The technician from Kolb was very professional and punctual. However the office did not call me before the technician arrived to let me know when he would be at my house. The technician was very knowledgeable. He provided the services I had requested. He was efficient with his time. He quickly fixed the outlets we had damaged from a burst pipe.

They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable and they cleaned up after doing the work.

The provider was supposed to contact me and never did.

It was unremarkable...it was just pretty ordinary thing. There's nothing special in what they did but the experience was fine.

Kolb completed the requested work without issue.

Front desk staff were a little confused in processing an Angie's list coupon. But once over that hurdle, services were very good.

what needed to be fixed was fixed but the electrician was rude, inappropriate and unprofessional. I also had to call several times to make sure I was on the schedule and to try and get an update on an estimated arrival time from a confused and unpleasant receptionist in the DC office. I wouldn't use them again or recommend them to others.

A very experienced professional came to do the installation, gave me some valuable advice for some extra protection, that I have followed thru.

The tech from Kolb electric installed a whole house surge suppresser in a wall in my basement. Unfortunately, he cut a hole way too big for the item and left me with a gaping hole in my wall. It took several phone calls and appointment to finally get this resolved by having the surge suppresser put directly into my electric panel. Then it took weeks and several phone calls for Kolb to send someone out to repair my wall.

Very well . Came on Saturday morning within stated time. Called before. Very courteous and professional. Expensive but it was on a weekend, and price was quoted in advance and no extras. Diagnosed and fixed problem.

Nothing. I scheduled an appointment for a quote. they were to come out on 9/20/13 @ 10 am. It is 1hr 20 minutes later and no call no show.

Electrician arrived early and the job was completed within a half hour - excellent! Because of his promptness and efficiency I was able to get to work earlier than scheduled.

It was not bad service. I referred them to someone else.

A Kolb technician opened the circuit-breaker door, tested 3-phase voltage output relative among them, and found out that one voltage is too low. He told me to contact Pepco for help. At my request, he called Pepco and made an appointment for Pepco personnel to come to my place. After that, I wrote a check for $296.00. This is a pre-set amount before Kolb dispatched a technician so I should not complain about this. But it seems to be unfair for fully charging that amount. Kolb should have charged me just for a technician's presence (~$100.00). Lessons learned: When you lose power partially or wholly, first contact your power provider (e.g., Pepco). Arrange fee, if possible, before a provider shows up (for example, if a technician does not do any work or could not solve the problem, the fee should be significantly reduced).

Everything was great. They were very responsive. They came out for a estimate right away. After that we scheduled work and Harrison was awesome. He understood all of our issues, suggested some other alternatives that we had not thought of as well. Some stuff was simple but we just don't feel comfortable doing electrical ourselves. We needed a few things added to switches. Also had him fix some switches and add dimmers. He assessed the problems with our outside lights. The biggest project was adding vanity lights in our bathroom. Everything was great and done pretty quick. We would recommend Kolb and would use them in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They did the job they were supposed to do. The price was a little high for what they did. Once I saw what they did, I wish I wouldn't have bought the deal because I could have probably done it on my own. The quality was fine.

It went fine. The installation was very quick, the guy was fine and the price was very good. It was a really good value.

The technician Javiar, was actually early. He assessed the needs, completed the work and cleaned up after. The technician was very professional and extremely polite.

It turned out really well. They were excellent and did a really great job. I would use them again.

They came right away, got the job done, and left. The guy they sent out was really knowledgeable and was at the top of his game. I was glad that my Big Deal purchase was completed quickly and was not dragged out too long!

I submitted a description of the job on-line and requested a specific date. The next day I received a call that someone would be out on the date requested and was offered a choice of 8-12 or 12-4. On the day of the appointment, Ryan arrived early within the requested afternoon window, and worked very efficiently and neatly. After he installed the bracket box, he verified that current was flowing through the wires and that the light fixture was not defective, but the bulbs would not light when the fixture was installed. After checking the switch also, he assessed that the problem was that the neutral was lost every time a load was put on the switch. He offered to go into the attic to look for a junction box that might be the source of the problem. However, given the extreme heat that day, for his sake I chose to re-schedule that work on a cooler and less humid day.

Scheduling the installation of the Whole House Surge Protection purchased on the coupon was extremely easy. Kolb was flexible to work with my schedule on a day that worked best for me. Jose showed up on time as scheduled. He was very professional and friendly. He installed the surge protector and identified the cause of my outside pole not working (previous owners had bypassed the sensor). He fixed that and tested to ensure it was functioning. I will definitely use Kolb Electric for any future needs and would definitely recommend them to others!

Great. They honored there deal even though it took 2 hours to install the surge protector. Only other cost was a new breaker for device which they said might be needed if there was not a breaker in the panel. Charged me only the hour to convert the other outlet. Guy came a few minutes early, was vey pleasant and professional . I was very pleased with everything.
