Couldn't have gone better! Fair, HONEST, courteous, professional, and friendly!

If you are not taking your vehicles to Sudley you are messing up. My family and I have taken our cars here for years and have always had exceptional, quality, and honest service. My most recent experience, however, had convinced me I NEED to write a public review. I have a used car (2016 Toyota Corolla) that I got a few extended warranties on so usually I take to the Toyota dealership but I just need emissions and Inspection so I took it to Sudley. When they called me that it was done they mentioned that they noticed oil on my head gasket and that is definitely something I would want to check out ASAP. The woman at Sudley called Toyota to inquire about a warranty and as soon as she said the year and mileage Toyota said it wouldn’t be covered. She pushed them to actually look it up where they saw all of my extended warranties and that I was still under warranty. She let me know that it could be nothing but I’m probably close to being out of warranty so I should take it to Toyota ASAP bc a head gasket would be really expensive. I took it to Toyota and they said they didn’t think it was the gasket even after they looked at it but since I’m under warranty they would run a pressure test and confirm. Well there wasn’t anything wrong with my head gasket but my engine is leaking oil and they discovered what was wrong and were able to fix it under warranty. The Toyota rep then told me that whoever looked at my car is really really excellent. He said “most people would have never even noticed this”. I know little to nothing about cars, but as soon as he said that I knew I needed to write this review bc even other technicians were impressed by the thorough job done by Sudley! As soon as my car is out of warranty I’ll resume my normal maintenance at Sudley!! TL;DR - get all of your cars serviced at Sudley Car Care !

the service was exemplary the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. The performed the repairs quickly and efficiently. The folks at Sudley Car Care Center were wonderful and provided us a lot of options for repair and in on case the repair did not work so they fixed the issue and covered the labor. I intend on using them for all of our car repair needs going foreword I cant recommend them enough

They did a great job. I went to AAA for a quote before I went to them and they were more honest than AAA was!

Great service, worked with Jason. He was very professional and arranged to pick up the car at a local dealership. The prepurchase inspection, performed the same day, found some $1,700 worth of repairs needed on the vehicle. Based on that report we ended up purchasing a different vehicle. We were very thankful we used Sudley and would recommend them without hesitation.

They fixed the problem exactly as specified, on the timeline they indicated at the price they specified.

Second time using Sudley Car Care and again very impressed. Friendly, Professional, helpful and honest. Very fair on their pricing. Excellent work and will keep coming back.

It went great!  My Mom was visiting from Texas (she drove) and her car starting overheating in Front Royal.  She made it to our home in Manassas but had to stop several times to let the car cool down.  We took the car to the Sudley Car Care Center and they looked at it.  My Mom is NOT a car maintenance person and told me she had never done anything to the radiator (no flush, etc. ) since she'd had the car.  All that was in the radiator was brown sludge.  They worked diligently to clean and flush the radiator.  Long story short . . . they went out of their way to repair the car for a very reasonable price.  I would recommend them to anyone, they are the BEST!

I ended up taking the car to the dealer because the part this mechanic would have needed to install would have cost  $1800 to purchase and several thousand in labor to install with no guarantee it would not happen again. Ultimately all I had done was the oil, so my visit is probably not your typical experience.
 
However, the staff were very professional, polite, and friendly.

I found a new place to take my car! I good and trust worthy auto repair place is hard to find in NOVA. I have been taking my car over an hour away the last few years to a mechanic I trust because of this. I decided to look for a local shop and after a lot of research decided on Sudley Car Care Center. I took my car there today and the staff was very polite and I was actually surprised how clean and quiet the waiting room was, a pleasant surprise! I spent over an hour there with my 2 year old who was acting like a normal toddler and having her running around didn't seem to phase or bother the staff which was nice (if you have kids you know what I mean). I brought my car to see if I needed new brakes and to check on a leak I was told by my dealership that I had. I was told I did not need new brakes (YAY!) and they did see a leak and cleaned up my engine that it sprayed all over. They put dye in the lines and told me to come back the following week so they can see where the leak is. When I asked how much it would cost for the repair (if it was the repair I the dealership said it would be) it was $200 less then the dealership! The same day I took my car to my dealership for a state inspection (I get them for free there) and was told by my service adviser  my car would fail inspection for my brakes. When I mentioned I had just seen a mechanic that morning who said my brakes were fine my service adviser seemed thrown off and mad and told me he would fail my car and walked off. At this time I called back Sudley Car Care Center to see if I could bring my car back in for an inspection and while holding to talk to the adviser who helped me that morning, my dealership adviser came back and said he "misunderstood" his mechanic and my car would pass. Thank goodness I went to Sudley before my inspection or I might have ended up buying brakes that I didn't need. Next year Sudley will do my state inspection heck with the free one from the crooked dealership! By the way for any women looking at reviews and know how many auto repair places try and take advantage this place did not. They were very honest with me and did not try and take advantage. I told them my car dealership had told me multiple times I needed new brakes and they could have lied and said I did needed them and made more money but they didn't. That is one reason they will have a new customer who will keep coming back and will recommend them to others!

Justin gave me a wonderful breakdown on the condition of the car. His wise advice to me was to move on to another automobile, considering the reliability of this make & model vehicle, at this mileage point. I really appreciate his concern for our financial situation to not put money into a vehicle that is past its years of reliable use. Many companies just want you to spend your money on repairs, regardless of whether it is a wise investment for the owner or not. It is good to find a company where each of the men I spoke with were straight-shooters, ready-to-serve your need and very compassionate. If you want a car repair company that you can trust through the years in car repair, I believe that this company is stacked up to be that kind of service provider.

They failed both cars and I am doubtful of their diagnosis. Only about 300 miles had been put on the Mazda which had only been used by my granddaughter to drive literally less than one block back and forth to work three days a week bout half the year.  Additionally she had used it for school (about 6 miles to school) about half the time for about 8 months. She took the bus the other half the time.  The car was old and a little sluggish but running fine.  It had had all its maintenance and upkeep, had not been in any accidents and had only been driven a total of about 300 miles since their prior inspection last year.  We don't understand how they diagnosed that it now needed needed 3,000 dollars worth of work which they had expected us to have done.  They diagnosed everything from suspension issues to breaks and more, all things that couldn't possibly have gone bad in 300 miles of normal ordinary use since the last inspection and there had been no indications at all of any suspension problems. Because of the bad inspection we could not get anyone to second guess them and we had to sell the car for a great loss leaving my granddaughter with no way to get back and forth to school or college next year. On the Honda, they diagnosed breaks, which seemed reasonable but they said the airbag light was on also and they were not going to be able to tell us why so they just left us with a rejection sticker and no way to know what to do. We are one of the cars with an airbag recall and the Honda dealer has us on a waiting list to get a new airbag but they also told us the airbag light has nothing to do with the recall and is likely a sensor that whomever does our car inspection should be able to diagnose for us. Apparently that was over their head.  They offered to fix the breaks for just over 700 dollars but said they would still have to fail the car for the airbag. I just didn't get a good vibe and felt that I was not getting an honest deal and I have heard that there are shops who take advantage of senior citizens and I can't say if they are one of them or not, but I can say I won't use them again.

In this instance, Sudley Car Care did an oil change.  However, I have 5 cars between myself, wife and older kids and we take them all here.  They are very professional, and make sure that what you want done - gets done.  I have had brake work, oil changes, maintenance, tire replacement done here -- I even took the malfunctioning rear hatch of my almost new Highlander here (instead of the Toyota dealership).  Mike and Jason are great and they get to you as soon as you can.
Only negative - not open on weekends. But totally worth it to get it there through Mon-Fri.

It was really expensive but we got 10% off with Angie's List. They were professional and knew what they were doing.

Around 8 months ago had differential rebuilt . About 1 month ago hear  high pitch noise coming out . Took back to Sudley Auto as they covered the work with  year warranty as most of all there work . They sent it back to  the 3rd party shop to rework , but the 3rd party shop refused to honor the warranty . Here is he reason why i recommend them and will always take my car to them period, they decided to do the full job internal . The truck is older and some manufacture change took place in past so getting the correct parts took awhile , had to get different rear end from  part store but it was incorrect so taking parts from both rear ends plus with the new parts rebuilt it . Let me tell you that differential is spot on now . The mechanics are professional . Front of the house professional , friendly and throughout the year have become friends . Last but not least the owner , he take pride in his shop and staff he came down and explained the whole process of what happened and the y have topped using the 3rd party shop cause of this issue.

Finally..... A truly professional car care service center.
 My daughter?s car needed new brakes. We took it into a leading national brand brake service and were very disappointed.  We then went to Angie?s List and read great things about Sudley Car Care Center. I am happy to say the people on Angie?s list were right on the mark with their excellent review of this establishment.
        The shop was clean, the waiting area was comfortable, and the staff was top notch. They gentleman behind the counter was very courteous and took the time to go over the needed repairs in detail. In the end they did more work, replaced more parts, and charged less than the other guys.
I will definitely take all of my vehicles to Sudley Car Care Center in the future.

They do exactly what they tell us they are going to do and if something else more comes up, they call me and explain it to us. They are very prompt in trying to get our vehicle back in time. If we take our car there and it needs to be inspected, they will drive us home and pick us up. We spend a lot of money there. They are reasonable and certainly do not charge more than some of the other mechanics and probably a lot less too.

They are excellent and they don't repair anything that doesn't need repair; they look in to things.
