focused on me the entire time. She showed me everything she knows from making my own canvases to preparing them, and painting. I was taught different styles like abstract, and impasto. Since then I have painted a few on my own, something I would have never done with youtube videos alone. Ms Anabela is such a patient person and is ready to share all her knowledge with you. In the future, I will gladly ask her for more lessons!!

Ms Ferguson is great at what she does. She ensured I was aware on how to properly care of the painting (lighting, cleaning etc.) and was provided with a receipt that guarantees its authenticity. She mounted the painting on a beautiful frame and ensured all I had to do was put a nail on the wall and hang it. It is proudly displayed in my kitchen.

My daughter inherited a rare Barbara Hepworth print that is contained in several museum collections and is quite valuable. But my mother had framed it rather cheaply 40 years ago. So we wanted to have it reframed with an acid-free mat, museum quality glass and wood frame. Our regular framer had retired and so we found Anabela Ferguson on Angie's List. She came to our home with many different mat and framing options, as well as excellent suggestions. She gave us an Angie's List discount. Within a week, she had expertly framed the print. We were quite happy with her service and responsiveness.

My wife and I had a painting from 1973 that appeared to have faded and lost most of its color. I found Anabela at an art showing at Huntsman Square shopping center. She also did art restoration. We brought the painting to her for an evaluation. She said that she would take it back to her studio for closer evaluation, and that she would call us in a couple of days. .She called the very next day, we set an appointment to meet her back at Huntsman for an explanation of what was involved and the cost. We meet and decided to use her services. The cleaning only took a few short weeks. She stayed in contact with us though out the process giving us updates. She would also text updates with pictures of her progress. The picture as it turned out was very dirty. It had hung over our fireplace for years, and had accumulated quite a bit of smoke damage, thus the lose of color. After she had cleaned the picture, most of the color was restored. The painting had never had any varnish on it to help seal it. Anabela applied two coats of varnish to seal and help protect it in the future. Her very careful attention to detail restored the painting back to its original beauty. She also provided us with DVDs of photos and videos of the process of restoring our painting. Another part of the restoration process was to replace the old frame which had badly discolored over time. Since we were already paying for the restoration, she did the framing at cost. She had many choices of framing to choose from. She did a perfect job of framing and properly sealing the back with dust protector paper. I would highly recommend her for any restoration or repair work on your paintings.

Her professional and artistic touches are beyond reproach. Whether filling in paint that had crackled away or removing decades of dirt and grime. She has added value and appeal to my pieces of art and I will continue to use her as I buy more. Her restoration abilities are technical and perfect and when you add in her artistic abilities she is a one-stop shop for repair and restoration. I couldn't be more satisfied!

I considered her pricing very reasonable. I am truly pleased with the finished product. Anabela demonstrates her expertise very quickly and consults well to satisfy the client?s needs. I recommend her and will use her for any future art needs.

I brought an old, beloved print that needed to be rematted and reframed. Anabela helped me choose mat colors and a frame that would bring out the best in my old print. She completed the job in less time than the estimate she gave me and she did a BEAUTIFUL job. I am very happy with the project. I am also a proud owner of one of Anabela's original art pieces that I purchased about 10 years ago. She is very talented!

Anabela works very hard to please her customers ! She kept us updated along the way, and even made a video of the pouring and painting process. The video was so exciting to watch and it made the paintings even more special. Anabela puts her whole heart into her creations. She is a delight! We hope to purchase more of her artwork in the future! In the past, she also did a wonderful restoration of an older, damaged painting that we had. So we trust her work very much!

Just a wonderful experience!!!!! First of all used the Angies List Coupon for $75.00 off and she was located close to my house. The painting I brought her was very very soiled and dirty probably from cigarette smoke. Anabela cleaned the painting a quite a few times until she was able to get the yellow varnish off. She sent me email updates and showed her progress. She did a totally professional job and the painting was fabulous. What a difference getting it cleaned made looks so much better!!!!! She also provided a written description by email of the work she did so I would have a written record of what was done. I would recommend her to anyone who has an artwork that needs restoration or cleaning. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Anabela did a magnificent job. We discussed the work in her studio for over an hour so that I could explain to her what I was looking for, and so that she could provide me information about technical issues concerning the effects that different types of pair would have, for example. The final product fulfilled all of my high hopes for this project, and then some! This is no small feat since doing art on blinds I'd not a walk in the park! I have four Japanese woodblock prints that are circa the 1950s and purchased by my parents while in Japan. They are significant heirlooms but needed some care and improved framing and matting, so I contacted Anabela Ferguson. I knew of her because I had purchased some artwork from her and knew she had expertise in art restoration and framing. I called her and set up an appointment to meet with her to see what could be done with the prints. We decided that 2 prints needed new mats, glass and frames, which I selected with the assistance of Anabela. The other 2 prints needed to be rematted but we were able to use the old glass and frames for them. During the entire process, Anabela handled the prints with utmost care and respect, so I knew my art was in good hands. The framing etc of the prints was completed within about 3 days and they are magnificent, the color of the mats on all 4 prints complement the artwork and I believe the value and appearance of the prints has been enhanced dramatically. I could not be more pleased with the work and outcome of the project.

Her work is outstanding. She is, in my opinion, a major talent. She works not only in oil paints but also in watercolor and acrylic, pastels. She creates amazing art on plexiglas and copper. She creates the perfect frames for her work. I took some oil painting lessons from Anabela and came away feeling that I could create an oil painting; she doesn't teach you to produce a duplicate of her work but, rather, encourages you to become your own artist. Excellent! I'll be spending my extra money on Anabela art! Before I'm through, I'll probably need an Anabela art gallery! Anabela also finds time to do art restoration. I don't know where she finds the time because she is not only an artist but also a saleswoman and adman!

Anabela took extra steps to give me an unexpected treasure from my deceased sister. She was as delighted as I was to do this work. By the way, I have several original watercolors from Anabela. I change some of them seasonally, and others are permanently on display. She is a very talented artist who continues to grow in her field. ( I do not recall the cost of this work, but it was very reasonable)

Anabela did a fantastic job. She was very flexible from the first meeting location to delivery. Throughout the process she kept me well informed on each step and even provided me with a DVD on the more involved piece. They are both proudly hanging in our house now and we plan on using her for future work.
