This company was really accommodating. They tried really hard to work with my schedule. When Jesse arrived for the estimate, he was really friendly and provided new information that another company did not mention. Given that I already had a quote from this other company, Jesse told me that they have a price match guarantee. As a result, this lowered our cost. Although Jesse originally had mentioned that they were booked 2 weeks out, they were actually able to schedule the work the next week. Jesse came back out and did the work in about 4 hours. He cleaned everything up. We then sat down and went over the invoice. I have no complaints.

Was very punctual, and fixed my attic fan. In addition, he did a check of my circuit box and power surge protector.

I’ve used them several times and they’re always very good. We’ve not had any issues with the work. I’ll definitely call them again.

Company followed up to the purchase of the Big Deal and I was able to schedule an appointment time of my choice. On that day, an electrician showed up at the scheduled time and we walked around my house where I showed him the several tasks that I wanted done in the 2 hour time frame. One task was to replace 2 outdoor light fixtures next to my garage. I had bought new ones and was ready to have them replaced but he was able to disconnect the photo sensor (one was bad, the other was good) so the the light fixtures would work again on a timer and save me the cost of the 2 new fixtures. A second task was replacing a hallway light fixture and the third was replacing a 2 plug wall outlet. The electrician did all the work to my satisfaction in the time period. He was friendly and didn't mind me watching him work so i could ask him questions. I got a verbal quote on two other projects that I am considering and would call on this company again and ask for the same electrician to do more work.

For $119.00 all we received was an estimate and professional advice for the installation of 8 battery back up smoke detectors and installation of a ceiling light with fan in the living room. Too much spent for no actual work performed. I feel some money should be returned back to us. Cleveland and Sheila Woods, Herndon, Va.

Electrician called to inform me of approximate time of arrival. Arrived right on time! Spent the first few minutes assessing situation with phone outlet. Offered several options and provided an evaluation of each - a kind of cost vs benefit discussion. I decided upon one course of action - and he promptly began to install the new phone outlet. When this was complete, the outlet was tested where I could hear the dial tone! The next task was to evaluate an outside outlet. This was a defective GFI outlet - promptly replaced and the outlet cover was also caulked around the seam! What a professional electrician! All my questions were happily answered and the work area was cleaned up too! I would highly recommend this company for any electrical needs!

Overall it went well and we'd use them again. We had them replace our electrical panel and hang a light. I'd give them a B+ overall because of the way the wires were ran in the attic, which was a little sloppy. They were extremely punctual, though.

The service turned out well. The technician was very friendly and capable of the work. They were thorough and willing to walk through the process with me. They gave options and advice on those options.

I was very happy with the job that was done. The electrician showed up on time and was very professional. He was able to install a new outlet without needing any patching to the wall. The only thing I was not happy with was that I paid $119 for two hours of electrical labor (an Angies List deal), but even though time would have allowed, putting in the new outlet was not covered by the deal because I was told it was considered trouble shooting which is not included in the deal. I would think that the two hours would include any electrical work and then I would expect to pay at the standard rate for any time exceeding the two hours. However, all three items were finished within the two hours but I had to pay $115 extra to have the outlet installed.

From initial contact with Beacon Electrical until Victor Figueroa finished the job it was an overall superb experience. Victor is very knowledgeable in all phases of electrical issues. He answered all questions didn't push any additional expenses and told me what was right and wasn't right with the electrical system in the house. A true professional and a gentlemen that represents his business admirably. I will definitely use Beacon Electrical again and in fact I've already made another appointment for further work. It went very well. They sent out (2) electricians because we were getting them to change out (5) large hanging lights. They did a very good job in short order. It took a little more time than the Deal included but it was worth the extra cost.

Technician was timely & professional. He had a few recommendations to bring wiring up to code.

The Provider was good. There was a problem after they installed the panel and they came back and fixed it. I would recommend the provider as they are personable and they follow-up on the job... i cant really speak about the job itself as i am not an electrician, and, they seem responsible as everything is working now. If I as to grade them then I would grade Beacon Electricals as a B+

The Electrician showed up a little early but didn't have any issues waiting the 10 minutes till I got home. We initially got him to check out a light fixture that started on fire and replace it which he did quickly. He checked to make sure there wasn't any damage that would cause a safety issue in the future. He then installed a ceiling fan and switch, fixed a three way switch which had not been done correctly after a kitchen remodel (before we rented the house), and even did some light work in the basement. He got a ton done in the time. It would've cost us more just to have someone come out and check and replace the light fixture so it was a great deal. I had everything ready/staged which really helped him get everything done so fast. If you need to spend 10 minutes looking for a bulb it eats into your time.

I like Beacon a lot. These guys are good and they know what they're doing. The first guy to come out saw a few glitches that he couldn't resolve, so it had to be rescheduled with the right equipment for a week and a half later. And the gentle 'upsell' cost me more money but it was explained well and it made sense, so I went with it. Steve did the work, and it passed inspection, so all in all. good job all around.

In short, the service went very very well. Extremely professional and courteous. Knew exactly what they were talking about. At no point did I feel like I needed to watch over the guys to make sure they were doing what I asked them to do. All the electrical is now safe and neatly organized. I finally feel like I can touch my panel box without having to turn off power to the entire house.

I had to go in and rewire a couple of sockets so the light switch on the wall would now work for controlling the socket we normally had a light plugged into.

They were very punctual, easy to schedule. Walkthrough and inspection were about an hour and included closet and attic lighting. I received an eight page report with check off items for each room. I also received two estimates for problems identified through the inspection. There was no high pressure sales pitch to schedule that day.

They did replace my 200 AMP panel with the new one as per the deal. There were also county permits that had to be purchased and obtained. They also installed a whole house surge protector and they installed a 15 AMP dedicated circuit. They then replaced all the receptacle outlets throughout the whole house. They did a fantastic job! Victor couldn't have been anymore pleasant. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. They were willing to answer all of my questions and finished the work in a timely manner. They were very hard working and incredibly friendly. I was satisfied with the work and I felt the price for this was acceptable. The big deal coupon was a great deal.

I called Victor and he told me he was sure there was no worry about an electrical fire, but he told me if I was really uncomfortable, I could turn off the breaker. He then set an appointment to come out. He warned me it would be on an emergency call and was very accommodating to tell me the cost upfront and gave me options to correct the problem in cheaper ways. He did come out and look at everything. Within 45 minutes, he identified the problem and fixed it. It cost me the hour service charge, but that’s it! We found there was a loose connection between the fan and the rest of the house. I was so glad this was fixed. The fact they were able to accommodate the concern that I had and work with me was over and above just doing the repair.
