They did replace my 200 AMP panel with the new one as per the deal. There were also county permits that had to be purchased and obtained. They also installed a whole house surge protector and they installed a 15 AMP dedicated circuit. They then replaced all the receptacle outlets throughout the whole house. They did a fantastic job! Victor couldn't have been anymore pleasant. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. They were willing to answer all of my questions and finished the work in a timely manner. They were very hard working and incredibly friendly. I was satisfied with the work and I felt the price for this was acceptable. The big deal coupon was a great deal.

It turned out ok. They came out to look and nothing stands out. There was one technician. There were no issues. I didn’t have any extra work done.

Victor was very professional and on time. He answered all my questions prior to his visit over the phone and then came and did his work. He showed me exactly where he was going to place the lights and what the lights looked like. He took care to cover up my furniture and cleaned up any dust he left behind. He was also very good and took extra precautions around my two toddlers that were very curious about what he was doing. I would definitely hire him again.

They did a great job and completed the work very quickly for a decent price. my only negative is that they could have done a bit more in the way of their cleanup as they left materials in the basement and the backyard that I had to clean up later. That said I would definetly hire them again.

Carlos was great. They even brought the correct color and went out of they way to get it done among other crews working at the site. He looked at other potential jobs with a promise to get me a proposal.

They were very nice, explained everything but we didn't use them because it was going to be more complicated than I thought.

It went very nicely. He was very knowledgeable and there's nothing that I like the least. There was no original estimate because I just paid for their hours of work.

Job was don e well and provider was responsive to my wishes regarding switch location. I would only suggest that the provider needs to be more meticulous in the job clean-up phase.

It all went find and was done in one day. The only complaint that I would have is that some of the wiring in the attic could have been done a little more neatly.

The phone call was very brief but I had no issues. They informed me that I was out of their service area. They had someone call me after I called. I am getting a refund for the Big Deal.

However, I have not used their service yet. I believe that their price is fair - a little on the expensive side but I know that they will provide a good service based on my conversation with them.

Beacon was on time on both occasions. One to conduct the survey and the second date for the installation. The only thing that was not in their contract was the drywall patching. Jesse was very knowledgeable and efficient.

They did fine work, arrived on time, and did what they were supposed to. I was glad to get the panel upgraded and some of the wiring replaced, as it was obviously old and (we found out) had even been scorched at one point. They brought everything up to code and made it safe. The only issue is that they we were left with holes in our wall where they had been fixing the wiring; they're not equipped to fix any drywall that they have to tear up. I'm not "dinging" them for that since they're not carpenters, but just be aware that you'll have to fix the drywall.

The service turned out well. I was extremely happy with them.

Steve and Carlos were consummate professionals. The were personable, sharing Carlos's Portugal travel advice, and Steve's rodeo experience over lunch. When asked, they patiently explained the theory and code reasons for their work. The work was neat, the materials appeared to be high quality, and the left the house cleaner than it was before the arrived. We recommend these gentlemen and Beacon without reservation. PS. A friend in DC was quoted a $10,000 estimate from another company just to replace his breaker panel.

I used Beacon Electric in the past to install pot lights during our kitchen remodel. This repair involved wiring for our range hood. I find this company VERY reliable. They arrive when they are expected, they are very professional, they clean the area after their work is complete. I have only positive feedback on this company. The most recent appointment involved some rescheduling due to a large snowfall but they worked to keep me informed, and were very apologetic when it became obvious that we needed to reschedule the appointment. They really care about their customer service and satisfaction. They have become our go-to electrical service.

I was really impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of all the Beacon personnel. Since I wanted a generator that would be as trouble free as possible, the installation required several different steps. I contacted three generator installation companies to give me estimates. Beacon's estimation process is very thorough and very professional. It's also fun since they use IPads and can show you what they are planning to do while you are discussing the project. Their estimate came in at about the same amount as another company that I have used in the past and been very happy with. However, I chose Beacon because their technical solutions to some of the problems of retrofitting the generator into an existing house were more elegant. Because various permits and inspections were required, the whole process took about two months. The frequent snowstorms in the winter of 2013-2014 also delayed progress. However, whenever the Beacon personnel were working, they were polite, punctual and knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and were always happy to explain what was going on. They always cleaned up after the work thoroughly. Bob Hanifin, the owner, and all Victor, the crew chief for the work, are outstanding. Victor made some very helpful and well priced suggestions about minor electrical work that I could have done to improve the safety of my house. There was no pressure to have these jobs done, but since the suggestions made complete sense, and in a couple of cases were things are had already intended to have taken care of, we did most of them. I'm extremely pleased with the generator, the improvements to the house electrical system and with Beacon. I plan to use them for all my future electrical work.

Electrician was very courteous and helpful.

The estimator (who also did the work) spent a long time with us to define what we needed. He left his cell phone number in case we had additional questions. The work was completed promptly to our entire satisfaction. I would definitely use this company again. Professional, friendly and competent.

Bob was very prompt. He went through the entire house checking the panel and other areas of concern. I contracted for this service as my house was being sold and wanted to make sure that the electrical system was up to code. The report that came back was very complete including descriptions and photographs of the areas that needed some work.

It was okay, it wasn't the greatest. They took a while to get in touch with me. I had to do a lot of extra communications. My job didn't entail for them to do a lot so they were only here for a short period of time and they were not able to use it for anything else. It was good information and everything, but no real big work was done and I was not able to use the time that wasn't spent on further visit or anything like that or getting discount for something further or so. I think they knew what they were talking about. It took a long time for the guy to get back to me initially. Would I use them again? I probably would. The guy that came out was pretty good.
