It was great. They were wonderful.

The counter tops look amazing and look like new even though they are 4+ years old. We learned this type of counter top work is very precise and detail oriented: it really takes skill to match the colors and repair the chips.

Rose Restoration came out to fix things. First they worked on the scratched tiles and did work to buff the deep scratches out. They were very successful. They then told us that some of the "scratches" were actually cracks in the stone; therefore, they recommended that those tiles be replaced and not to bother trying to fix them. I appreciated the honestly and accuracy of the assessment. A year later our marble got damage from a cleaning product that "etched" the stone. I called Rose Restoration and they said they would have to repolish the entire floor to keep the finish consistent. I was obviously disappointed. But then the man on the phone recommended I try a product from m3 call Etch Remover; he even looked up the phone number where I could buy it, so I did. Sure enough, the $30 Etch Remover arrived and it took away the damage almost immediately. I really thank Rose Restoration for suggesting this much cheaper solution and being so honest.

OVERALL SERVICE EXPERIENCE: A for Excellent! So far my experience with this company has been good. They seem to take pride in their work. They are very professional and the work they did was what they said they would do, they were able to get the marble look like new. PRICES: The work was expensive but worth the expense. A - We had agreed on a lower price because they felt it would only take 7 hours for 1 worker. It turned out to be a two day job. The 1st day, they sent Mario, who is an expert in tile restoration. I believe I was told that he has worked for them for 20 years. The second day, Mario came back with another worker. The 1st day Mario worked from approx. 10 am to about 7pm. The second day they put in another 6 or 7 hours, amongst the 2 of them. I felt the price was fair for the amount of work they did. I plan on using them in the future for any tile restoration work I might need. PROFESSIONALISM (i.e. cleanliness and courtesy): Excellent they protected everything that needed to be protected and when they left, they cleaned everything up The contact person that I spoke to before, after and during the job was named Hunter, and if I am not mistaken, he is the owner's son. He gave me an estimate on the phone, but when it became evident that the job was going to require a lot more work, he gave me a new estimate. He gave me a "ceiling price" the absolute highest price, which I believe was $1,300. I agreed to this and this is what I paid. I pretty much have described the whole story. The job was bigger than expected. I was given a new price with the promise that it would look almost, like new. I was told that they were not allowed to use the term "as good as new", but it did turn out to look as good as new!

They are supposed to come out and finish one thing which they haven't finished yet. The workers were a little slow but they were really good and knew what they were doing. The project manager was really good. It's the forth marbling granite company that I have used to clean and polish the floor and I think they are probably the best company that is most diligent about everything. I took quotes and interviewed five different companies before selecting them. They not only clean marble, tile, granite, floors, walls and counter tops but they also know how to fix broken tiles and if the tiles look bad they know how to remove it. They know how to do repair restoration work and they really are the experts.

Workers in my home accidently set a bottle of vinegar on my marble bathroom vanity and removed the finish. Rose restoration provided a quote over the phone followed by one in writing for insurance purposes. Julio arrived on time and set to work immediately. He carefully covered my custom cabinets to prevent any damage from the restoration process. After a 4 hour effort my marble was totally restored to pristine condition. Rose restoration did an excellent job. .

They did an excellent job. The marble looks brand new, the granite is smoother, and the tub is great. They expertly removed all of the marble blemishes, even ones left from a previous mable refinisher. They protected surrounding surfaces and cleaned up completely. They were not cheap, but getting anyone to do this speciality work at any price is very difficult. They also filled in gaps in the marble. The color matching there could have been better. The workmen showed up on time and were very professional.

They were professional and they got back to me promptly. I didn't use them, but there was nothing unfavorable.

Every aspect was STUNNING, careful, accurate, as promised. Absolutely worth every penny. The entire house, including upstairs bedrooms is just beautiful. I had originally hired another company. A joke. This company came in and cleaned up all of their mess and left everything in absolutely perfect shape. Wish I had hired them first. Do not deal with Potomac Stone.

The job went fairly well - with just a few bumps that the company addressed with no hassle. The company sent me to pick out the tile for the front porch. There was a price increase due in about a week so I called and asked them to purchase the porch tile before that time. For some reason, they didn't make it in time, but then offered to and refunded me the difference in price because they hadn't purchased it before the increase. Both of the teams that worked on the tile on the front porch and the stone man who did the patio worked hard - and the job was completed promptly. They were very careful to keep the area clean and were respectful of the property. Several days after the patio had been completed, we had a rain and noticed that the water pooled over one of the flagstones. We called the company because we worried that in winter the water would freeze and cause the stone to crack - and they responded quickly. They sent their head stone mason to check it out and he concluded the slope of several of the stones was off so that the water wasn't draining properly. The company came out, removed several pieces of flagstone and reset them to correct the problem.

The technicians were 2 hours late. The sales rep did not give directions as I had given him. Job started late and had to go late into the evening which was an inconvenience. Grout work and vanity refinishing was good. The cleaning of the floor looked good in most areas and questionable in others. When the rep called the next day, I indicated my concerns and he said he would call the technician and get him back out to check the floors. Never received a call back or had anyone double check the quality of the work on the floors.

This company came highly recommended. They were very professional and have a high standard of excellence. They take great pride in their work. They seem to charge a reasonable rate for a very specialty job. I would have to pass on the recommendation.
