Air Duct Maids

They were punctual, courteous and thorough, taking a walking tour of the house and explaining the process and duration of what the service covered. Although it was relayed that in order to clean the trunk line a hole would need to be cut in the trunk line, I was not prepared for so many or such large holes. There were two -8 inch holes and 3 -1 inch holes cut in the sheet metal. That was not acceptable. However, overall ADM did a decent job.

They were great. The value of the work compared to the price was good.

They were pretty good, i think that their cleaning is good but their man who was supposed to put the vent covers back on didn't put a couple on. They had to come back and they still didn't do it right, i had to hire somebody else to come and screw it in the proper way because i didn't have the right kind of screw driver to do it. They seemed very responsible until i went around and checked and saw a couple of my dumpster not been re-put on properly. The price was doubled because i have two systems i guess and then they added something extra to my air conditioning system which was something to make it cleaner.

They did an excellent job. They used a whip on the air hose which disloged all the gunk from the ducts and they had a huge suction hose from the furnace to the truck which sucked out all the dirt. They were very professional and explained everything in detail, were very puntual. Took great care to keep the house clean......putting booties over their shoes every time the came in. The took off all duct covers and took them out side and cleaned them with air pressure. I saw pictures of before and after so I'd know for sure they were clean. They were quite fun to talk to, as well. I had one register in the kitchen that various people, including myself, tried to get the screws all the way into and couldn't. Those screws haven't been all the way in for many years. This guy did it with NO PROBLEM! I was thrilled to pieces. I would highly recommend this company. Their prices are very good, the girl in the office is really nice and constantly kept me updated. I ordered some filters from them and they were delivered promptly.

I first spoke to Tiffny regarding information on their services, their process and cost. She was extremely help, polite, professional and friendly. She did an excellent job in explaining what will be done and how. Scheduling service was made easy. Vinny and Joe arrived earlier than scheduled which was great! They called ahead to make sure it wouldn?t be an inconvenience to me if they arrived earlier than expected. Once the team arrived, Vinny explain the entire process to me thoroughly then they went to work. The team was very respectful of the house and put down drop clothes and wore booties to cover their shoes. Everything seemed perfect when they left. Later that day I started hearing what sounded like a popping sound that got progressively worse. By the weekend it was almost unbearable. Anytime the heat would turn on, it sounded like popcorn was being pooped in the vents. It was so loud and disturbing that it was hard to sleep at night. Since it was the weekend, I waited until Monday to give Air Duct Maids a call. Of course, it was the Monday that we had a snowstorm so I wasn?t expecting anyone to answer. Tiffany answered my call and was so helpful. She said she couldn?t get someone out there that day but could the next morning between 8-9am. Vinny, Rich and Ali arrived at 8:20 the next morning. They re-opened the system to see if they could identify the problem. It turned out to be 2 small pieces of paper/labels that were half stuck to the vent and half flapping in the vents. They removed the paper and the house was peaceful at last! Everyone I dealt with at Air Duct Maids was friendly and professional. Tiffany was super when it came to scheduling the service and when I called back with the noise problem. Vinny and his crew were wonderful too. I found other deals that were a little cheaper than what I spent with Air Duct Maids but their customer service is excellent and I feel their service was worth the extra cost.

I can't say enough great things about this company. The crew, led by Doug, was highly professional and worked extremely hard. They went above and beyond right off the bat by showing up on one of the snowiest days of the winter when most of the region was shut down. They also were extremely respectful of my home and kept it as clean as they could given the snow, and then cleaned up thoroughly before they left for the day. They also patiently talked me through all the details of the work they did. The Aeroseal work performed was nothing short of revolutionary for my home. According to the test they ran, my ducts had a 40% leakage rate before the procedure (apparently, that's about typical) and at the end the leakage rate was only about 2%. More importantly than the numbers, my house now heats up several degrees in 30 minutes or so instead of several hours (or not at all). Overall, I'm very happy with the work performed and have already recommended Air Duct Maids to friends.

They were alright they did not clean up as well as they should have.

The service was performed as advertised. The workers were friendly and punctual. They were not, however, careful when putting everything back together. Almost all of my vent covers were broken or jammed when they left. On the bright side, the management for this company is VERY responsive, and VERY focused on customer satisfaction. The crew was sent back the same night to unjam/fix/replace the vent covers. Unfortunately, time has again revealed that ceiling vents were inadequately mounted, and the flow levers were broken off, and stuffed back in to appear intact. Again, management was quick to offer a remedy. I chose not to have them come back...again. Perhaps I caught them on a bad night, or ended up with one bad apple.....but no matter how great the management, after three rounds, I still have three broken vents. Plan to go with someone else next time.

They did a great job. I saw another company offering it for about 20% less, but eh- that's life. They did a great job. No complaints.

Tim and his crew did an amazing job cleaning our air ducts today. He was very informative and his entire crew were very professional. We were so impressed that we invited him back to perform the aeroseal duct sealing. His test showed that we were losing almost 50% of our air flow due to duct leakage.

It was fine. It was a very professional company. They were prompt and they performed the job as advertised. They were very responsive. I don't know if I will use them again because I don't know if the service was useful. It's not that I would not use Air Duct Maids, if I were to have it done, I would use them.

That turned out just fine. They came out a couple days after purchasing the deal. 3 cleaners came out and it took them about and hour and a half to two hours. They also cleaned the dryer vents too for $99.00. He offered that service while he was there. When they did the dryer vents they cleaned the back of them and the floor too. I was impressed that he took the extra time to clean that for me.

Good communication before job started, arrived on time (in fact, arrived early) and worked very hard to make sure job was finished when promised. Involved (for each system), sealing all vents, pressurizing the vents, measuring leakage (at a standard pressure), sealing leaks that were visible from outside and inserting "aeroseal" vapor into systems. After drying, vent systems again tested for leakage at the same pressure the initial evaluation was done. The results were: downstairs system return: initial leakage 170 CFM; leakage after sealing, 3 CFM. downstairs system supply side: initial leakage 336 CFM; leakage after sealing, 3 CFM. Upstairs system Supply side; initial leakage 201 CFM; leakage after sealing, 2 CFM. Upstairs system Return side; initial leakage 96 CFM; leakage after sealing 2 CFM. This was a long work day and a job that could have resulted in a very bad mess, but, Douglas and his team were very careful to do an complete clean up. It was a pleasure to have them in our house. They were very careful to keep doors closed to make sure our pets did not get to play escape artist and they also did a very good job of communicating what they were doing and why. By the way, the company provides a 20 yr warranty that says; if you have a problem, call and we will re-measure (at no cost) your house. If you have a leakage increase greater than 10%, we will redo the leaking system. Long and short of it: The team was great. They knew their job, kept us well informed of their progress, and did a great job of insuring the that our house was clean before they left. No question, the treatment is a little costly, but worth it. In the next couple of years, we hope to see improvements in our heating/cooling system fuel consumption. The house already "feels" better because there appear to be significantly fewer drafts and room temperatures do not vary as much as they used to.

Wanted this done after the renovation of a bath, with all of the dust. To our surprise, the technician told us that we had dirty dryer vents, in an attempt to include that in the package. Interestingly enough, we had just had our dryer vents cleaned 2 months prior, by a firm on Angie's list. So, either the first firm did not do the job; or the Air Ducts was trying to upsell. We purchased the cleaning of the dryer vent, AGAIN, just as insurance. Needless to say, this senario gave us great pause.

Every aspect of the job was done well. Prior to the work date, coordination was good and we knew when they were coming and what to expect. The crew was very sensitive to our need to keep our pets inside and helped chase down a few "wantabe escape artists". The also took steps to keep our home as clean as possible while working and cleaned to house completely before leaving. Douglas and crew were professional and worked very hard. They explained what they were going to do, and kept us informed of the progress; even showing pictures of the before and after condition of our vents. Well done. A note: A friend came over several weeks after our duct cleaning and asked us what we had done. He told us he used to get sniffles and throat irritation when he came over, but it didn't happen this time (we did not know that), so he was impressed with the cleaning job. As a result of their performance, we will use this company for future work to seal our ducting.

Overall, excellent job. They showed up on time and were very professional and clean. It had snowed heavily the day before, and they worked hard ensure that snow did not get in my house when they ran the hose from the truck--even going so far as to shovel my walkway. They cleaned the vent. Identified and resolved an issue with the exhaust. Our dryer now works great.

This company is one of the most professional I have come across in any aspect of providing home services. They were honest, hard working, professional, courteous? We couldn't have been more pleased with the work and their approach to working with us. During the work, there was a small bit of damage caused in our home. They immediately let us know about it and when we had it repaired they immediately reimbursed us within one day. That incident should not discourage anyone from using them. Small accidents happen. The issue is how you handle it. And they scored a perfect score. Our home is now warmer and cozier than it was before. We haven't seen the heating bills yet, but I am sure they will be reduced. This is a wonderful company.

It was very simple to schedule an appointment and the lady in the office was very nice. He arrived on time and was able to complete both jobs in one day. They cleaned up well after the job was complete. Tim, the owner, is a very nice guy with a good personality. My experience with them was great!

My experience with the company was fine. It was simple to schedule an appointment and they arrived on time. My only concern with the company was how I felt a lot of pressure from them to purchase services for additional work.

It went very well. Tim is extremely knowledgeable about his craft, which is exactly the type of service providers my wife and I like to hire. They were on time, very efficient about their process and were in and out in the specified amount of time they told us they would be. The job significantly cut back on the amount of dust and other particles that were coming through our vents and that we were inevitable breathing in. Tim also recommended an air purifying system that would take the purity of the air we were breathing to another level. He offered us a discount because of that fact that we had a baby on the way, which we very much appreciated. I've been negligent on writing this review and since this time we hired Air Duct Maids again (January 24th) to relocate the return in my office and seal the vents because they were leaking so much air. Tim's son Doug and two other crew members did the job this time. I work from home and the return in my office was extremely loud and made it very difficult to hear clients on the phone and over the computer during presentations. Doug and his team were able to relocate it to a much better location and reduced the noise it was producing significantly. He also dry walled the hole where the previous return resided so we didn't have to hire an outside contractor to do the job. They were also able to reduce the leakage in my vents by about 90%. The only reason they weren't able to obtain 100% is because they determined that our ducts may be disconnected somewhere in the walls that they weren't able to reach. I decided tearing apart my walls was not a project we wanted to take on. We noticed a significant temperature change in our master bedroom that same night. We no longer have to put 3 blankets on our bed to stay warm. Doug even mopped our floors before he left because they tracked a little dirt through the house. That's great service. Tim and his team know their stuff and will go the extra mile to make their customers happy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
