I got this contract for my deaf-blind sister who requires an interpreter for each appointment. The last 2 appointments were cancelled. The second one was cancelled without any notice.

The positive reviews that I have read about this company must speak to what they once were. This experience was messy, to say the least. The young man who first showed up to do the estimate was great. Because of him, and because of the straightforward and fair pricing, I signed on with Affordable pest. The issues with this company started immediately. I had no confidence that these people knew what they were doing. The problems began with scheduling. I had no idea how the process worked. There was a lack of organization which lead to different people trying to schedule me and other people changing those times. When I attempted to call their number I might get a receptionist who did not seem to have access to the master schedule, yet she would go ahead anyway. There was inevitably a conflict that would result in rescheduling. There was no easy way to distinguish between a person of authority and a phone bank person. The number was the same for everyone. As I write this, I am looking out the window at the last of the mole flags in my back yard. Its been there for a week. Someone was supposed to show up today to check it, and no one did. This is their story in a nutshell. This company does not take charge of its appointments. Read the Google reviews, they are all true.

They are not inexpensive, but the materials they use and the quality of their work is excellent.

BEWARE!!!

Actually arrived early! The wasp nest was between the screen and bedroom window and about the size of a lady fist. We called for a guesstimate and got approx $175. The man walked around the house to be sure we had no other nests (I Had done that already) and said $375 for the job. He was there so we signed the papers. Without wearing any protection, he opened the window a crack, sprayed the nest, no more activity, so he raised the screen and sprayed the others flying around. It took less than 2 minutes. No bugs got in the house but he did not sweep up the dead bodies in the window frame - I brought him a bag for the nest. Seemed a lot of $$ for a quick task - but we did not want to undertake that one - maybe next time... but we will not call Affordable funny name!

Great service.

The gentleman who came to our house was very knowledgeable and got rid of our pest problem. The bad part was trying to reach this company. We had to call them to ask what time they were coming for the second visit. It took us forever and many, many phone calls to get someone. Not good PR. It was very frustrating to have to call so many times and sit and wait for someone to call back.

It seems to me the worker should be better protected from the pesticides.

Everyone is very professional, arrive when they say, follow up with you and answer any questions! Hope this works for my problem!!

They missed the three-hour appointment window and wanted to schedule two hours later. Thats five hours after the original appointment start time. When they did show up, the worker wanted payment before starting but we already paid for the work in advance. Instead of him communicating with his company first about any payment he demands it from the customer first.

Good advice but we did much of the work to eliminate mice by following their instructions. Discouraged by insisting on quarterly servicing and outrageous prices for doing the attic!

Absolutely horrendous communication. Do not I repeat do not hire these folks. They come initially looking like they know what they are doing and once they take your money they blame you for their horrible communication. I will say Tim- the guy that comes to do the physical work- is a very fine young gentleman that knows what he is doing. The company as a whole needs a lot of work and I have canceled my services before they even began.

Poor service. Animal was in trap set by Affirdable Pest Control a full 72 hours prior to removal from premises. I was shocked when I saw the animal still in the cage on Sunday evening, August 15, 2021 at approximately 9:00 pm when I had reported to the company that the animal was in the cage on Thursday morning. August 12, 2021 at about 8:30 am.

Price was right and work was performed in the time they promised. They real problem they have is communication and scheduling. It's impossible to get someone on the phone who can actually help you. They constantly reschedule and once you're able to agree on a service date, they will text you confirming different dates and/or times. Additionally, techs will show up not knowing what the job is about. It feels like a lot of improvisation happens all throughout this operation. I may cancel my agreement because the entire experience is just frustrating and it's impossible to get a hold of a manager to discuss.

Very professional and friendly. Did the job and provided necessary paperwork immediately via email. Very reasonable price. I would use their service again.
