I selected KO-Am to install hardwood flooring and tile in my kitchen which amounted to roughly 760 sq ft of flooring work. The project manager, Mike, was friendly at first encounter, however, what came after was shocking. First, his measurement of the flooring was off grossly which meant I ended up ordering a lot more wood then I needed. When I asked him what happened, Mike said he made a mistake in thinking the kitchen was going to be hardwood as well. I let that pass; honest mistake even though his quote was accurate in describing the project. After acknowledging the error, I received a message from him stating he wants to charge me more for the tile due to the mistake he made. I was shocked. Thankfully, in a rough exchange he owned up to his mistake and moved on without changing his quote. Once the hardwood was installed, I asked Mike about the extra wood that was remaining and if he could leave it in my garage for future repairs. To my amazement, he stated the wood was his even though I bought the wood separately from another company. His explanation was that because he made a mistake on the sq ft measurement, the remaining wood was his and his intention was to return it to the manufacturer for a refund or to sell it. Again, tough exchange, however, he came realize his argument was very weak. Finally, once the work was complete a lot of damage had been done to my walls and ceiling. I sent Mike pictures and he agreed to fix it. The painter he sent did a terrible job (pictures available for those interested)! At this point I lost complete confidence in KO-Am and we decided to part ways. They left my house dirty and when I asked them to come clean up, the contractor asked me to provide him a broom with which he quickly swept one area and left. Bottom line: If you work with KO-AM and Mike is the project manager, you have to work through every detail with him before executing a contract. Moreover, a high level of oversight is required otherwise in a rush to get things done this contractor will surely damage your home and leave a mess.

Installed wood flooring on the main level and on the second floor of townhouse. Floors are so beautiful. There were a few issues but Will made the fixes quickly and I am happy overall.

We absolutely love our new hardwood floors (3 bedrooms.) Mike did an excellent job choosing the correct color to match our hallway. The crew did an exceptional job with the installation. I would HIGHLY recommend this company if your looking for perfection!

They were quick to come to my home for an estimate and was able to schedule install just a couple days after that. Great communication and customer service. Only downside was they weren't able to provide the carpet color/pattern I chose as it was damaged during pickup. However, they were quick to inform me and I was able to make a similar selection. Still looks amazing!

Mike and his father came and showed their expertise in evaluating our needs. We spoke with a number of contractors and they gave us thorough advice on the pitfalls of our job and were among the best in their explanation of their service. On price they won hands down. They got our job done in a single day with multiple staff working and the two imperfections we noticed were resolved within a day of calling them. They stood behind their guarantee. I will be using them on future jobs.
