BAY Crawl Space & Foundation Repair

We had dampness and mold issues in our crawlspace. They sprayed to kill the mold, then encapsulated the entire crawlspace with foam board and high quality plastic that is supposed to last 25+ years. Also installed a dehumidifier. The workers were great and professional - Nick, Josh, Stefan and crew, we thank you! They perform a quality check after the work and fixed any remaining issues for a top notch job.

Bay encapsulated my crawlspace in 2018 to eliminate excessive moisture causing mold spores on floor joists. Since the work was completed, humidity levels are 50% or below and initial problem is gone. This week Seth Lilienthal performed yearly maintenance by making sure entire area was sealed, dehumidifier and condensate pump are working properly, dehumidifier filter was cleaned, batteries were changed in sensors and humidity was checked. Seth arrived on time, explained what he was going to do and upon completion, informed me everything was operating correctly and humidity was 48%. Great job by Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair.

Excellent overall experience with BAY Crawlspace, From the first time meeting with Beau who completed the quote to planning and scheduling with office staff to employees Nick & Josh who completed the repairs. All staff were on-time, extremely professional, & did a great job with terrific communications.

Crawlspace encapsulation maintenance> Seth called when he was on his way and arrived on time. When he arrived he explained to me what he was going to do which was to check that the dehumidifier and sump pump were all working, clean the dehumidifier filter, clean out around the sump pump, replace batteries in the sensor and inspect the crawl space. When he finished he everything was working and looked good and gave me the summary of what was done. I was very pleased with his service.

We had 3 crawl space jacks installed to secure beams in our house. Throughout the whole process Bay was very helpful with recommendations and answered all of my questions. They will not try to upsell you or charge for unnecessary things like other companies. The installation team members, Marcus, Austin and Jermaine were very helpful, professional and courteous the day the work was done. They even answered questions I had about my foundation that were unrelated to the job. They did a great job of cleaning up and making everything look nice after they left, and even put in clean plastic to replace dirty torn covering that was under my house. At the end of the job they explained what had been done in addition to showing me pictures of the completed work. Great job guys!!

We used Bay Crawl Space Repair and Foundation Repair to encapsulate our crawl space and couldnâ  t be more pleased. We entertained a number of estimates and, after comparing, found Bay Crawlspace not only the best value but a great team to work with. Michael Rowlands, the sales person, did a full inspection of the crawl space to include pictures, sat with us and explained the problems, and offered a number of practical solutions. He walked us through all our options and costs and did not pressure us for an answer. We called him several times to get additional information and he was great in providing answers. The installation team did a great job. On the first day they introduced themselves an explained what they were going to do on each day. At the close of each day the team lead notified us what was done and what they were going to do the next day. Upon completion of the installation Chris Woolard did a quality control inspection and provided pictures of the completed job. Now â  we have a back deck that was being replaced and was in the way of installing one of the vent caps. Once the old deck was removed we called Bay Crawlspace and Seth Lilienthal stopped by, installed the vent cap, and did an inspection of the installation, no charge. Bottom line â  Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair is a first rate company that provided excellent service. We were MOST pleased to have selected them to encapsulate our crawl space.

Our inspector Fred was very thorough and did not pressure us into making any quick decisions and offered us various financing and discount options. They have great communication throughout the whole process. Bay came up with a project schedule and were able to keep to the schedule with no problems. They were friendly during the whole process and thoroughly explained everything. They also took care of obtaining any permits that were required. Our Team Members of Stefan, Thomas, Floyd and Adian were dedicated and hardworking and are to be commended for their work. A+++! Highly recommend Bay for Crawlspace Encapsulation! We had many estimates and Bay was the only company who found another access point in a very tight space that others had missed. They were polite, cleaned up the space and our yard daily and gave detailed progress reports daily. We were kept up to speed on appointments and they always did what they said they were going to do. The electrician who was subcontracted out was great and even attempted to fix the holes in our living room wall when he accidentally drilled through-we ended up taking care of this on our own and a job of this magnitude is going to have speedbumps. From start to finish, Bay kept their word.

WOW! Stefan and crew did an amazing job from beginning to end! The crew absolutely worked incredibly hard to encapsulate our crawlspace that has had a severe moisture problem for years. We had several estimates and we are SO happy that we went with Bay. They do it the right way. The communication from the office staff (who are incredibly kind and polite by the way) was stellar and always kept us updated. The crew also gave us updates along the way and were so polite and cleaned up every single day. The moisture problem appears to be under control and we are looking forward to another humid summer but hopefully without moisture issues. The musty odor in our house in gone and we feel healthier! We were having excess moisture causing insulation to fall and fungus growing. We chose Bay after getting several estimates and have been extremely happy with their work. Bay recently installed two Titan jacks under my house. The jacks were to support cracked foundation piers. Bay did an excellent job from start to finish. I was immediately impressed when I called to get a quote. A real person answered the phone after just a couple of rings and the estimator was scheduled to visit within a week. The estimator Michael arrived on time, did a thorough inspection and took time to explain the foundation problems, Bayâ s plan to correct the issues together with accurate sketches and pricing options. I thought the quote very fair and reasonable. In addition no deposit was requested, I would only pay once the job was completed. I found this reassuring of Bayâ s confidence in their own work. I agreed go ahead and was again quickly contacted by the scheduler who worked with me to arrange a convenient time around my schedule to do the work. The technicians Nick and Josh showed up to do the work exactly at the time I had been told. Nick and Josh were friendly and respectful. Both men were wearing masks when they came to start the job. To me this showed Bayâ s concern for their employees and respect for their customersâ safety. Nick explained what they were going to do and they immediately got to work. They completed the work quickly and efficiently. Nick took multiple photos showing all stages of the work including step by step excavation, backfill and jacks installation. Nick shared the photos with me and patiently answered my questions clearly once they finished. The photos go into the file for a permanent record of the work done if any future inspector enquires about the depth of foundation etc. When I later checked on the work, the area of the repairs was neat and clean. Nick and Josh had carefully replaced the plastic sheeting that they had to pull back under the house. I was impressed as I have frequently found trash and dis-guarded materials left after other contractors have done work on the house. I will not hesitate to recommend Bay to anyone who needs foundation work done. They are very professional in all areas of their operations and provide excellent end product

Bay Foundation is a Company with a honest reputation, affordability and the best employees just to mention a few, Beau advising, Cindy & Mickie keeping us informed, the many personable, professional employees especially Seth and Shawn who were the last employees who finished up and did an amazing job. We had a very unhealthy situation bringing us tons of worry but I'll have to say Bay took our worries away and I notice a HUGE difference already with our indoor air quality. A few years back, I had Bay encapsulate my crawlspace and install a french drain. They did an amazing job and we are very pleased with their ongoing service. We had our annual service a couple months ago and the dehumidifiers seemed to be running too much and humidity was much lower than they had been in the past. I placed a service call and I always get a friendly helpful person when I call. They sent Seth Lilienthal out within a very short time and he checked everything out and made some adjustments and now it seems to be working great again. Seth has been to our house a couple of times for our annual service and he has gone above and beyond each time he comes out. On our last service, he noticed water was leaking under the house maybe from plumbing leak. He recommended a plumber they partner with and that company came right out and resolved the leaky pipe. Today when Seth was here he asked me about it and then checked it out and told me there was no more water leaking and wood in the area was drying well. Thanks Seth for your efforts!! I highly recommend this company, I have had nothing but great results from them!

We had our crawlspace encapsulated by Bay Crawlspace and Foundation Repair three years ago at a fraction of the cost of JES's estimate. The work was done on time and to exceptional standards. My scary crawlspace with water puddles, drooping insulation and a mildew smell is now clean, dehumidified and continually monitored for moisture. I've had Bay Crawlspace come out twice for annual maintenance and some minor upkeep, and the office has been courteous, the workers arrived on time, and the work was accomplished as promised.
