The crawlspace encapsulation service that Bay provided was not a selection I could choose for this site so I selected the next closest service. This letter is to inform you of the disappointment I have experienced regarding the quality of work at my home. Your company started work on my crawlspace on the Oct 10, 2018 and said that they were complete on Oct 15, 2018. I initially trusted their word so I paid the invoice in full. I realize now that is was a mistake. Upon inspection later that day I noticed extremely poor quality of work by your company. The opening to my crawl space from the inside of my garage contained a set of custom cabinet doors that for some reason your workers decided to remove and in their place put a set of cheap looking and cheaply made low quality doors. Because your doors are not cut evenly they do not close properly and also are not anchored into the wall properly. Your workers also destroyed the custom framing that was originally installed in my garage. Without my permission your company replaced high quality custom made doors with something that is of inferior quality. Return my crawl space doors to the same level of quality they were before you started work on my home. On your website (https://www.baycrawlspace.com/services/encapsulation/) , you claim that special access doors and vent covers are important to minimize air loss and keep pest and insects out of the crawlspace, but not only are my access doors poorly installed you company poorly installed vents covers as well. There are vent covers that are too small for my vents leaving gaps greater than 2 inches. There are also vents that have not been sealed to my home; in many cases they are not fastened to the brick of my home. The vents are literally falling off my house. For the few vent covers were caulked the caulk was not professionally applied (the caulk lines are not straight and has been applied sloppily). You claim that a professionally sealed crawlspace does not contain air gaps, but that exactly the state that you left my home in. I first complained about these issues Oct 15, 2018. I was told that your Forman (Walt) would come by my house to correct these problems but he did not show that day. Walt came to my house the evening of Oct 19, 2018 to inspect and acknowledge the damage done by your workers to my home. He assured me that he would return my garage crawl space entry back to its original state and fix the issues with the vent covers you installed. This was supposed to happen today Oct 22, 2018. However, Walt arrived to my home after 5pm and the sun had already set so no work was performed. What was supposed to fixed today has now turned to some unspecified day the week of OCT 29TH. If these issues are not corrected by Oct 30, 2018, then I will start legal proceedings to hold you liable for the cost to repair the damage you have done to my house and all legal fees associated with suing. I hired Bay to install a crawl space drainage system. Very professional, worked neatly and delivered the system on time and on budget. Great value.

Please see my review on Google for more detail, but after a lengthy full spectrum search for a well established and detail orientated company to fix the ongoing drainage issue in my crawlspace, I chose Bay and was blown away by the professionalism and total attention to detail of their work. They leveled and cleared debris from under my nearly 70 year old home in Norfolk, dug full perimeter internal French drains that emptied into two sump pumps. Did a full encapsulation that included a dehumidifier and two stand alone breakers to run it all. Their bid was thousands below the next closest company (who never returned my calls...their loss). From the first handshake during the initial inspection to the final crawl through (which the owner Blake accompanied me on), Bay was above reproach in all areas. You will not be displeased from their level of service and the materials they use. They have only been around a few years, but their workers all come from other well established companies who simply are going down hill. When you see the final product, it's no secret why they have great reviews across the internet. I cannot thank Blade, Art, and Seth enough along with their entire team, and would highly recommend Bay to anyone in need of crawl space repair.

I called them and they came right out, I called them back for a check and they came right out. He is quick to respond and he stuck to everything he promised that he would. His price was half of another competitor that I contacted for an estimate. He was very helpful and he answered all of my questions.
