Atlantic Duct Cleaning

when I called the company, I spoke to a lady by the name of Tanya. She was terrific. She provided me with all the details and specifics of the company. She fully explained how the cleaning would be handled. She left me with no questions to be asked. On Feb.3, 2014, Alfonso, (Tech.) and Carlos, (Helper) arrived right on time. They pointed out that, when the registers were removed, there was no sealant by the cut out sheet rock. They said they would handle it. We asked, what was the charge. They replied, no charge. The two men were courteous, pleasant, knew what they were doing and simply did a great job. Any questions that we had were answered promptly and with out a question. BOTTOM LINE - WE WOULD RECOMMEND THE COMPANY. ALSO, TANYA, ALFONSO & CARLOS REPRESENT THE COMPANY VERY WELL.

Went well. Handled professionally. They gave me a senior citizen discount, however, in general I think that this type of service in overpriced with all contractors considering the amt of work that is actually done.

Very knowledgeable and professional on site, provided updates as to what was being done and recommendation for future work.

Everything seemed very professional and they cleaned up better than I expected. They were very respectful that I had dogs and made sure the patio gate was closed. And the amount of dust I now have is dramatically reduced.

Atlantic service technicians arrived at the scheduled time of appointment. Working in a small space, they had to remove the laundry room door and maneuver around a utility sink and washer. They accomplished their task in short order, effectively clearing the dryer vent from the dryer to the exterior exhaust opening. We found them to be thorough and they did an excellent job of ensuring the room was left clean and in good order.

I found them wonderful to deal with as well as very honest. I had black stuff that looked like mold in my ducts and some sort of bacterial growth somewhere inside the humidifer. They cleaned and sanitized the humidifier area and they cleaned and sanitized all my ducts. They also cleaned the dryer vent duct. I saw for myself that the ducts looked completely clean. They did a really good job. I had hard to find duct covers in unusual sizesbecause my home is old, they were able to locate the covers and bring to my home. A lot of other companies were not willing to do this for me. The duct covers were caulked on to the walls and they did a very careful and accurate job cutting around them to remove the covers. They also touched up with my paint in the very few areas that showed. I would defnitely use them again.

After I was scammed by another company (My Air Duct Pro aka All States Air Duct Pro aka Our Tiny Duct City LLC), Atlantic not only provided me with the proof I needed to expose the scammers, but they came back and actually cleaned the ducts.

The service performed was excellent. There was no attempt to offer additional services at extra cost. Even though we had an Angie's coupon for dryer vent cleaning at a reduced price, they performed the cleaning as part of the overall job with no extra cost. .On the minus side - we were never called in response to booking the service on Angies List, and when we called, they had no record of the purchase. Atlantic was quick to confirm that they would honor the agreement and an appt was scheduled w/i a few days. The team arrived promptly, explained what they were going to do and how long it would take. When finished, they gave a very complete analysis of the results and provided recommendations for when the next service should be performed. They cleaned up very well and were especially careful not to let our cats out whenever they entered or exited. Would definitely use them again. Since this was the 1st time we "contracted" thru AL, I don't know whether the failure to respond and their lack of records for the contract is normal.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it went fine. They seemed very competent, knowledgeable, they showed up on time, and they did the work.

I recently had Atlantic Duct clean my air ducts and dryer vent and aeroseal my ductwork. As near as I can tell, the work was done adequately. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them and will not use them again. I originally picked them to do this work as they are part of Dominion Virginia Power?s ?preferred? contractor network. Dominion offers a $125 rebate if you have your ductwork sealed by one of their ?preferred? contractors. I verified this with Atlantic Duct and scheduled the work. To get the rebate, the contractor must fill out a form after the work is complete. The technician said that he could not fill out the required form and that only his supervisor could. I took the form to Atlantic and asked that they fill it out and either call me to pick it up or send it on to the Dominion rebate program address. Four days later (Friday) I called to check whether the form had been completed and was told someone would call me back. No one called. I called again the following Tuesday and was told someone would call me back within 15 minutes. It is now late Wednesday and once again there was no call. I will be lodging a complaint with the Dominion rebate program, but Atlantic?s apparent refusal to forward the paperwork, or even to return phone calls after the sale is terrible customer support and has cost me $125. UPDATE -- the day after this review appeared, Mr. Tom Keys, owner of Atlantic Duct called me to apologize for the problem. He tells me that he has ensured the rebate form has now been submitted and has reviewed response procedures with his office staff. I applaud his prompt attention and action.

Provider showed up during the time promised. The work took two hours, but it was done in a very thorough manner. Heating/AC ducts looked a lot cleaner, and the dryer duct, which had caused my dryer to stop working, was clean enough so the dryer repairman, who came the next day, was able to repair the machine and get it working (it continues to work well almost a month later).

They were great. I have used them twice now, and I referred them to a friend.

On time, professional, did a great job. We are renters so I don't know if this had even been done before. Very happy with the service. Will use them again to get my dryer vents cleaned every year.

The 2 workers were on time and very polite. They were incredibly thorough in their cleaning and respectful of my home.

It went smoothly and they showed us the rust and dirt that came out of the vents. Overall, it went well, and we were glad to have the ducts cleaned up a bit. But about 6 months later, during a humid day with the AC on, we had a big puddle in the basement because the water drain on the heat exchanger was blocked up with rusty chunks of metal from the cleaning. Luckly, nothing but a few cardboard boxes were damaged. So be ware; cleaning ducts means that junk ends up where you don't expect it and they probably won't clean it thoroughly enough to get it all.

Showed up on time, sucked out a lot of lint. Well done, would use again.

The house hadn't had its air ducts cleaned in more than 10 years. They did a great job, and cleaned up everything completely afterwards. Very happy with the service.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were fabulous. They were very thorough. You can definitely tell the difference when they were there to before. They were very professional and a great group of guys.

Arrived on time, went right to work, did the job in less than an hour and 1/2. Very professional crew, friendly and answered all questions before they started. Went out of their way to make sure they got permission to move through out the house. Replaced all vent covers and cleaned up behind them.

I called to make an appointment for aur duct cleaning as a "repeat" customer since they had done this service for me at another property last year. When they found out I was an Angie's List member, they offered me the member rate without my having to ask. They were able to scheduel em quicklly, came on time and did not thorough, neat job pn all the air ducts. veryone I deaslt with was very professional.

We have never had our air ducts cleaned but with our pet dog shedding hair all year we knew it was time. We picked Atlantic Duct Cleaning after reading all the good reviews. Nelson and Andy arrived on time and took the time to explain the proccess which we really appreciated. They were very professional throughout the two hours. Before starting they layed floor coverings down, covered their shoes so not to bring dirt in from outside as they brought in their equipment. They had taking before and after pictures which were amazing to see and also showed us the dirt and debris the vacumed had accumlated once they finished. We were very pleased with the work Nelson and Andy did in cleaning all our vents and ducts. We would definitely recommend this company and would use them again!.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and they did a great job, it was good. They were professional, they did a good job, showed up on time, and were very efficient. They seemed a little pricey, but it was worth it.

I purchased the Big Deal offer of $345 for a single home for this service. I did spent more than that because the Big Deal did not include the vent cleaning and that was about another $99. They came out two weeks after I purchased the offer. They were actually early to arrive which worked out fine for me. It did take too long probably an hour and half to two hours and seem to be diligently working. They were not hanging around but they did not clean up very well after themselves. That probably be the one negative that I do remember. I was a little irritated when I went down to the basement later. It just did not seem like that they did not cleaned up after themselves very well. I expected a follow up from the company but they did not. Then I would have brought it to their notice but it was not a big enough deal for me to make the phone call to the company to say that.

Atlantic Duct Cleaning was very responsive - almost as soon as I bought the offer, someone contacted me to schedule a time for the service. The service (though I can't remember the exact day) was performed within a week of my purchasing the offer. A two man crew arrived to perform the work (can't remember if I was given a service window time or an exact time, but I think it was a service window and they arrived at the beginning of the window). They were very professional and immediately began their work. Work was performed within about an hour or two. I was able to see the dust and debris that came out of my vents - I was actually expecting to see a lot more .... but I guess the vents just weren't nearly as dusty as I worried they might be. Regardless, as we had had mice (!!!) in our vents last winter, I was glad to know this work was done. Our house is a dust generating machine in general (and two long haired pets doesn't help either)....but it has seemed less dusty since.
