I called the project manger on Jan 16 2014 to ask his him when they were going to start and he said to call back on Monday. Me being the customer should HAVE NOT have to do any calling at all period. I did call back on that Tuesday and he said and quot;he had to fit me inand quot;. I realize that during this time of year we had a lot of storms and cold weather but that is no excuse. If I knew it was going to be such a delay I would have gone to another company.
They did start the project on February 2 2014 and finished it on the 7 February 2014. The person doing the work was outstanding. if he was the project manager I would be so happy. I will not use this company again.

"We are disappointed that Mr. [Member name removed] feels the need to complain about our services. His complaint seems to center around several things that are not factual about our processes. 1. Our reconstruction estimates are not completed until the drying portion of a project is finished to ensure that no additional demo is needed. For this reason, reconstruction work does not occur immediately following the drying process. It is normal for several days to pass before an accurate reconstruction scope of work is written and the work is scheduled for completion. 2. Mr. [Member name removed] was under “no obligation” to contract with us for the reconstruction portion of his claim. As early as January 17th, Mr. [Member name removed] was aware that there was a waiting period before repairs could begin. Most companies in our industry experienced the highest volume on record during Jan and Feb of this year. For this reason, it was common for companies to be backlogged 3‐6 weeks before starting the reconstruction phase of this work. We worked very hard to schedule our customers much sooner than that. Mr. [Member name removed] did not have to wait an unusually long period of time under these circumstances. a. He was provided an estimate for reconstruction on 1/21/14 for his review and as well as correspondence to his insurance adjuster for our recommendations. b. A contract for reconstruction was sent on January 30th indicating a start date of February 3rd and completion by February 7th. 3. By his own admission, work was completed per the contract terms and without complaints in workmanship. We feel Mr. [Member name removed] received excellent service and we went the extra mile to schedule his work before other customers who were waiting much longer. 4. Finally, we have a (CSA) Customer Service Advocate third party company hired to perform oral surveys using 12 questions for each of our customers. We pay for this extra survey information because we value customer feedback. In reviewing Mr. [Member name removed]’s survey we found it to be contradictory and completely inconsistent with any other survey conducted on Scott Sheridan’s work. Scott Sheridan, Mr. [Member name removed]'s Project Manager, always receives very high marks on surveys conducted with his customers. As we mentioned we value customer feedback and take all of our customer’s concerns very seriously. On close examination, we do not see how we could have provided Mr. [Member name removed] with a better level of service than what he received. His complaint centers around expectations that were unreasonable and unfounded. It is clear from Mr. [Member name removed]’s own comments that he was aware that our work schedule was unusually full and that choosing us for his reconstruction would delay the start of his work by an unspecified period of time. Mr. [Member name removed] had every opportunity to choose another vendor to do the work and instead signed a contract with us. That contracted work was completed on time and with quality workmanship as indicated in his own testimony."
Advanced Restoration came out on short notice to ascertain the extent of the water damage and provide a quote and workable plan of action for the scope of the job. Since it was late in the day when this was given work began on the next day. Advanced Restoration came out and over the course of one day pumped out the water from the crawlspace and removed ruined insulation and vapor barrier for disposal. They were on site to meet the insurance adjuster and worked directly with my insurance company to ensure that all the proper documentation was received . After the first day they assembled a heater that would blow hot dry air through out the crawlspace and lower the humidity from the standing water. They sent a rep out each of the 5 days the heater was there to ensure operation and continuous operation of the equipment. I would recommend Advantege Restoration.
