+ -1 moreNora and her team did an EXCELLENT JOB cleaning my house! In the past we had a cleaning company and you CANNOT even compare them to Nora the Cleaning Lady! This company is on a whole different level. They did a true deep cleaning. They are the most polite and professional crew we have every dealt with for ANY house services. Her and Carter work SO well together. I am NEVER going anywhere else for my house cleaning needs.
Description of Work: They did an extremely detailed clean of my kitchen, living room, dining room and all hardwood floors. They cleaned all my bathrooms and my master bedroom.

+ 0 moreNora was very responsive to my initial inquiry and accommodated my schedule for both her on-site estimate visit as well as the actual service. Her team worked quickly and thoroughly and were professional. Found her prices for the service provided to be very reasonable. Entire cleaning took under 3 hours. Would have taken me a whole weekend. Well worth the price and would definitely use her services again. Update 4/30/13 regarding lawn care: Carson from Nora The Cleaning Lady LLC is wonderful. When inquiring about lawn service, he quickly came to our property to give a quote for each lawn cut. The price he gave was less than another company I received a quote from, but I must say even if Carson had given a higher quote than the other company, I would have still hired Carson anyway due to his professional manner and politeness. He came the day he said he would and got the job done. His quote even included trimming the edges with a weed whacker. He made sure I was happy with the job, which I am! I plan on using this company for more of my landscaping needs like weeding, mulching, etc.
Description of Work: Move-in cleaning. Whole house was mopped, vacuumed and dusted. Bathrooms scrubbed down. Ceilings dusted and cobwebs removed. Appliances cleaned inside and out. Kitchen cleaned including inside cabinets. UPDATE 4/30/13: Nora The Cleaning Lady LLC is now providing lawn care, handyman services, painting, etc. We have set up lawn service with Carson from the company.

+ -1 moreTheir team arrived within the one hour timeslot given with lots of equipment and cleaning supplies. Nora had encouraged me to purchase liquid gold to be used on wood furniture and antiques. We were shocked at how good our everyday table looked after they worked on it. I had described the finish as "trashed" the week before and they made it beautiful again! Carson also cleaned our carpets with a steam cleaner and they looked as good , if not better, than they had after we had paid a carpet cleaning company prior to moving in last summer. Overall I was very happy with all they did. They missed a few things downstairs, a mirror and glass in the door of a cabinet, but what I love about Nora is that she is very eager to please and make her business quality. I have no concern that those things will not be missed in the future. Another great quality about Nora is that she is willing to come up with a cleaning plan and schedule that fits within your budget. She gives a discount if you use your own cleaning supplies too.
Description of Work: Nora provided an initial deep clean. She arrived with her fiance Carson and two other employees. They spent a total of two and a half hours cleaning our house. Prior to this initial clean, Nora and Carson came to the house to walk through and discuss what we wanted done. She customized a plan and price based on what we wanted. This included cleaning and dusting of all floors, blinds, floorboards, and furniture, as well as a detail clean of the bathrooms.

Description of Work: Nora came to our home and and after checking all rooms gave us a reasonalbe estimate for the initial first cleaning visit. She and her crew pointed out areas that really needed a thourough cleaning. After the first visit she discussed setting up a bimonthly schedule as well as a check list of things to be cleaned on each visit or monthly visit.

+ 0 moreIt has been over three months now and I think I'm in love. There have been several things I wanted done differently and Nora and her team have responded with shining stars. It is easy to email with her and she is very responsive. They are super to work with and are truly 'detail' cleaners. I'm grateful Nora hasn't fired me (for being so picky) and I've moved her from monthly to bi-weekly. I also gave her a raise. She is worth more than she charges. I LOVE NORA!
Description of Work: After an initial consultation, Nora came to clean with her team. She cleaned everything, including the refrigerators AND the space between my storm windows!! She also changed sheets, etc. Everything was wonderful. Since I am abnormally picky and have fired house cleaners often because of poor performance, I was very upfront with Nora about this and she understood. We started out monthly.

We met with Nora and Carson to speak about our interest in a bi-weekly cleaning. They were very friendly yet professional and we got a good sense of how thorough they are. We set up an initial cleaning and was VERY happy with the result. The attention to all of the details, in some cases above what was expected, makes us feel that our ongoing cleaning experience will be a successful one.

+ -1 moreAs stated above, we asked Carson and Nora to provide us with an estimate for the cleaning of our home on a regular basis. During the initial consultation they advised that the first cleaning would cost more than the other cleanings and that after the initial cleaning we could adjust our cleaning schedule and plan. Guess what happened? They gladly came out to our home to perform the initial cleaning. My wife and I were satisfied with the cleaning that was performed. After multiple attempts to get in contact with Nora regarding the regular cleaning schedule we have been left with an unresponsive service provider. My wife and I are a little upset that we paid for a higher price initial cleaning, and then have had no response for further action. It seems as if it was a quick way to trick us into paying a higher rate than expected for a "one and done" service.
Description of Work: Nora and Carson provided us with a detailed first consultation...and we subsequently asked them to do the initial deep cleaning of our home.

+ -1 moreIt's SO nice to have the whole house looking great at the same time, instead of piecemeal as I get to areas as time and energy permit! Nora and Carson came to our home prior to the appointment, to assess the condition, learn our preferences for cleaning materials and come up with a price. It's a great way to do business; both the customer and provider know exactly what to expect. They delivered what they said they would, and we're really pleased.
Description of Work: Nora and her crew arrived at our approximately 1700 sq. ft. home to do a "top to bottom" cleaning, which was truly needed! In 2 hours, the 5 of them had done a thorough job, including attention to all those bothersome areas I gloss over (e.g. baseboards, blinds, paddle fans).

She brings a notebook with her and takes notes; I like her communication and thoroughness; she does a good job cleaning. Her pricing seems reasonable to me; I think we are getting value for the amount that we are paying.

Carson doesn't just organize, he asks questions about likes/dislikes and applys it to how things are to be organized. When Nora brought in different sized ladders I knew she was serious about her work, her attention to detail and the quality of work of her crew. My house was cleaned from ceiling to floor. They even move furniture and clean underneath. And they get on their knees to scrub baseboards and vacuum the hard-to-reach areas. Nora is the third cleaning company I've used and she's a keeper!!

+ -1 moreI was happy with the detail they put into dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning kitchen. They wiped down cabinets in kitchen and on top of the refrigerator. They wiped down doors and base boards. They even moved some furniture to vacuum. The supervisors went through house after the cleaning and took care of little things that were missed, which is always appreciated. My appointment was for a day when the hurricane was coming through, so I received an email the day before my appointment stating that due to inclement weather they may not make it to the scheduled cleaning. Nora called the day after the storm to set a new cleaning appointment that day, so I didn't have to wait forever to get the crew in. I am now awaiting a new email from Nora about price changing on bi-weekly cleaning because first estimate wasn't correct. That would be the only negative because I based picking her on her pricing and previous reviews.

She called to confirm that she was on the way, both for the estimate and on the day of the cleaning. The crew of 4 spent more than 3 hours and all of them worked steadily during that time. Their pleasant and cheerful personalities were as welcome as the thorough cleaning they provided. Rather than dusting/cleaning around items, they moved the furniture and items on the tabletops and appliances to make sure it was fully cleaned.They even cleaned the outdoor table on the deck! Our home never looked so good and we will be using Nora's services on an ongoing basis. Highly recommend her company.
Description of Work: Complete cleaning of our 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin. Our home had not had a "top to bottom" cleaning in quite a while. In addition to the usual vacuuming, furniture dusting, bathroom cleaning, etc., Nora and her crew cleaned all overhead lights and ceiling fans (including those in the vaulted ceiling of the Great Room/Kitchen); dusted walls, ceilings, baseboards, door frames and window frames; cleaned wood floors and tops of all shelves/appliances - including items on them.

+ -1 moreNora came and gave an estimate for the first cleaning, and then for the upkeep after that. When she came out the first time they got to work cleaning my house. Our house is two single guys, it has never really been clean before. They left it spotless. The second time she came, the house was even cleaner. Nora checks over the house herself first, then gives a walk through to tell me everything they did each time.
Description of Work: Nora has been to my house twice. We are on a monthly schedule. Very professional, does a great job. They come in and get to work, no wasted time. I am home while they are cleaning and they are very courteous and considerate about cleaning while I am working. Definitely give Nora a call!

Description of Work: I hired Nora to replace an individual who had been cleaning my house for the past two and one-half years. My requirements and expectations were very high in regard to a replacement. My home is three levels and approximately 3,600 square feet. Most of the floors are wood, and there is carpet in only three (3) upstairs bedrooms. There are two full Baths, two half Baths, four Bedrooms, and an Office on the Basement/Garage level. I own two (2) Golden Retrievers who I keep shaved due to allergies and skin conditions, and I have two (2) teenage daughters. I travel extensively for work and maintaining a clean house is a must. The children and the dogs provide a challenge in regard to keeping the wood floors clean and presentable; however, Nora is meticulous and does a very good job. Dust is also a challenge due to the amount of wood present in the home. I also task Nora with changing the sheets in two (2) Bedrooms, and the bath and hand towels in all of the Bathrooms. She brings an employee, and they finish cleaning in slightly over three (3) hours. This is good as my former house cleaning person operated alone, and my house was being cleaned for over four and one-half hours. With the dogs and the kids constantly about, this is a much appreciated change to the weekly cleaning routine.

She cares about and l listens to her customers and does an outstanding job. She has cleaned our house 3 times - 2-week intervals and has done an exceptional job each time. She is scheduled again in two weeks.
