Sometimes the best test of character is when something goes wrong. I had read many glowing reviews of this auto body company before choosing them. When I dropped off the car, the owner was kind enough to give me a ride to my destination to save me the cost of a taxi since he was going in my direction. The service overall continued to be very professional despite some unfortunate circumstances. I informed Barry, the service coordinator, that I was paying out of pocket with money I had saved over some time and that I would appreciate a call if he intended to do anything on my car that was not listed in the estimate. Barry was very upfront about the possibility in collision repairs that he might encounter additional damage inside the vehicle in the process of repairing it. He kept his word. When he discovered the damages to the connector between my door and the body of the car he called right away and told me about the problem, offering that if I could order the part from the same source I bought the door from I might save some money. I do not have an alternate mode of transportation so being without a car for a long time was costly and/or inconvenient. I was without my car for a week longer than I had expected. But again, the damage that was uncovered was not on the surface of the car so there is no way they would have known.

I shopped around reading reviews and can tell you my experience with Southern Autobody exceeded my expectations. From the beginning i got the sense that Scott actually cared about my concerns. Through out the process they keep me well informed via text message and finished the job ahead of schedule. Beautiful job and outstanding customer service.

Andrea who works in the front office did everything she could to save me money on the repairs and the result was I came out spending over $500 less then what Geico paid me. Car was there about 3 weeks but that was only because they had some delays obtaining all the necessary parts which wasn't their fault. Also did me a favor by glueng down the door/window control panel on the driver's side that had nothing to do with the accident without charging me extra.

If you ever need an auto body shop you can't do better then this. I hope I never get into another accident but if I do I would definitely use them again.

This is the fourth time we have used Southern on a previous pickup and current minivan. The most recent two times started last week when we brought it in to have the back (lift-gate and other damage) repaired after it was struck whilt a service tech at a dealership was test driving it after engine repairs. We brought in the estimate from the other driver's insurance company which Southern would honor. While they were doing these repairs they agreed to also do our repair. During this repair they coordinated other discovered damage with the insurance company. Upon picking up the repairs on Friday we saw that they did not do our repair. They agreed to get it in immediately get it in on Monday and provide a rental at their expense. The repair was done and we are completely satisfied with Olaf (who assured us that they would take care of us), Andrea (who interfaced with us during this 1.5 weeks), and Teri at the front desk.

Very pleased with the quote we were given after getting a second opinion. Business was very professional and honest. Would definitely recommend to others.

Brought my brand new vehicle in after I was rear ended. Car bumper was badly damaged and needed to be replaced. Southern's rep was very professional, friendly and understood my concern about wanting my new car to look new again. Payment was being made by the other guy's insurance and Southern fully understood the process and assured me they would contact the insurance company directly if the original estimate was not going to cover the repair. Southern even called the car rental company to have me picked up to get my loaner. The repair was done in 3 days and looks great. All new original manufacturer parts were used.

Their work was phenomenal. I have been to many body shops for my own cars but I have never seen better paint work by any body shop. I would use this company again if needed.
