Was on time. Clean and organized service vehicle. Technician was a Master Plumber. Tech was careful in the house and was very clean. He explained what he was going to do. When finished, our kitchen drained like new. If we need similar work or HVAC work we will be in contact with this company. In out experience this company is outstanding.

Excellent Service! They came when I couldn't get a hold of the company our Home Warranty hired. They were very reasonably priced compared to the other company. He explained everything in detail and was able to do a complete water heater install SAME day. We were very impressed. We ended up hiring them for our HVAC repair too.

Our repairman worked diligently to correct our issue which was smelly water. Once we determined it couldn’t be fixed by replacing the anode rod, we opted to replace the water heater and put in the new anode rod. He ordered the water heater, delivered it, replaced the anode rod and installed the new hot water heater. He took the old water heater away. He was mindful of our home and took measures to insure he didn’t damage anything and cleaned up once he was done.

Came quickly - provided and estimate and did the job exactly as they should for that price.

Install was provided by an owner with many years of experience who cared about the quality of his work. I received many quotes and I really don't think you will find this combination of low price, quality product, warranty, and highly trained very knowledgeable HVAC technician (and owner) in the Richmond area. Our experience with Merrimac Services has been wonderful. They've helped us with some HVAC issues in our home, and we have been very pleased with their work. They are professional, courteous, and really go the extra mile. Our AC unit stopped working on a Friday evening, and Chris came out within the hour and got everything working again. We really appreciate the quality and level of service we receive from Merrimac, and will absolutely call on them again.

The two gentlemen arrived as promised, gave us a reasonable estimate of the work to be done and a fair cost estimate. They returned to do the job as scheduled and did the job professionally and with competence. The charge was as estimated. MerriMac is now my go-to plumbing service.

It was a pleasure working with Merrimac (Chris). His professionalism, knowledge, and craftsmanship are traits that are few and far between in the residential market, (I have 25 years experience in industrial electrical). My Trane A/C and furnace were installed within the week (could've been done within days, but I had other estimates coming in). I could tell Chris takes pride in his work by the quality and attention to detail in the installation. I highly recommend Merrimac to anyone looking for a top-notch HVAC mechanic. They were informative. Once inside, I told them about the obvious problems and asked them to walk the house and evaluate all my plumbing and point out positives and negatives. They were terrific.

You get what you pay for!, very satisfied with MerriMac Services LLC. I had them replace a 20-year-old Water Heater and Toilet, snake the plumbing line to confirm that toilet was most likely the problem and not the drain line.

I don't usually get blown away by tradespeople I hire, but I was simply delighted with MerriMac Plumbing. I was overdue for a water heater and Rich Macomber came early on the day scheduled for an estimate, gave a complete and thorough evaluation of what was needed, answered all my questions in a most polite and professional manner, and offered a lower price than all my other estimates despite recommending several safety additions I should have had. He and his partner could even do the work the same day if I wanted and I was so impressed I hired him on the spot. I was not disappointed. Their most excellent work was meticulous and efficient and their absolute care in avoiding even a hint of mess getting the tank out of a second floor attic and through our house was indicative of the care they took throughout the project. You would do yourself a great favor by choosing them for your own project.

Initial call to set up the service appointment went well, the person o the other end already had the info from Home Advisor and had a range of dates/times for scheduling. Technician who came out to the house was prompt and knowledgeable, and explained what the issues were as he went. Excellent experience overall.

They called me shortly after I had posted the request for help. They came to the house when it was snowing outside and worked on the problem until it got to a point where it required them to return the next day. The office staff kept in touch with us all through the process by keeping us informed of their status and when to expect them to arrive. They came and worked until the problem was solved. They were friendly and very, very professional. I would recommend these guys to anybody because of the work that they did. Awesome, awesome experience. We're going to have the HVAC guy come back when the weather breaks to get a checkup of the HVAC system in the house. We're just confident that it's going to be done right.

I needed to have a broken garbage disposal removed and a new one installed. The job was accomplished quickly and efficiently. I also bought a new kitchen faucet from them and had that installed as well. I am considering another project for them to do. Very professional....friendly.....and most importantly knowledgeable....You will be happy with having them do your home projects.
