They were very prompt and couteous in coming for the estimate, making sure I was getting something that would fit my needs. The installers were also prompt and courteous and completed the work in a timely manner without a hitch. I felt I was treated very well and given a very fair price. I would definitely use this company again. .

The owner advised me of the local requirement for a permit, and how I could save money by arranging for it myself. The owner appeared knowledgable of the various local ordinances of area jurisdictions, which indicated a thorough and professional approach to his business. I was able to get the permit using the information I was given. The materials were delivered in advance, and placed to suit my wishes on my property. The crew arrived with sufficent manpower, and quickly went to work taking down the old fence and disposing of the old wood. The new fence was then installed with an organized and hard working crew. When the work was completed, I was asked to inspect it and give my approval before the crew left. The property was cleared of any remaining scraps and materials used in the work. All of the old wood was taken away by a truck. When I later noticed dry concrete mix around the posts, it occured to me that I did not see any water used or concrete being mixed. A call to the office to inquire about this answered my concerns. The contract did stipulate that dry concrete would be used. I was unaware that this is an accepted practice for post foundations. The idea is to let ground water set the concrete as the post settles in the soil. I have been satisfied with the results. I would suggest that the owner make sure that prospective customers understand the use of dry concrete to avoid any confusion. My wife was a bit upset that some of her plants were trampled, but given the proximity to the work area, that was to be expected. Perhaps the crews should be advised that even the stuff that looks like weeds might be someone's treasured flowers, and to be careful not to step on them.

The estimator arrived at the time agreed to and was able to answer all of my questions. He then took all of the measurements and handed me the estimate about 45 minutes later. Although theirs was the least expensive estimate of the three I recieved, I chose them for their professionalism as well as the price. The day the work was done, the crew arrived early, worked continuously and were done by 1:30 in the afternoon. The fence looks great and the gate works flawlessly.

Very professional and responsive family-run business. We have a pool so they did the job in one day for safety purposes. It started raining mid-day and the men worked in the rain until the job was done (well into the night). We were very impressed with the whole process - from the initial estimate (good attention to detail) to the clean-up. Would highly recommend.

They are one of the two companies we are considering hiring based on both the estimate we got and the information we had on Angie’s List but we haven’t had any work done from them yet. They were prompt. They came out to give the estimate when they were supposed to. For the estimate portion of it, they are kind of reliable. One reason we haven’t started the work yet is probably to get from them the material they are going to use. We would want to use a more durable material instead of wood. We would use them again.

There were issues with the construction. The owner was extremely unhelpful with the issues and extremely combative about resolving them. In the end, I wouldn't speak with him. I only spoke to Jonathon, who seemed to be more professional. The fence that was built earlier, is already warping. It is unclear whether this is due to carpentry or the quality of the materials. It definitely will not last very long.

Working with Arlington Fence Company was just as easy as the other reviews on Angies List indicated. From the estimator to the installers, every one I met or talked to on the telephone as courteous and professional. When I had a question, they found the answer even if they did not know it immediatly. They worked with me to install a regular swinging gate on one side of my property, while an 8 foot removable s ection was installed on the other side in case I need to get a wider somthing in my back yard. As per my conversation with Arlington, the wood for the fence was delivered the day before the installation. Luckily I was home because I noticed that the fence style was incorrect and there did not seem to be enough concrete bags. I called them immediatly and within the day they sent someone out with the correct supplies and fencing. The following day the workers showed up around 08:30 and started working. I was not sure that they would be a ble to finish in a day because by about 14:30, they only had the fence posts installed. However by 17:00 all was finished! I was amazed and the quality of the work and materials was good. I would definatly refer anyone to Arlington Fence Co.

The company that placed our fence up did so very quickly and very professionally. The process started with the the estimate in which the estimator was very easy going and made the process quick and painless. The day of the install I was met with two very enthusiastic workers, bright and early and we confirmed the logistics and they got straight to work. In about three hours, I had a brand new fence and it looked great.

Arlington Fence was the lowest price of three bids by over $1000; all three were Angie's List highly rated firms, so I went with the one with the most reviews and highest overall scores. Speaking with the owner prior to the job, he answered all of my questions, outlined how the job was done, the source of their workers and lumber, and their overall approach to the job. While they usually do not get the required permits, expecting the homeowner to do that, he included the costs of getting the permits in the final price of the job. Materials were delivered the day prior to the job. There was a minor ordering glitch causing some of the wrong materials to be delivered; this was resolved the day of the job without any delay in the project. The guys showed up on time the morning of the job, were efficient with the demolition and removal of the existing fence, asked questions about how I wanted the fence in certain areas, and made recommendations for portions of the job that were unclear and required a decision on my part. Watching the guys work, they were professional the entire time, working quickly while ensuring quality effort from start to finish. They were actually quite impressive to watch. Once the job was completed, I did a walk-through with the foreman finding only one board that needed to be replaced because of a number of scars and peeling of the wood layers. They quickly replaced the board and were on their way. All of the neighbors have commented on how beautiful the new fence looked. One small concern was their general lack of concern for the garden beds along the fence-line. They did carefully remove several lariopes planted directly along the old fence line so they could be replanted. However, most all of the other plants were trampled quite extensively and mature Leyland Cypresses along the fence line had numerous branches broken. I guess this is unavoidable with the location of the fence and the need to access the location during the job. The Leyland's will recover, but the ground level plantings will need to be redone. I now have a $1000+ landscaping repair job that I did not initially plan for. Overall I would say an excellent job for the services under contract. The fence is of very high quality, and is getting lots of positive comments from neighbors and passers-by. On the constructive feedback side, I would suggest that they include getting the permits as a part of each contract, and recommend that they take greater care of the existing landscaping.

I inquired about using the vendor's website. The response asked for more detail (length, number of gates, height of fence etc) which I provided. The estimate was specific and reasonable. When I'm ready to do the installation (late fall or early winter) I will contact Arlington again and will strongly consider using their service.

The wood was delivered a few days before work started. We were not told it was coming so if we had nt been home, I am not sure where they would have unloaded it. On the day of installation, they arrived on time and worked steadily throughout the day. The fence looks fine. The only problem was the double gate. We had expected that we could open one side by simply pressing on the latch and pullng open but the latch was on the right side and the that released the left side of the gate which you had to pull open with your other hand on the top of the gate.. We were not home when they finished (they did not finish until after 6:30 and we had dinner plans) so we did not see this until we got home. We called and asked them to fix it. It took several calls and a few weeks before they came out. They did apologize saying there had been some emergencies and weather issues. They told us that they could not do what we wanted. They put a handle on the other side of the gate but you still need two hands, one to press the latch and the other to pull the gate open. I think the problem stems from the gates being outswinging. WE gave up and will find and ereplace the harware ourselves. one side of the gate has a warped board so the gate edges do not completely line up.

Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Arlington Fence. The price was competitive and the work performed exceptional. There were a couple of issues that were encountered in the pre-planning stage, but they worked with me to get a satisfactory result. I would gladly call them for future projects.

They were teamed with another company who did decks. They were very good.

Very well overall. Jonathan Nunez was our contact person who provided the estimate. He stayed on top of the whole process from start to finish. The staff members of Arlington Fence were very pleasant to deal with. The fence installation by Jose and his crew started on time and went smoothly. The fence follows our surveyor's marks exactly. Jose explained several features of the fence to us, such as extra reinforcement. The fence looks great and we've received compliments on it from our neighbors.

Working with Arlington Fence on design options - excellent They are smart and easy to work with. Installer was late so I was not able to stay to see finished install. Workmanship was good but fence was too high since I Michael and people at Arlington fence were more than willing to come out and help adjust the fence. Great to work with, good work - highly recommended

We asked for a bid for approximately 150 feet of fence and 1300 square feet of deck. Arlington Fence was part of a team bidding on the fence portion or the project. They were very responsive and worked with us on what type of fence and the installation. We had to unavoidably delay the project several weeks, they were understanding and resubmitted their bid with no increases in price despite the delay. We did not choose that team because of the price of the deck.

It was a good price and we liked the estimator that came out. We decided to go with another company when we do the work because they seemed more knowledgeable. He was on time, very professional and very friendly. I had to call to get the estimate.

Their prices were really high and I called them back to say that they had probably the highest price except for one other company. It took them 4 days to get us an estimate but he was professional.

They were to come out May 12 to give me an estimate. They called and said they couldn't come out and rescheduled for yesterday, but then they called again and said they couldn't do it then either.

Arlington Fence was very professional from the start to the finish. The representatives would call back promptly, communicate honestly regarding the estimates, and were willing to work around my schedule. Even though my job was relatively small, they were never impatient to take time to discuss details. Their workers seemed experienced and got the job done quickly. After a year and a half the fence is not showing any issues. It definitely wasn't the cheapest job, but that was also a function of the quality materials and the high percentage of gate.

The work was excellent. They were spot on. They did such a great job.

We were happy with the estimate we received, and we chose them based on that, and the reports I read on Angie's List. After the estimate, they predicted they could do the work quicker than they actually could, so that was a little disappointing. But we were very happy with the work that they did. They could have cleaned up a little better, but other than that, the fence looks great.
