Went well. Satisfied with work.

I have to echo other comments on Angie's List that working with HB was trouble-free. Extensive upgrades and repairs were necessary after my townhouse was rented out for the past six years. Project manager Eric listened to what I wanted done, gave excellent guidance, and followed up with a detailed proposal and estimate. Throughout the entire project, Eric kept me informed of progress. He even helped me work with my two HOAs to get approval to replace windows and doors -- he even went in person to one HOA to correct my application (I used the wrong measurements for replacement windows). His assistance was vital in getting HOA approval. And, more importantly, the work itself was of very high quality -- all the work teams (painters, drywall, window/door) were very professional and made sure that all work meet my expectations. The scope of my home projects was small compared to other HB projects, but I felt like I was being treated as their most important customer! When everything was completed, Eric did a walk through to ensure I was completely satisfied -- he found some very small things that needed to be corrected that I didn't even notice and arranged to fix these very minor things (molding, paint). The professional integrity and high quality level of the work of this company is noteworthy -- it is obvious that this work ethic is part of this company's culture. I love my new windows and patio doors and my new powder room. I would have no problem with using HB again. In fact, I hope to upgrade my basement in the next two years and look forward to working with HB again. Thanks to HB, Eric, and the installation teams for improving my home!

The experience with them was great. They were professional and knowledgeable.

I was very impressed with them. They were very responsive, they were very customer focused, and they spent quality time talking to us discussing the projects and the options. They were very responsive about providing us with a quote.

They are on Angie's list. They did a good job. Overall, it was great. The price was fair. I checked with other people, and they were significantly more expensive for the same exact work. There was another guy, who was cheaper; but HB was in the middle of the road, and they could do it in my timeline. They were good. I had to come behind them, and fixed few stuffs.

Bob came over to do measurements, and then followed-up with a quote. He was very helpful and provided detailed explanations as to what needed to be done. The only reason he wasn't selected was that he came just a little higher on the price than the winning bidder. But the winning bidder has not yet as of today done the work, so I cannot tell you yet whether it was a good or bad decision to select them over Bob's company - time will show.

He is very nice and very professional, and he knows the business well. I would rate him highly. I have a contract for service, and I am going to be spending just over $8000.

The estimator, Erik, was punctual and the estimate was accurate. The work was done today and it was done and done well. They put down drop cloths and cleaned up fairly well when they were done. I am very happy with the work and I would recommend this company.

My primary criteria was getting the work started and finished quickly. I obtained three bids (including HB Services) from highly rated Angie's List painting contractors, to judge the bid prices. All three were within a few dollars of $4,000. Erik Major (HB Services) was the only one that could start immediately, and he promised completion in one week. He and his crew delivered as promised. The painting crew (3 or 4 painters, depending on the day) were very friendly, courteous, reliably prompt every day, and very accommodating, and they did excellent craftsmanship. The wall tile (kitchen countertop back-splash) installer did amazing work -- expert craftsmanship, nice straight lines, skillful cuts. Total 4 days painting crew, plus a final day of one painter touch-painting a few punch-list items. Tile installation and grouting took part of one day, then return briefly the next day to seal the grout. The crew was a nice bunch of guys with great skills, but what really made this project pleasant and easy for me was Erik Major. I have pretty high standards and expectations, and I can say without any reservation at all, that Erik is extremely easy to work with, and he gave me everything I asked for. Totally positive, cheerful and agreeable. I am certain that anyone who hires him will be very happy.

So far everything is going well. We're still in the planning stage. The owner is extremely helpful and pleasant to work with.

They were tailored to things I really don't need. I need more carpentry work done and they don't really specialize in that. Their price for the gutters and roofing was reasonable and they were very nice, but I decided to go somewhere else that fit my needs better.

Our house looks like a new house, it's amazing what a new door and shutters will do! As always, Harry met with us and talked with us about our needs for a new door and shutters. He thoroughly explained the types of doors available, and worked with our budget to find us the perfect door for our home. At the same time he worked with us to outline a plan to update the outside of the house with new shutters and then later paint the trim and at some point maybe the siding. What I like about HB Services is that they are always honest and won't try to up sell you. They are straight shooters and very mindful of budget limitations. For us, Harry helped determine in what order to do things so we don't end up doing things twice. They've done other work on our home including the deck and lighting. I wouldn't use any other contractor!

They are very trustworthy and the quality is high. We are pleased with their services, which is why we used them repeatedly.

From start to finish, a very smooth process...Erik and the Installers did a great job.

Simply put? Harry/HB Services is great. Estimates and the bill at the conclusion on target - there are no surprises and if there were to be, he will discuss with you upfront - no surprises. Work is very good. As with any renovation, there are "hiccups" along the way, but Harry will stand beside you and work with you to make sure you are happy with the conclusion - not stand across from you and fight with you along the way. To me that is a HUGE difference between Harry/HB Services and so many others and why we continue to call him back for work on our home. Have some ideas on work you want done? Call Harry/HB Services - I think you'll be glad you did - I know we are.

They were great and very accommodating. It was good and the job turned out great. They were very professional and I would recommend them. They accommodated everything that we needed. They were not the cheapest but they were the most knowledgeable so that is why we went with them.

Harry and his staff are the best they show up on time and did a wonderful job. And the window look great.

Great job. Harry made recommendations I hadn't thought of before. He & employees were always on time, did a wonderful job & were incredibly clean. They were very careful about staying out of my way - even when I told them not to worry about me. I felt completely comfortable leaving my home while they were there. Price estimate was lower than I expected & invoice was exactly as estimated. HB Services came highly recommended & exceeded expectations. I've since referred them to a friend who was also extremely happy with their service.

They were the cleanest and best painters that we've ever had. They were right in the ballpark as far as their price.

The company was good. They were timely and came when they said they were going to come. They did the job and did a good job. We've used them before for other small items that they've also done well.

They were recommended to us by a friend. The guy knows his business. He understands the decking material and also the regulations and requirements of putting a deck. He communicated all of that to us so we had an understanding of all that we could do or could not do. He worked within our budget. He came up on ideas and designed the deck for us. We recommend the company to anyone who may want to use them.
