The stag. Was professional and very nice to work with. They did a great jobs and I will certainly hire them again as well as recommend them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was excellent. They were very professional, on time and very clean. My wife signed up for several extras, which I thought was overpriced. The final price for a $175 job was $600 which was a lot of extras. We basically paid triple. They say their normal price was about $400. I would advise to beware of extras but they went over everything ahead of time with my wife and she approved it all. I just couldn't believe that all the extras would triple the price. They were really good and did a great job. They were spic and span spotless going over every vent in the whole house. We were very impressed with that. I would use them again but I would make sure that I was in charge.

They arrived on time, called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way as well. Upon arrival, 3 men came to the door, the team leader introduced himself and the team and asked me to show him the furnace while the guys got the truck and equipment ready. I showed him to the furnace, he explained all they were going to do, asked if I had any questions and then got started. They were quick and efficient - went over their findings after the cleaning and made a few recommendations. No pressure to buy or upgrade, but offered a few other services if I was interested.

Purchased the big deal for air vent cleaning. The company responded quickly and set up a time for them to stop by and conduct the work. Everything went smoothly, the crew that stopped by the house was quick, efficient, and thorough. All vents were removed and care was taken for the ones that were painted over by the previous home owner. Used the camera on the condenser coil and recommended a UV light for the system, but didn't up sell very hard. Just explained why he thought it was in my best interest. I declined and no further pressure. All in all a great deal and I would highly recommend the company to anyone looking for a good duct cleaning company.

Doug and his assistants Alaa & Joel did a fantastic job. They completed the work as advertised and walked me through their process, and most importantly left the house clean. While they were working, I thought that I would collect the vent covers and clean them, but then I realized that they had already collected them and were cleaning the covers themselves! That was an unexpected surprise, and an action that I thought was very professional and thorough. At the end, Doug talked with me about our ducts and about our HVAC system and filters. He did offer some better filters, which I purchased on the spot. All in all, they have a great business plan, are very well versed in their profession, and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them, and will use them again in the future. Well done!

After Tim finished explaining his process, we walked through the house and Tim noted where all the air vent openings are. Then he and his crew set to work. I don't think I've ever witnessed such a fast-moving, energetic group of serious, conscientious and hard working young men. They wasted no time in removing the vent grills, taping them for suction, and taking the grills out to the truck for their super air washing. The duct system was methodically cleaned, floor by floor, and the vent grills returned to their locations absolutely spotless, while Tim worked in the basement with the main heating unit. Tim noticed that my UV light wasn't working, and I explained to him that the unit has been broken for some time and that the figure I was given to either repair or replace it, was too expensive for me at the time. Furthermore, he explained that the unit had also been installed in the incorrect location in the system, rendering it ineffective. Tim offered to install a new unit in the proper location, for less than I was told it would cost to repair the old, incorrectly installed unit, and I asked him to do so. We finally completed our visit by discussing the company's application for duct sealing certification from Dominion Power, and agreed that when he visits next, he will perform the process on our duct work. This is an impressive company led by a knowledgeable and highly articulate owner, and a super crew of employees. They work quickly, but thoroughly, are pleasant to deal with, and leave your system whistle clean. I've had other companies clean my duct work, and there is no comparison. I unequivocally recommend Air Duct Maids. They're super!

Crew arrived on time. They had to move two couches to get to two vents. I had to ask them to replace the couches. They did not put them back on the coasters - just shoved them against the wall. After they left, I found dust and debris around all the vents I could get to on the main floor and a big chunk of debris in one of the vents. I spent 45 minutes cleaning up after them. On the dryer vent, they left lint between the washer and dryer. I can't assess how well the vent was cleaned, but based on the mess by the heating vents, I'm not confident. They did remove the bird's nest and some of the litter that they got on the ground. They sold me 3 filters which did not fit as well as the ones I buy at Home Depot and cost more. If they spent as much time cleaning up after themselves as they did in up-selling, I would buy from them again. UPDATE: When the first ducts and dryer vent were cleaned, I found debris around a few of the vents and lint next to the dryer. I gave the company a C and the owner called personally to offer to re-do the work to my satisfaction. He was so earnest in wanting to exceed my expectations, that I said yes and when they came, paid to have them also clean the ducts on the second system. When a company succeeds the first time, that is wonderful. When a company doesn't meet expectations and goes out of their way to make things right, that raises my confidence in that company even more. I will recommend Air Duct Maids and use them again!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went pretty good. They showed up on time, they were polite and efficient, they did the work, and they were done within an hour. It was a little cheaper. They had some air filters so I bought a bunch of things from them. I will use them again.

The overall experience with Air Duct Maids was tremendous. Within minutes of purchasing my Angie's List deal I received a call from Tim who carefully went through their process, answered all my questions, and scheduled me for my first choice of times. The day of my service, they clearly communicated with me on their estimated arrival time and made it easy for me to leave my office and meet them without having to take too much time off work. Once at the house, Tim did an initial inspection, told me what they were going to do, answered my questions, then got to work. Since I had bought the house within the last year and didn't know the maintenance history, I asked Tim to check the coils and make a recommendation as to whether or not he thought they needed a cleaning. After drilling a small hole in the duct work near the coil, Tim was able to insert a small camera and show me the coils, which obviously needed cleaning. At that time, he also recommended a UV treatment system, which I'd already convinced myself I needed. So, what started out as a straightforward duct cleaning ended up being nearly 6 hours of service. Tim and his co-worker stayed until after 9 pm that night to get the job done. Tim personally went over and above what I expected, including sealing some large gaps at the back of the air handler that were from an improper/sloppy installation, thorougly cleaning the utility room, and other little touches you just do not see most companies taking the time to do these days. I was completely impresses by the experience. And while I ended up spending a good deal of money beyond the initial Angie's List deal (with no pressure whatsoever from Tim), I still feel like I got a great value. Thanks to Tim and the folks at Air Duct Maids for making my house a cleaner and safer place for me and my family!

These guys are professional who use professional equipment. If you someone shows up at your door with a hand held device or tells you that you need to have this cleaning done 2x per year, hire these guys. They do it right from the start.

Service was great! Team of Alex and Joseph arrived within the time block scheduled (and also rec'd great phone support from their central office - Tiffany - regarding when to expect team, etc.). They were very friendly, professional, and got right to work. They explained the process fully, answered my questions, and overall, did an excellent job. They cleaned up everything thoroughly and reviewed all with me upon completion of the work. I am completely satisfied, impressed with the quality of the service they provided, and highly recommend them to other homeowners.

The crew was punctuate and the price was ok. However, after they cleaned our air duct, there is still quite dusty in the house. I just don't see the differences for the money that I have spend.

My first time using this company. They came within the time frame given. All the workers were very mindful of wearing their cloth booties over their shoes which I really appreciated. The head technician was very clear and patient about explaining what his team was going to do. The two other techs immediately went to start setting up for the process, moving in the giant vent for suction and methodically taking out all the vent covers from every room and vent. Head tech focused on the work at the furnace and air conditioner. Team worked well together, was very polite and thorough. Vent covers were taken to their truck and dry brushed before being replaced. Dryer vent was removed and vaccumed with a snake kind of vaccum and tech also vacuumed vent from the exterior of house. They also cleaned and vacuum lint from front of dryer at lint filter. They removed furniture that was in the way of vent covers but returned them back and vacuumed areas where work was done. Am satisfied with their work and will definitely use them again.

I contacted Air Duct Maids on 10/18 to clean our dryer vent. Through the entire weekend Tiffany communicated with me, answering all my questions and scheduling a time that was good for me. By Sunday, evening we had a time/date confirmed for 10/21. Air Duct Maids arrived for the scheduled appointment on time. The entire crew were professional, informative, and very nice and courteous. Not only did Tiffany go out of her way to answer my questions to schedule the service. The crew that came out went out of there way as well to explain the service, once they arrived. I HIGHLY recommend Air Duct Maids and will be recommending them to my friends and neighbors.

They did a great job. They provided video of before and after the cleaning which I thought was considerate.

They are so outstanding. The service I got on that day from this service provider is unlike any company I've ever had. They are incredibly clean and honest and did a very high quality job. Their service truck was so clean I would drive it! The supervisor Tim did a great job managing the crew of 4 workers. They were efficient, respectful and I was most impressed. I would recommend them to anyone and can't say enough good things about them.

Everything went quite well. Douglas, Alaa, and Joel just went about their business removing the vent grates and taking care of the ducts in each of the rooms. As things were proceeding Douglas talked with us, explaining how everything worked and showed us some pictures of our ducts (very dirty) and then showed us pictures of the ducts when they had completed the service (very clean). The hole operation took about 90 minutes. When the work was completed they took the grate covers outside and to clean them, reinstalled the grates, then swept the floor to make sure everything was nice and clean. We are quite pleased with the service that Air Duct Maids performed at our house. As the day went on we seemed to notice that the air felt fresher in the house. Douglas, Alaa and Joel were very professional in carrying out their service at our home. We enjoyed talking with Douglas during the time the service was being performed. We are pleased with the whole process and would definitely use Air Duct Maids in the future and would recommed them to anybody that is considering having their air ducts cleaned. Good Job!

I was very satisfied with the service. They came out on time. They were great and quick. We'd use them again in 2 years. The price was reasonable.

Air Duct Maids arrived on time, following the 30-minute heads-up call. They were courteous and professional. They took care to protect the house from the equipment. All three technicians were busy throughout the duration of the job. The job took approximately two hours, and everyone knew what they were doing.

Very efficient, clearly working very hard. They were very careful to explain exactly what they would be doing, and made sure they protected corners and rugs from their equipment. When we pointed out a couple of vents that weren't replaced properly, they were quick to fix and make sure we were satisfied.

Company respresentative called 30 minutes prior to team arrival to let me know they were on the way. Also answered my questions about any preparation necessary on my part before their arrival. Supervisor of team introduced himself and his 4 associates and explained in detail each step of the process of the duct cleaning. Also answered all questions concerning the process. Very likeable young man with obvious vast knowledge of the entire process. He asked for a tour of each room to check the vents, furnace and duct work...even finding a couple that I didn't realize were there. He again sat down and reviewed what he had found, the cleaning process again and several suggestions for future consideration to improve the performance of our furnace. The house is old and I greatly appreciated his suggestions and his manner....there was no hard sell at all. He asked if there were any other questions and then got the process started. Each associate came in, introduced themselves and immediately put on protective booties and began the process of removing the vents, sealing each vent space and starting the vacuum process. The supervisor was very diligent with each member of the group and kept me informed on each step of the process. The entire process took probably a little over an hour as they did encounter several sections of the house that required some additional attention. They also tested for mold in the system and upon seeing their findings, I did purchase a UV clarifier which was at an additional charge. Again, this was a suggested addition by the supervisor and at no time did I feel obligated to make the purchase. However, when I saw the results of the test, it was a no-brainer that it was a necessary iten to add. After the cleaning process was completed, each area was cleaned/vacuumed/swept so that there was no sign of any dust or other debris from the ductwork. The house was far cleaner when they left than when they arrived! The supervisor again went through how the UV clarifier worked, how to change the bulbs and how to find replacement bulbs on the web. He spent more time talking with me about how I felt the process was done, how efficient they were, etc. As they are a relatively young company, I think they truly are off to a great start with a very personal touch. Not to mention a very reasonable price for the service. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone.
