This company used to be reputable and could be trusted. Unfortunately, this business was sold about a year ago to an untrustworthy person who has offered me nothing but lies, half truths, and refuses to repair my vehicle. The shop received my car the end of August, 2023. Because there were multiple insurances involved, I was asked to pay for the full repairs up front. The cost was $8,159.57 and I was told the repair would take 2 weeks. Payment was made on September 19th, 2023. Here it is April 3, 2024 and it is still not complete. Talking to the owner receives only promises that are never fulfilled. I have retained an attorney to go after this shop. My advice to you is to run, not walk away from Classic 'Automotive. It is a shame that the new owner has no integrity and has ruined what used to be a great auto body shop.

The quality of the paint work was not the best. I had to return a couple of times and even then the paint had swirls and flaws. I knew that they do work for car dealers and later when I tried to sell my car, one of those dealers told me that they were surprised at the low quality of the paint job. Jim, the owner, was very nice about trying to redo it, but it wasn’t quite right and I just gave up trying to get the repairs done right. Maybe I’m just too picky but car dealers will notice.

These people do first rate work. When I got the car back the damage was entirely undetectable, the paint match was spot on. They called me during the job to tell me that their'd be a slight delay. One of the replacement parts specified by the insurance company was after market and of poor quality. After clearing with the insurance company they used an OEM replacement part. The young lady who schedules and coordinates the work is helpful and pleasant as is the owner.

Work was done on time and looks perfect. Buffed out minor paint transfers on doors without charge or request to do so- very appreciated and excellent customer service. Second time using Classic. They also repaired daughters 2014 Subaru rear quarter panel - runs in family. Estimate was higher than 2 others. Classic quoted double the time required and explained why and what needed to be done. I went with my gut since Jim took time to look over car, pointed out what needed to be done and why. Others seemed rushed and I had to ointment out how dent went on additional panels. Very happy with work and will use again if necessary.

The whole experience was excellent. Jim, the owner, and Eddie the lead mechanic are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to classic cars. I had recently purchased an old car and they went through it and fixed all the items above in an efficient and professional manner. It is hard to find someone you trust with a classic but I have no problem recommending them and will use them in the future. Their body shop also repaired a Nissan I had and the work was perfect. I could not tell the car had been hit.
