Description of Work: Lowe's installed a glass storm door for my front door. It took about a week from purchase for the installer to come out and check the measurements for the installation ( he did this while I was still at work). He informed me that my door bell had to be relocated. This lead me to having to purchase a wireless door bell and get my cousin's husband to disconnect the electricity from the original doorbell. It was nearly another week after the measurements were taken before the door was installed. When I got home he and another employee were already there, before the scheduled time, installing the door. Overall, I am satisfied with the work performed but would have liked to be informed that they were running ahead of schedule.

Description of Work: We went to Lowes to purchase a ground tester for our electrical outlets (as we were having electrical work done in our home). When we went to check out, there were 2 women talking in front of the registers. Neither of them acknowledged us, or that we were looking for an open register. I heard one of them say we have to open the register. We went into that lane. The cashier was the "Lead Cashier." My husband said something to ME about her being there leader. She proceeded to engage him in an argument. My husband is 6'5" and 300 lbs. He is a huge teddy bear, but can be intimidating. She was not at all phased. As he would make a nasty comment about her work ethic, she would defiantly come back with a nasty comment to him. I was SO offended. I immediately left and called corporate. We have not been back since. It isn't worth the stress to me. I'll use Home Depot all day.

+ -1 moreWe were very happy with this company and the best part of the job was seeing the stairs when they were done. That was a hard job and they got it done perfectly. The price I paid was personal and if anyone wants a price they should call Lowes because every job is different.
Description of Work: They installed carpeting on my stair well and in our master bedroom.

+ -1 moreLowes installers showed up ready to get the job done. They were very nice and respectful. The carpet had no seams or tacks showing, that I could see. The installers got the carpet done really fast and I trusted them in my home. I was really satisfied with the carpets.
Description of Work: They took out 4 rooms of carpet and padding and installed new. They hauled away the old stuff for me.

+ 1 moreThis is the first time we had hired Lowe's for such a large job, and we were unsure of their abilities at that point. They have since, proven they are fully capable of doing a professional job, as well as keeping the price down. The crew was prompt, well behaved and completed the project in less than two weeks. The kitchen looks great, and we also have more storage space.
Description of Work: Lowe's remodeled our entire kitchen. They replaced the counter tops, cabinets, flooring, and put in a new sink.

+ -1 moreMr. Faulk was the one that installed my door for me. Lowes sub-contracted him to do the work for me. I really liked that he was able to set up an appointment quickly and he also showed up on time. He did a good job on my door. Lowes even delivered the door to my house and made sure all the materials that he needed was on hand. I feel that Mr. Faulk did a nice job and he is good to work with.

+ 0 moreThe installers were skilled and worked really fast. They showed up ready to get the job done. I can t see any seams or tacks at all. They were friendly and the corners and edges fit great. I ll use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreI had wondered what kind of an installation job would be done by Lowe's and I was pleasantly surprised. I had always known they had good prices , but the skill with which their job was done was first rate. The installers arrived early and were very polite. The rooms were all carpeted in less than a complete day and the carpet was stretched nice and tight. The quality of the carpeting was top of the line as well. Everything about this project went perfect.
Description of Work: Lowe's installed carpeting in six rooms of my house. The living, and family rooms, three bedrooms, and the foyer.

+ -1 moreThey did a nice job of removing our old carpeting. They installed high quality carpet and a nice padding. The men that installed my carpeting were very good. They did haul away our old carpet as a part of their service. I was very pleased with the results they gave me.
