Convenience was originally chosen to replace rims on our Mazda 3 because they were a Tire Rack authorized shop, and I could have the rims drop shipped there. The rims were being replaced on the advice of the Costco Tire Center. When I brought the vehicle in, I was told that not only were the rims not the rims I had ordered (OEM replacements) but that they were unnecessary. I was told that the road noise was caused by a bad wheel bearing. They replaced said bearing, there was some small clicking noises that we heard and after continuing for a month or so we brought the vehicle in to rectify the situation. I was told that the previous bearing was bad and that it would be replaced at no cost to me. When I came to pick up the car I was told that the vehicle was making some other noises that they wanted to check out and I set up an appointment to return. When I drove away I noticed the clicking was still there so I called and let them know for the follow on appointment. When I returned I took the shop foreman Dave out to demonstrate the sound. 45 min later I received a call with the diagnostic results, Motor Mounts and Axle need to be replaced. CCC replaced the axle and when road testing it before pickup where not happy with the results, They asked to hold onto the vehicle offering me a free loaner (not something I usually find with a non dealership shop). I received another call the following day that Identified another part that would need replacing, which put us over our budget for repairs. I asked that they leave it as it was as I could not afford to pay for the part. (The owner offered to split up the bill over several payments, however I prefer to pay things all at once.) I then wrote a local review on their website saying how I would still return there for service however I was disappointed that the problem had not been fixed. Roughly an hour later Timmy the owner calls me and tells me that the shop is getting the part on their own recognizance, and in fact he felt they owed us a refund for the initial work. I was actually shocked, the initial work was fine, but here he was calling me and saying that they had not fixed the problem and that he felt that if I had that much money into the repairs they should have fixed the issue. I can not tell you how amazing this is. A shop that cares about its customers, and an owner that works with his team to fix the issues. On a side note, I have found most shops are not a very pleasant place to wait. Stale coffee, loud shop noise, terrible plastic chairs, 15 year old TV's that only ever show "Maury". CCC on the other hand as a beautiful show room, a Keurig, comfortable and clean couches, a large flat screen. However the best part is that instead of posters from Goodyear explaining tire rotation to me, I get to walk around and look at the beautiful Ducatis and the BSA, I get to appreciate classic Camero muscle. TL;DR Summary - I will recommend this shop to anyone that asks, and probably to most who don't. This is how you build a customer base.

They make it convenient for people who need work done. They actually pick the car up on their own flatbed for service. If you need a ride, they will take you home and pick you back up. I value his opinion on 914's very much.
Description of Work: They worked on my antique 914 Porsche. They worked on some wiring that was bad on it and made it work out.

Everything went great. There were a few problems with the tire not holding it's air which they quickly attended. They really went the way way extra mile in helping us due to my husband's disability, which I will never forget. Most of all, CCC has something that most businesses lost long ago. That is, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Saying Thank You and saying that they appreciate your business means so much. And it is something you hear so seldom these days. They are my number one pick in car repair and maintenance.1
Description of Work: We have had two cars serviced by CCC. Both were inspected and the Accord had some service and repairs done. The quotes were right on the money, no hidden charges and the time frame estimated was exact. We had two new tires installed and balanced, the transmission flushed, the inner axle seals replaced, main rear oil seal replaced, exhaust gaskets, nuts, crankshaft seal, transmission cooler o ring, pump seal, ATF fluid replaced, as well as electrical work on a 12v socket that wasn't working.

They were not equip to work on bmw. They had my car for 2 weeks and did not fix the issue. I asked for a refund but they did not refund and just kept trying to do other work on my car.

It is unfortunate you are dissatisfied with our service that was done almost 4 years ago. You came to our facility on Saturday, 12/13/2008, during a BMW Club Members Do It Yourself (DIY) event. Our shop hosted this event free of charge & our mechanics, on their own personal time, assisted the BMW Club Members with repairs. The issues with your car required repairs to the oil pan gasket and oil filter stand. Your statement that we had your car for 2 weeks is not true. Your car came in on 12/13/2008 and you paid for said repairs on 12/18/2008 – 4 business days later – in the amount of $2,500 (including a BMW member discount of $278). We have no recollection of you requesting a refund. You came back on Saturday, 2/14/2009, for another BMW Club event hosted at our shop. You purchased a brake pad sensor assuming while putting brakes on your car, which our mechanics assisted you with free of charge, and received a BMW member discount, for a total of $15.91. You came back on 5/15/2009 for a valve cover gasket replacement and we honored our warranty of 1 axle assembly we installed for you on the 12/13/2008 invoice. You picked up your vehicle that same day (and again received a BMW member discount), for a total cost of $282. In closing, the first oil leak repairs were on the oil pan gasket and oil filter stand (vehicle had over 100,000 miles - 12/13/2008). At 5,200 miles later your vehicle required a valve cover gasket replacement (5/15/2009). These are completely different repairs. As for not being equipped to service BMW’s – we completely disagree. The BMW Club has used our shop over 14 different times for events, we have factory level diagnostic equipment, factory trained techs, as well as the ability to reprogram & program BMW’s.

I and quot;limpedand quot; into his shop with the car, and a cordial discussion resulted in verifiying an alternator replacement would probably be necessary - it was completed the next day. I have now put almost 10000 more miles on the car, with utmost satisfaction. His speed, efficiency and cleanliness in replacing the alternator was nothing short of excellent. The scores for this review actually covers over a year of excellent support from Timmy and his crew for my aging 1999 convertible. They have had to endure many idiosyncracies of my vehicle - but did not hesitate to pursue, with vigor, solutions. When the situation became most pressing, they did not hesitate on calling on other service places for deeper technical assistance. Throughout the series of maladies, Timmy was most gracious and understanding of our various plights (family funerals, etc.).The problems tackled included transmission leakage (extremely difficult to diagnose), clutch replacement (he received a defective part - never expected...), and a driveline vibration (which can be tricky). As I write this, my car is with his shop, tackling a sophisticated convertible top motor problem, and I have every confidence his team will succeed - with a smile . I take great pride in my older car - and would only trust it to someone like Timmy and his team. Mike.
Description of Work: This particular service was to solve a flickering alternator dashboard light - typically indicating a failed alternator. Convenience Car Care performed an computerized alternator test, attaching the diagnostic results to the receipt. They then replaced the alternator.

My car wouldn't start in my garage. I came in, found their prior recommendations on Angie's List and called them. The guy who answered the phone took my info down and said someone would get back to me. They called about in about 5 min to ensure that I wasn't stuck on the side of the road, which I wasn't. He sent the tow truck for the car and it was there in about an hour. It was about 3:00 pm and they told me they might not be able to get to it since they close at 7 but would look at it first thing the next morning. I didn't go with the car since they couldn't work on it then. They called about 9:00 am the next morning and told me I needed a new battery and 1 tire to pass inspection. They finished the work that day and came to get me about 4. Like I said, I was surprised to find my car vacuumed inside, seats etc wiped down and the car was washed when I got there. No charge for the detailing.
Description of Work: They sent a tow truck within 2 hours (I was home, not stuck on road) and it was $127.00. I had a battery change and 1 new tire for my inspection. They picked me up to come get my car (about 15 mi). I was surprised to find my car completely detailed, inside and out for free! They were very professional and I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We use Convenience Auto Sales & Service for regular auto service. Our last visit there was for the annual check-up. They also fixed a broken tailgate. They also did axle work and replaced oil line gaskets.

We have four vehicles. We have Ford pickup truck, Ford Crown Victoria of 2003 model, we have a classic car of 1996 Impala Super Sport Chevrolet, and then we have a Toyota Camry. We have been using Convenience Car Care service for at least 13 years and we keep going back. We are happy with them. They are expensive. They find things that are wrong and fix it. They do not tell you something is wrong that is not wrong. They are extremely honest about that. They do a lot of exotic cars, track racing cars, Porsche, Audi, Ferrari, and all of them. They also do restorations. They do every other car that we have. They do restore work on Cadillac of 1962 and Rolls Royce. They are into racing, so they are definitely motor heads. They also sell used cars. They have a marble floored main area with big TV and they got a custom wood desk and custom wall hung lighting. It is really beautiful. It is a new building and it is really an unusual place. I would use their service in the future too.

My battery died and they were there very quickly. They were very professional and very reasonably priced. They were very friendly and they went very fast. I would definitely use them again.

The experience was fine. They seem to be very nice and reasonable. We have had very limited contact with them. There was some information left out about the car. We did not receive the Carfax on the vehicle.

My car was fixed quickly and returned to my home. I never had to go to the company; they brought the car to me.
Description of Work: I'm not sure of the exact date but I had the radiator replaced on my 97 volvo. A few weeks later my car overheated and I immediately assumed that I had been "taken." I called the company and talked to Tim--I was very angry and was not very polite and hung up. No excuses, I just lost it. Tim called back repeatedly, had my car towed--it turned out the problem was electrical and not the radiator--and they returned my car to me. I was not charged for the two tows, even though it was about 40 miles round trip. I was impressed by how professional Tim was throughout even though he was dealing with a very angry woman and equally impressed with the way the company went the extra mile to assure me that they were concerned about the impression I held of it. Very unusual in Northern Virginia

We bought a '99 Dodge Stratus from them for my son's first car. After we handed over our payment, as we we're pulling out of the lot the automatic window on the driver's side stopped working. We backed up and brought them out to look at the window. They decided that the motor was burned out and immediately said they'd order the part and replace it as soon as we were able to bring it back - complementary. Before bringing it back, I realized that the engine that hadn't sounded outstanding from the time we had brought it home was sounding more and more like a chopper. They agreed to repair that as well as warranty work. What they told me is that they sold me a car I could afford (under $4000) and wanted to make sure it was right. After doing the work, they offered to bring the car to me on the tow truck since it was so far from us to come get it. Their reputation is very important to them and they show it with the work they do and the honesty they show.
Description of Work: Replaced motor for automatic window on driver's side, injector service, induction service, replaced plugs, checked timing belt all warranted on a used $4000.00 car. The work we did pay for was for the motor for an automatic window (passenger side, rear) door along with some basic tuning and adjustments to another window.
