They were professional both over the phone and in person. They were punctual, even though I was not. They even waited for me as I was late. Much appreciated. The install was quick and they even informed us that the roof had multiple layers of shingles, which was no longer to code. One month in and the fan still works with no leaks. The primary issue was that the technician who installed the fan wired the thermostat wrong, so the fan just ran constantly. They did install a cutoff switch, so I was able to turn the fan off while I waited for them to return and fix the issue. They sent a "lead electrician" out who fixed the problem within 5 minutes. They were professional and prompt throughout the process, but I had to give them a B on quality since the job was not done right the first time.

We took advantage of an Angie's List "Big Deal" for an Attic Fan installation. It was something we'd been meaning to do, but had never gotten around to, and the price was really good. Beacon called us back within a few days of signing up, and the gentleman was very polite. He asked some questions about wiring in the attic. He told us that there would be an extra charge because we had no wiring going into the attic, but for just a little extra, they could install a pull chain light socket in the attic. Since we use that space for storage (and have to take flashlights up there when we go), that was a great solution for us. The charge was very reasonable. They called that day and asked if they could come early, because they were ahead of schedule. That actually worked better for us, so I agreed. They worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up all the stray materials, vacuumed, etc. They also fixed one of the outlet plugs that never worked in our basement, free of charge, took the cover off the fuse box, and looked it over. Very nice, explained everything clearly, very thorough. I don't remember the particular gentleman's names, but they were a joy to work with. The fan works beautifully, and it has really made a difference in the upper level of our house, which used to be oppressively hot in the summer. Now the temperature is consistent with the rest of the house, and very comfortable. The only thing I wished they had told us about ahead of time was how noisy the fan itself is when it's operating. If there was a quieter fan available, I would have chosen to pay more for that.

Beacon Electrical Services called me to arrange for the installation of an attic fan. The caller was very polite and professional and answered all me questions in an informed manner. I arranged to have the installation done while I was on a business trip overseas. My Mom was there for the installation and she was very impressed with the fact that they were on time and that they cleaned up after their work. The installation was done quickly and professionally and looks good. I would definitely recommend Beacon Electrical Services based on my experience.

I called Beacon to set up an initial consultation to show the scope of work. The company owner came and performed a full inspection of all electrical outlets in my home and identified a few that required strapping to tighten them up. He also gave an estimate for upgrading the can light fixtures included in the deal to better suit the space (our MBR closet) lighting requirements. We agreed on a time for the technicians to return and install the four lights and (upgraded) dimmer switch. The technicians arrived on time, were courteous, completed their work making sure to clean up the drywall debris and dust, and charged exactly what had been estimated. I had another contractor come in to repair and paint the ceiling where Beacon had removed the old lights and installed the four new can lights. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work.

There was a snafu with the service. They didn't show up. We called and they had us marked as "completed". They came out the same day and upgraded our fan install for no additional charge.

The worker did a good job. He cleaned up very well. He had a good suggestion for wiring. He cut the holes in drywall and saved the cutout pieces so the painter could finish up easily. I am very happy with the results.

Great --- the roof exhaust fan seems to be working fan but is so quiet we dont seem to know when it's on? Since installation it has been somewhat cooler so I guess it's not running very much. glad we had it done--I need to remember the check to make sure there are no leaks. The old fan was original installation when house was built in 1977 and lasted all these years! Do hope this one also lasts many years. Victor was great and called in advance to set up an agreeable time. He was efficient, neat, clean and also did a small wire change on a switch that now works correctly.

After purchasing the deal on Angie's list, I was immediately contacted by the company by email to confirm. A few days later, I was called and made an appointment, which was a few weeks later. The day before the appointment, I was called to confirm. The two guys that came to do the work were on time, friendly, and careful about not tracking anything into the house. They did the work efficiently, showed me the fan from both inside and outside once it was installed. They were very helpful and did not push me at all to upgrade the fan. They cleaned up completely when they were finished. I was really pleased with the work they did and they finished way before I thought they would.

we purchased the electrical inspection big deal. Jesse and Victor were early, but called first to ensure early was okay. For us, it wasn't possible to start the inspection early. The gents waited until we were able to allow them to start the inspection, which they did. very professional, very thorough. The men gave recommendations on work needed (we had an idea that some would be needed before we called, but it's good to have confirmation). We decided to continue working with Beacon - please see future reviews for more information.

Beacon Electrical Services is the best services contractor I have ever worked with. First and foremost, unlike almost all other contractors, Bob Hanifin, the owner, is engaged from estimate, thru installation, to completion. Importantly, when questions arise as they did on this project, Mr. Hanifin personally examined the problem, ascertained the facts, and worked with the homeowner to modify the project and adjust the cost in favor of the client. This is the second project Beacon (new panel installation) has worked for me and exhibited the same qualities as the first project: workers arrived on time, were prepared with knowledge and equipment, completed the work on time and left the work site clean and good order. In particular, Victor Figueroa, who worked on both projects was very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly, and provided assistance without charge on two smaller, unrelated electrical problems. Beacon office staff is prompt, friendly, and helpful. I can recommend, without reservation, Beacon Electrical Services for any household electrical work as the top performer in its field. I marked Price down a notch because there are lower cost companies, but the price and quality provided by Beacon is unequalled.

The electricians arrived on time, and were very courteous. They worked cleanly and quickly replaced the broken attic fan. They brought me a photo of some existing roofing issues and a description, so that I could place a call to make those repairs. I would definitely recommend them, and would try them for other electrical work.

We were so very pleased with the work Beacon Electrical when they upgraded our electrical panel at the end of last year, we requsted that they come back out to install connections for TV's in the bedrooms. We requested Victor and he promptly tackeled our latest request. We needed to get the bedrooms done in time for guests arriving for our daugher's wedding in August. Victor is just a delight! He's got a great harmonious spirit and works very well with explaining what needs to be done or not done. We like his honesty and great energy. He did a super job. Our guests were very happy when they left especially since they had a nice suite like bedroom. The kids are happy now too with the way the TVs are set up!

EXCEPTIONAL! EXCELLENT! Mr. Bob Hanlin arranged the work with his team of Victor and Jimmy. This was a long over due project for us that we had put off for various reasons especially since we started a house renovation and acquired new appliances When I saw the deal for the ugprade I called and set up an appointment. My husband met them and walked them through the house and was so delighted after the walk through, he called me immediately to let me know excited he was with their service. How many times has that happened...not many I assure you. We scheduled the work the upgrade. Bob sent his 2 man team of Victor Figueroa and his assistant Jimmy. We found Victor to be an absolute meticulous worker. We felt very at ease and were very confident that the work would be well worth the effort. Victor was so delightfully charming while maintaining a professional commitment to ensure we were completely satisfied. And I can tell you without a doubt, we are! So much so we scheduled additional work. They left little mess considering that they had to cut drywall, which is prefectly acceptable for this type of work. We higly recommend Beacon Electrical Services and especially Victor to anyone requiring electrical services!!!

The job was accomplished in 2 visits first an inspection of the site and then a second visit to accomplish the work. The company took care of all permits and utility requirements including the follow up inspection. The owner did the inspection and did a great job explaining the work to be accomplished and the technician who did the install was courteous and resourceful to work out a few unexpected complications. Overall, a great job and a good experience with the company and its personnel.

Technician Victor Figueroa kept me apprised of his arrival time throughout the day, he was very professional and courteous upon arrival, explained installation and options available and completed the service quickly.
