Steven and Miguel arrived on time. They were professional and provided a quality install. They adequetly layed tarps and covered furniture throughout. Additionally, they ensured the worksite was clean afterwards.

Steven called first and asked if he could arrive early to start the work. He went over the things we wanted to have done to make sure we knew what to expect. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the work. We are very happy with the services we received from Beacon and we will definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

I took advantage of Beacon's Angie's List offer for 2 hours of electrical labor to have receptacles installed in a hallway. Although the deal called for 2 technicians for an hour, only 1 technician came so I had him for 2 hours. This was not a problem because I think 2 technicians would have gotten in each others way for such a small job. The technician, Steven, called before he came and arrived right on time. He was professional in every way and did such a good job that I added work and had him install another receptacle in our foyer. I'm very pleased to find a dependable local electrical service.

They had a special for 2 hours of labor for $119. The gal I scheduled with was super nice and efficient. The electrician was right on time and gave me a heads up call when he was like 10 minutes away. We had a couple of somewhat tricky wiring things we needed troubleshooting on and he literally glanced out it, found the problem and solved it very quickly. Ended up replacing several outlets, installed a couple of gfci's in the kitchen, a switch and had him install a motion sensor switch. I had a laundry list of small things and he zipped right through them and with the extra time he then inspected the breaker box and tested all our outlets.

Steven Moore and Victor Figueroa arrived bright and early that morning. The main task was to replace my rusted electrical box and combine an auxilary box. Victor and SDteve were able to complete some preliminary before shutting off the main power. My wife and I went away for a few hours (mostly to stay warm, after all it was December) when Victor called to say the work was completed and everything was cleaned up. Victor walked me around, showing me what they had done, and went over the list of the full-house-inspection which was included in the special. I had a whole-house surge protector installed. It was recommended by Victor and I was amenable since we had a problem with lost power and a surge when it returned during the last hurricane. I wouold recommend the courteous, personable, and helpful workers, Steve and Victor, and Beacon to anyone.

To my knowledge, the installation was performed correctly. I have not experienced any problems with the fan and it activates as I expect. I haven't seen any leaks. The installation was timely and the only question raised was with regard to the fan size. I selected the base model. The only issue I'd have was the possible upsell.

Unforseen cost of removal charged at time of appointment. Not mentioned in installation coupon from my memory. Techs did offer free electrical inspection of house during appointment. Some trash from demolition left in yard. Techs friendly.

Victor and crew did a great job and cleaned up pretty well after themselves.

The work turned out fine. They were very friendly and professional.

I want to say the process was almost a comedy of errors, but it was really a pain in some ways. First, they lost our "reservation" for the day to do the work, but rescheduled it to work within out schedule. Next the guy who came to do the panel broke one of the lights in our basement and did a so-so job of cleaning up the glass (he did give us a little money off the bill, like $50). Then, when the inspector came, he failed the panel for "sloppiness," which ended up being 2 missing screws for the panel cover and a missing "cover" over the space where the breakers stick out (you could stick your finger into it and theoretically shock yourself). Anyway, the same guy came over and fixed it on a Saturday about a week after the failure, which he grumbled about. Then, this past week we were moving an outlet, so we went to turn off the breaker and found that a couple were mislabeled, granted I think he just skipped one and got mixed up from there, it was discouraging. I had spent about half a day working on labeling all the fuses before the guy got there, so that there was more detail, and then he proceeded to waste my work by just putting labels in like "lights and outlets" for about 4 of the breakers, so we had to go back through and figure out which ones were which. All he had to do was copy the sheet I gave him for labeling.

When we called for service, we were told that there was a technician nearby who could arrive in an hour. Steven arrived promptly, and was able to locate and fix the problem quickly. He showed us where the problem was, and was courteous and professional. He also recommended surge protectors for our circuit breaker panels. The price for the repair was consistent with the estimate that we were provided over the phone. We would definitely use this company again.

Initial contact was handled very professionally. The receptionist gave me best available date and time. She then assured me that I would receive a followup phone call a day before appointment to confirm visit. This was done exactly as she stated. Day of appointment, the Beacon technician (Jimmy) called me ten minutes before the appointment time to give me his ETA. Upon his arrival, he was very friendly and quickly began installing the ceiling fan. He and his assistant were efficient and did an excellent job in cleaning up the work area. I appreciated the electronic receipt that was sent to my email, after I inspected the work and was satisfied with the final product. My wife and I were very impressed and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Outstanding service.

It went great. They called to let is know they were on the way, arrived on time, and worked quickly and fairly quietly.

The work was perfect and I will use them in the future for all of my electrical needs.

Workman arrived at 8:00 a.m instead of 12:00 noon, no call letting me know, good thing I was home. Check plugs said there would be an additional charge per plug to ground plug to box in wall. So the 399.00 price I thought I was paying almost doubled. Almost canceled job, but had it done. Workman did a good job. Told owner he needed to chance wording in ad. Very misleading.

Bob Hanifen of Beacon was pleasant to work with, but we ended up not using Beacon Electric for several reasons. The primary reason was the generators he proposed (all Generacs) were either too large for the space available or underpowered for the load we needed. Related reasoning, however, was that we had to go through several iterations with him, and do much of our own analysis and homework to finally come to this conclusion. Bob did his best to first overcome an initial bad encounter dealing with one of his staff members, but then he never could overcome what appeared to be a series of miscommunications on our needs and his understanding of those needs. Frankly, if we had not checked and double-checked his proposal details, we may not have discovered the errors until too late. Lessons learned for us: read the entire proposal, ask questions, do independent research, and don't take anything for granted. Know your circuit needs and electrical loads. Know about fire and electrical codes. Get multiple bids, and know your criteria before making your decision.

Excellent experience. They came to house beforehand and did an evaluation of the work site. On day of panel replacement, they came on time and did the replacement. They were very efficient and completed the work as described during evaluation. We are delighted with the work and wished we had done this sooner.

My husband passed recently and so I had to complete the task that he had started to schedule. The original offer to me was deceiving the recessed lighting was a much older model and was not flush to the ceiling, not attractive. I purchased the model that was trully recessed and of course it cost more. I also had to purchase 2 additional lights to balance out the room and a dimmer switch. The next service was the inspection. I have to commend them for discovering a potentional serious problem. When the electrical box was removed he found 2 wires that were slowly burning. I am very grateful for that discovery!! He repaired it. Additionally I was told that I needed a whole house surge protector, and a new fire and carbon monoxide systems replaced. The next service area that I had wanted repaired was my outdoor pole light it had not worked in over a year, They had to dig about a 3 foot long trench to get to the wire to see the problem. It was discovered that there was no cover protecting the wire which caused the elements to damage the connection. I stopped them from repairing the light because of the price. I was quoted $700. I had another electrical service repair it for much less. My problem was I came home to find light pole fell over the next day after they had filled in the trench. They had been at my home for almost 7 hours so maybe they were just tired at that point but clearly it wasnt put back securely. No, I didn't notify them I had the other electrical service repair it Yes. they were on time, courteous and the 2 service people did work but I felt that it was a sales opportunity. The deal $399 other service cost me over $2000.

Beacon's technician was on time, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Though I originally wanted to purchase an attic fan as well, it turned out my home's structre wouldn't support it, and he let me know it wouldn't function well in the areas available. I was really pleased that we were able to identify and address sevral electrical issues which had caused inconvenience or months prior.

While there was a little bit of a problem getting the work scheduled initially, I found out later that was due to the illness of the owner. Once that issue was resolved, Beacon's team provided excellent, timely and professional service. They were very thorough in their work and I would definitely use them again for future needs.

The installer arrived at the expected time. Power needed to be run within the attic to install the fan, which he did for an additional cost. In addition, he said that our attic was too big for the basic fan that was part of the Angie's list deal that we had paid for and that we needed a more powerful fan, which was an additional $225. The work was done quickly and professionally. When finishing, the installer accidentally bumped and broke a smoke detector on the ceiling. He replaced it with one that he had in his truck, but it didn't fit the holder in the ceiling and he left it hanging by the wire. Overall we were satisfied with the work and happy to have a new attic fan.

I had two problems. I had to move the furniture myself, and some of the plugs were of a higher amp than expected, which resulted in some addition money. I was not aware of this until they came to the house to do the work.

I determined the project was too costly at this time. I was given a full refund without any debate. Yes, I would use Beacon for my electrical needs in the future.

They were great. You should ask for Victor, as he was the one who helped us. He came by and was very willing to work with us on the estimate. Since we decided to have so much done, he was able to be flexible on the price and threw in some lights for "free." He made good suggestions, but was not in the least pushy. Beacon's estimate was lower than comparable estimates we had. They arrived promptly on the day of construction (Victor also did the install, which made a big difference). They were here all day, and were very polite and tidy. We were actually working on a DIY project that day to install some shelving ourselves and they were nice enough to let us use some screws and other parts that we didn't have from their truck. By the end there was less mess than I would have thought, and they tried hard to leave as few holes in the drywall as possible. They even had an ipad that made it very easy to view and sign the final invoice. Overall great experience, and I would recommend Beacon.
