BAY Crawl Space & Foundation Repair

In preparation for house renovation, we hired Bay Crawlspace to handle issues under the house and settling on the exterior. Lennie conducted our inspection and we found him to be informative and realistic with our issues. He made practical suggestions for the work needed. When the day arrived for our work to begin, we met our crew, Stefan, Floyd and Adian. They were cordial young men and were obviously interested in completing our job professionally. Stefan, as foreman, identified a possible problem upon surveying the property. He worked with Lennie to alleviate the issue and work commenced. The work was completed in the time designated and we were kept advised on the progress of the work regularly. Our questions were answered quickly and the procedures were explained well, as curiosity did get the better of us. Have no reservations about recommending Bay Crawlspace and Lennie, Stefan, Floyd and Adian's work.

This was our first annual maintenance inspection for our crawl space encapsulation and dehumidifier that Bay Foundation had done for our home. Seth and Alex were professional and on time for the inspection work. Seth went over work that we should get done in the future for our foundation and said he would email us a quote for our subflooring and piers that need to be worked on. Everything went quickly and efficiently with the inspection and I felt very confident in the work that was completed for us. Looking forward to working with Bay Foundation in the future!

I had a cracked pier replaced with 2 jacks and a broken joist sistered. The quote was professional and the installation team of Set and A-Shawn explained everything and did a great job. They cleaned up afterward and were a joy to work with. This is the 2nd time I have used Bay Crawlspace and they are top-notch.

Seth & Alex just completed the second annual maintenance on our crawl space encapsulation and provided a good report. They were courteous and professional, arrived within the appointed window, and went through their checklist to ensure that the dehumidifier continues to work properly and that conditions throughout the crawlspace were as expected. Since the encapsulation, the dehumidifier has worked flawlessly, and the hygrometer has confirmed a consistently low humidity level. We highly recommend the diligent work of Bay Crawl Space.

Great company! Verify paperwork is correct prior to signing just in case as we had a slight hiccup but was remedied fast and efficiently! Very professional and reasonably priced. Won't try to sell you something you don't need - atleast this was our experience.

My home is in Chesapeake and was built in 1993. I discovered a massive mold and wood rot problem that damaged a main support beam and multiple floor joists. I contacted Bay and met with their representative Beau shortly after. Beau did an excellent job inspecting the damage and took his time explaining our options for the repairs and estimating the cost including mold remediation and prevention. Bay kept us informed of the repair date and estimated arrival time. The needed beam and joist repairs required multiple visits over a few weeks but the teams lead by Art and Seth were punctual, polite and professional. A follow up inspection of the repair by Chris convinced me to do additional repairs. When walking through my home, it now feels more stable than it ever has but be prepared that wall damage like sheet rock cracking may occur if the repairs require lifting your house. I would highly recommend Bay to anyone needing crawl space structural repairs and water vapor barrier installation.

Michael Rowland was our initial contact person. He examined the area, and sent us a detailed remediation plan and detailed cost analysis. Shawn, Shannon and Travis, our team, was led by Eric, who gave us a detailed explanation of what would occur each day and ended each work day with an explanation of what had been completed. The team was courteous, professional, hard working and eager to please. The space is now clean and dry. The new piers and the replaced beams are tight and ready for decades of service and are supported by the Bayl warranty. For a stress-free foundation project. I highly recommend Bay Crawl Space.

Had their crew come out and fix my foundation after a drunk driver hit my house. They fixed the fallen wall and my doors now open and close. The work lead worked his butt off to ensure completion of the job, Austin along with his crew Eric, DeLion and Tyler. If possible ask for this crew, they are very professional and they clean up the any mess there is. Great work ethic from these gentlemen.

Our experience with Bay Crawl Space was exceptional from start to finish. It is very refreshing to have a contractor that does exactly what they say they will. Fred was very detailed and willing to answer any questions. He also laid out the various options and cost associated with them. Unlike some companies, there was no pressure at all. The communication with the office staff was impeccable from beginning to end. Rare these days. Troy and Josh were very careful and through removing the old insulation. It was also very important to us that they not make a mess, which they did not disappoint. Our electrician Vincent was very nice and showed us what exactly he would be doing. He was quick and efficient. Our encapsulation team, Stefon, Adian and Floyd were superb. They worked very hard and did not hesitate to answer my questions. When they were done, I went under the house for a tour from Stefon. We stayed under there awhile and he pointed out things and answered my questions. The crawl space looks fantastic. We can already tell the difference in the house. Seth and Troy showed up on time to take care of the one item on our punch list. They were very professional and took care of business. We would highly recommend Bay Crawl Space to anyone. We wish all of our contractor experiences were this great.

Was more money than I expected but it's the first time I've ever had any crawlspace or foundation work done as a home owner (others more experienced in my family said it usually can be costly). They do finance and I was actually financed at a better % than quoted. They did a great job overall!

We have used Bay Crawlspace for several properties that we have rehabbed and flipped in the past. Our latest property required some repair work to the joist underneath the house that was causing the flooring in the home to sag in the entry way. Seth and Troy arrived on time and made the repair quickly and to our satisfaction. We'll definitely be using Bay Crawlspace for all our other crawlspace requirements.

Seth and Garry came out today to do my yearly service. They both are professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. They cleaned up so well when they finished that if you did not see them you never would have known they were there. The people at Bay Crawlspace are the best! I had a terrible moisture and flooding issue in my crawlspace which caused a mold problem under my vinyl plank flooring. Beau came out and did a detailed inspection and was able to identify cost effective solutions for under my home. Mike, Aaron, and Shannon came out and did the work quickly and efficiently. Bay handled the whole deal, from ordering materials, getting the permit, scheduling an electrician to finalizing and completing the project. They had a real good hand in helping me with the finance company too. All the employees were polite, cordial, easy to work with and always had the right answers for my questions. They were just as good when they did my son's home too.

Dave Hendricks came out and gave us a very thorough evaluation, and showed us what was wrong. He was very honest and didnâ t try to â sell usâ on stuff we didnâ t need. No pressure, he just gave us the information and patiently helped us make the right decision for our situation. Bay Crawl Space provided a reasonable quote without any high pressure sales tactics and thoroughly explained, in writing, the extent of the work needed. The work was completed in a timely fashion with a high degree of professionalism. The work crew was efficient, polite and went out of their way to explain all that was being done on my home. They even added a light in the crawl space to assist in illuminating the work area! Great organization. Great communication. Highly recommend over other crawl space repair/sealing companies.

Bay Crawl Space are true professionals. Every phone call, every email, every interaction with crew leader, office staff and advisor was 100% professional. At no point did I wonder if we contracted the wrong company. They are CLEARLY knowledgeable about their work. We had a lot wrong with our crawlspace and our home is now so much more comfortable and healthy since Bay Crawl Space performed the following: installed - French drain/sump pump system, 2 crawl jack systems to repair failing piers and encapsulation with a rock-solid dehumidifier as well as fungal removal treatment. Our 50+ year old crawlspace is now humidity controlled and the damp, mustiness is all but disappeared inside our 1-story home. It ain't cheap...not gonna lie. But, you're paying humans to spend several days in a not-so-pleasant environment to make your home and quality of life better. And it's worth it. The value is in their reputation, work and product.
