BAY Crawl Space & Foundation Repair

I researched several different companies that do crawl space work and decided to go with Bay Crawl Space & Foundation Repair. I called and they sent one of their representatives (Jamie) out within days. I explained to him the work I wanted to be done. Jamie inspected the crawl space and then devised a plan to fix the various problems. We were pleased with what he had to say, so we gave him a deposit. We were contacted the next day and were given the dates the Bay crew would be coming to do the work. Eric and his crew spent several days here and when the work was done he explained to us what they did. The following day Matt came to finish up a few things to complete the project. Overall, we are very pleased with the work and service Bay Crawl Space provided, They did what they said they were going to do in a timely manner and the cost seemed very reasonable. They get a 5-star rating from us.

From the very first phone call to the last step in the process of removing our crawl space insulation, treating the area and then installing new insulation, we could not have been more pleased with Bay Crawl Space and Foundation Repair! Our first contact after the initial phone call was with David H, who came to our home on the scheduled date and at the scheduled time. He examined the crawl space, alleviated our concern about information that had been previously mentioned to us, and thoroughly explained what he thought needed to be done, including the price of the project. We agreed to proceed and scheduled the work to be done. We were kept informed every step of the way by Christa L on the customer support team, as well as Kristin, the service manager, who also gave us a courtesy call a few days after completion, to ask if we were satisfied with the job. They were both in constant contact with us by phone and text messages about scheduled dates and who would be doing the work. We were very impressed with the timeliness of the scheduling and the smoothness of the process from beginning to end. James came out on the scheduled date and at the scheduled time to remove the existing insulation. Afterwards, he sent us photos of the area so we could see what was done. Then, Casey came out on the scheduled date and at the scheduled time and treated the area, also sending photos of the area so we could see how and where the work was done. Next, Mike and his crew came out on the scheduled date and at the scheduled time to install the new insulation. Afterwards, he also sent us photos of the job so we could see how and where the work was done. Every person who came out called prior to arrival so we would know the exact time frame. Every person was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and respectful of our property, and extremely impressive to us was that each person seemed genuinely happy to be doing their job! What a pleasure to do business with such a reputable, reliable, customer oriented company, and above all, a company that values their employees as well as their customers and does so with pride and integrity! Bay installed crawl jacks to stabilize my house's support beam. The quote was competitive, and I liked how I was not pressured to spend very high amounts that were quoted by competitors. The work was completed in a single day, and the employees (James and Ty) were professional.

I had concerns about our foundation and I needed a reputable company to inspect our issues and potentially perform the job. From the very first contact Bay Crawl Space & Foundation Repair were professional, curtious, and quick to respond. They kept us informed every step of the way of when they were coming and what jobs they were performing that day and they never seemed upset when I would ask any questions regarding upcoming work. I didn’t get to personally meet Kasey who performed the Boracare treatment or Eric, Chris, Dean, and Eli who performed the work under the house as I was at work while most of the work was performed; however, they texted me each day to inform me of when they would arrive and when they were finished for the day and even included pictures!!! I am also grateful for Scottie the field supervisor who came out and assessed another potential job that I needed done and was able to set us up with that as well!! These projects were a long time coming and I am so grateful for the Bay Crawl team! I would definitely work with them again and I am!

ALL WORK CREWS WERE PROFESSIONAL IN CARRYING OUT THEIR PARTICULAR FUNCTIONS OF THE ENCAPSULATION PROCESS. DURING THE ENTIRE JOB, FOUR EMPLOYEES STOOD OUT IN THEIR REPRESENTATION OFF BAY CRAWL: MIKKI, KATIE, CHRISTA & MATT. MIKKI, KATIE & CHRISTA PROVIDED EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY COMMUNICATIONS WITH THEM ABOUT THE VARIOUS JOB STAGES, CITY INSPECTION DAYS & REGISTERING INSTALLED EQUIPMENT. You couldn't have a better crew & business to do this installation for you. All the installers worked as a fabulous team. Radames, Gary, Chris A & A-Shawn on the dig out & sump pump installation was during the hottest days of the year. Never stopped or complained. The discharge line had to go through the brick of my house & under my sidewalk, Gary, James & Josh finished out as good as it gets to doing the masonry work. Anytime you call the office (Cindy, Katie, Mikki & Christa,) it seems as if your the most important customer they have, never on hold or inattentive to your questions & needs. Also an A+ to the electricians Vinnie & his assistant, just a great job.

Bay recently completed some extensive structural work under our house as well as installing a new vapor barrier . We could not be happier with our entire experience and would definitely recommend them. Beau our Advisor was great and treated with respect and no pressure to make a decision on the spot. My dehumidifier stop working and I contacted Bay Crawl who are very responsive. Josh and Alex arrived on time and ask me to describe the issue. They explained what they would do to check my crawlspace and dehumidifier. They asked what I’ve done to date to ensure he was troubleshooting correctly. They were polite and very knowledgeable. They were able to fix my issue immediately and explained how it happened and some preventive measures. Since I’ve had my system installed, Bay Crawl has been responsive to all my concerns and able to address any issues. I would recommend them and their services to my friends and family.

Making the appointment was easy and painless. Appt was made and they were out in three days. Called as a reminder and when they were on the way. James was professional and explained everything. He answered my questions and put me at ease.

My wife and I bought a nice modular house in Accomack County, Virginia, about 2 years ago as a 2nd home. We wanted to be sure that there were no structural issues regarding the crawl space (of which I had concerns), and we needed the insulation replaced. When we saw a sign for Bay Crawl Space Foundation Repair in the area, we called to have a free inspection. They sent David Hendrickson out right away, and he found that there was insufficient support for the floor joists, documented with photos and visual inspection. Within a month, after we secured a Home Equity Loan from our bank, Bay had a full crew (at least 5 motivated workers) on site to install two additional sets of I-beams and jacks to shore up the flooring and fix the insulation. Within 3 days, the job was done! This was a significant investment, but worth it for us to have confidence that the house now has a reliable foundation. We immediately noticed our floors were much firmer. We recently had foundation work by Bay Crawl Space & Foundation Repair and I'm very pleased with their work. We received a couple of estimates from different companies and Bay had the best presentation and price on the fix (sagging floor) with no pressure to sign a contract at that moment. Jamie (expert advisor) explained the planned fix in detail, answered any questions we had and provided a drawing of work to be completed. A company rep called to set up an appointment date and time with details about what materials would be delivered to complete the job. On the day of the scheduled work James and Tyler showed up when they said they would be here. After a brief conversation about the planned work to make sure it's the same plan as discussed with Jamie, they began working and informed me of what they were doing at all times. At the completion of the job, James once more explained what was done and rechecked the floor to show improvements with problems solved. The repair crew also cleaned up after they completed the work. Throughout this entire process the folks at Bay were completely courteous and professional. I would highly recommend Bay for any Crawl space and / or foundation work.

We can’t say enough good things about Bay Crawlspace. We had Jamie come by for a free consultation and we couldn’t be more pleased. He was patient, kind and very informative. He knew this was a costly project for us and helped us really understand what we needed. The installation crew was phenomenal. The site was never left a mess they even swept areas of the garage that they didn’t mess up. The whole process took about 3 days to complete and we were kept in the loop the entire time. The site supervisor stopped by and talked to us and he also let us know how things were progressing. We needed to have some piping move and they were able to give me a name of a plumber that could do the job quickly so we could continue. From sales, masonry, installation and jacking up the project was a success. Being a REALTOR® I would definitely recommend them in the future.
