It went well.

The flooring (3/4 inch oak plank) went in quickly and looks great. The stair rail was a problem. They tried to talk my wife out of indenting the newel (fortunately, I had warned her they might try that shortcut) and installed two balusters upside down -- not a big deal, it took us several months to notice. Nonetheless, the new stair rail looks great and is solid. In short, for a standard sort of job, Carpet Yard will do a good job at a great price, but I would go somewhere else for anything complicated.

The Carpet Yard team did an excellent job of carefully moving furniture and appliances and removing all old linoleum and hardwood flooring from our town home. The Carpet Yard team did an outstanding job of installing all new linoleum and hardwood. At the end of the job, the Carpet Yard team cleaned up our town home, removed all debris, and carefully replaced all furniture and appliances in its original position and left our town home in ready-to-show condition. All work was completed on the same day and minimized the disruption to us.

Excellent in-store assistnce in helping me find products from recycled materials that met our wear and comfort needs. Generous with allowing us to borrow boards to see the carpet in-home. Timely and professional installation. The feel of the carpet once installed with padding exceeds our expectation - really comfortable! I would work with them again on floors if they have the materials I want.

Carpet Yard did an excellent job on both the wall-to-wall carpet installation and the wood laminate floor installation. Both jobs look great, and were done for a reasonable price. The work was done, as planned, in a timely, professional manner.

The staff at the Carpet Yard was professional and very helpful. They helped me with carpet selection and installed my carpet on time. I was thrilled with their responsiveness and would highly recommend them to others!
