Affordable Pest, LLC was quick to respond and set up the initial appointment. The exterminator was very pleasant. Listened to our concerns and communicated clearly. He always calls prior to his arrival and meets the scheduled time. This was my first experience with bed bugs. After 5 treatments, we still have bed bugs. As I have repeatedly contacted customer service to let them know that the bed bugs have not been eradicated, they have become less responsive. The scheduling has been more difficult. They change the scheduled appointments without contacting me first. The last time I contacted them, I once again explained that I was still experiencing bites and signs of bed bugs, the person I talked to told me that it could not be bed bugs. Same bites, same signs after 7 weeks. I was insulted as I know what the bites look like and these are the same. I paid for a 6 month contract. It was expensive, but I am glad I chose to do it since it is still an ongoing problem. The company name of Affordable Pest is misleading as I thought they were a bit high priced. As of this review, I am still having sleepless nights and finding new bites daily.

The name says it all. They were far more affordable than other options considered.

Bit expensive, despite name

Honestly speaking it's too early to tell; the first service visit was yesterday.

I am thoroughly pleased with the customer service provided so far. I was contacted quickly, had an option for an immediate appointment (but delayed by a day to accommodate my schedule), and in the two times I had to contact customer service, I was on hold for less than 30 seconds and the reps were very helpful. The rep who came out to my property, William, was extremely courteous and professional. He was informative, explaining possible reasons for my ant problem and walking me through the process of the first treatment and follow-on services, offered tips I could do to help prevent future issues, and was patient when addressing all my questions. I've had one service call so far, but am impressed and would recommend them. As far as effectiveness, my ant problem seems to have cleared up in about 24 hours (saw some stragglers after the treatment, but they seemed disoriented - likely infected by the poison - and would probably die on their own if I didn't do the job immediately).

Good customer service. But it is only worth it if you buy the monthly package. Technicians were willing to ask questions and help educate us.

Affordable is not reliable! I scheduled the initial estimate visit and was given a time between 9am and 11am. At 1 pm I had not seen or heard from anyone. I called and was told someone would be on the way. They arrived at 1:30 pm. The tech was nice gave me an estimate and I hired him(against my better judgment). He completed the service and said there would be a follow up in a week. I scheduled that appointment for 3-5pm. At 5:15 pm the tech calls and says he is 45 minutes away. I tell him I had somewhere to be but would contact my daughter to see if she could come. I hang up with him immediately get her on the phone. I call him right back and he tells me he cant come he is on his way to another call. I then call the main office to cancel services. I paid an initial deposit of $325 didnt not get my follow up or my completed services which according to their contract should have been flea and tick and mosquito treatment. They said I would receive no refund partial or otherwise for the service. Basically I paid $325 for him to spray for spiders, put out two mouse traps and two snake lizard traps. Beware unreliable and not affordable. Found another company who arrived as promised and cost less.

Prompt, professional, and great customer service

All went well and on schedule.

We had to reschedule a couple of times due to rain, but each contact I had with their customer service, they were courteous and accommodating. When I call them, I get a human, not an automated system. That's a huge bonus in my book. Also, they are a local company - another huge bonus in my book.

After services are completed, the company will come out a week later to check on the accuracy of service and Affordability Pest are available 7 days a week

I am scheduled for service in a few days so I can not really judge the techs service yet. I am very dissapointed with he customer service. They tried to count my initial free inspection as the first of two treatments for $400. The tech sprayed the mattress with one can of spray. He assured me there was no charge as this was the inspection and no charge for the can of but spray. The office tried to count that visit as the first treatment even though the room was not totally treated. I don't play games with any company I hire for jobs and I don't tolerate a company playing games with me. I will never use this company again nor recommend them to anyone. They should be strait with customers and not take advantage of them especially after they agree to pay $400 as I did. I wouldn't continue with them except I already paid them $200 up front and they have my debit card info so they can take the second payment out of my account as I already agreed to. Very disappointing experience. I'm hoping the two treatments will go well. If not I'm going to the BBB.

Joe Tracey came to give me an estimate and then followed up w/the service a week later. He was friendly, professional and very thorough. I am extremely pleased w/the whole experience w/Affordable and they are! Highly recommend!!

I will finish the review once the rest of the work is done. I am still waiting for an apt with the dept that puts the weather stripping on the doors.
