I received a call early on the morning of the service to let me know his estimated arrival. He arrived when he said he would and went right to work. He was professional and thorough. I was very pleased with the final result!

Their pricing was completely reasonable. It was much better than the other company that we didn't go with. They were very professional. They worked with us and they exceeded our expectations. They were very professional. Their crew was extremely nice. They did a fantastic job. We added on stuff and they incorporated it and they got it done in a timely manner.

Very up front with different things that I could do to keep the cost down. Decided to do the demo myself and take a hybrid approach to save money. A different contractor when told the price said that he wouldn't hesitate and that the price couldn't be beat. Mike Reed did all the work, prompt in the morning and made sure that all the details were up to par. Extremely polite and professional. Made sure that all structure work was completely up to code before leaving. Even hauled away some of my demo to help out! I wish I knew more people in need of deck work just so I could recommend this company. Love, Love, Love finished product!

Harry was difficult to get in touch with but the estimate was thorough & fair, the work done promptly, the workers polite & reliable, & high quality workmanship.

We were very impressed with Mr. Hink when he stopped by our home to prepare his estimate. He was on time, for the estimate visit, and projected a very professional attitude. He also had some good suggestions and we thought that we had found 'the one'. During his visit, we mentioned that we had already found the tile we wanted for our floors, but he told us that he usually purchased his tile from a different tile company. After his visit, I placed at least three phone calls, to him, asking when our estimate would be ready. We also made a special visit to the tile company that he had recommended. (We were not impressed by the tile company he had recommended. We found their selection to be very limited and were not able to find anything we liked there.) I left my last message for him, on 3/13/13. To date, we have not received an estimate. Because of this, I rated his 'Responsiveness' and 'Professionalism' as "C" ... balancing out his initial visit with the lack of future contact. I noticed that at least one former reviewer stated that he had been told that Mr. Hink did not have the time to do his job. I don't know if our job is the same issue (no time) but I would have appreciated Mr. Hink telling me that he did not have any more time available to schedule new work, when I called him for the estimate. We wasted at least a month waiting for the estimate, in good faith, because we didn't want to contact any more contractors, and waste their time, if HB Services was going to perform the work. (Not to mention the unnecessary trip to another tile store.)

Their estimate was the best of the three we obtained, and their professionalism was excellent. The crew arrived on time and worked steadily all day.

Received an estimate, no gable that size being sold (43 years old) came and measured for new vent to be custom made, installed new vent before anticipated time of delivery. Only complaint - did not call day before delivery. Fortunately I was home.

The remodeling went really well. One bathroom was done at a time so I was not at all inconvenienced. The bathrooms look great. Harry and his crew were great to work with. When it comes time to remodel the kitchen, I know who I am going to call...

We had damage to drywall and vinyl flooring due to a water leak in a wall and hired HB Services for the repair. We opted to replace the flooring with tile rather than vinyl and all their work was great. We actually hired HB Services to come back a couple weeks later to paint the majority of the interior of our home since they did such a great job with the other repairs. I highly recommend them. Harry is very responsive and the price was reasonable. We will be using their services again in the future.

Not well, I want to think they didn't want to do the job, hence the crazy price. I'd hate to be cynical and say they were actually hoping we paid that much for just a diagnostic peak under the siding.

Although we were not able to use this company to have the work completed, they were very responsive to reply to my email. And they were honest with the fact that they couldn't take on our job at this time. They also tried to help us find someone that could help. I was happy with their customer service.

Working with HBServices was a great experience. The door replacement was fairly straightforward as the new doors and trim had to match the existing doors (homeowner association requirement). For the half-bath, the quote provided the flexibility to purchase the vanity and floor tile through them, or acquire them from other sources for them to install. I spent a couple of weeks deciding on a vanity for the 35" space -- too narrow for a standard 36", but a standard 30" seemed to small. We discussed building a custom vanity, but ultimately I found a 34ish" vanity for the space -- measured twice -- a tight fit, but it looks great. The folks from HB were very patient with me, providing feedback as to what would/would not work, etc. HB Services performed the work per schedule - arriving when they said they would and completed the work on time.

These guys are top notch on the roofing and gutters they installed on my house. Everything from the initial consultation/pricing/products to their work crews are excellent. I personally enjoyed these guys because they selected only the best quality products and the crew doing the work clearly were experts in what they were doing. You can tell the guys doing the work pride themselves on giving you the best experience possible. They were kind, extremely hard working, and very fast. I look forward to using this company on many future projects. I recommend them to everyone.

HB Services were great to work with from start to finish. The workers were very professional and excellent to work with. Many changes were made wile the work was going on and they had the flexibility to adjust their work to match. I was kept informed through out the project of all work done and the project. The estimate was accurate and all the changes I made were priced correctly.I will be having my kitchen remodelled next year and will be calling HB Services. The work was first rate and now I have 2 incredibly beautiful bathrooms.I would 100% recommend HB Services to anyone looking to have any work done on their home. In fact, I already have - twice.

The inside work came out really great. But, they hired a contractor to do the masonry work; and that’s the only part of the job that we are not happy with. We complained about it a month ago, and they just fixed the problem last week. We recommend him for the work he did, but not for the work the contractor did.

Are you kidding me? What is up with the NOVA contracting community? This is not the first company that has done this. In fact, this is the third (and I will be rating the other two shortly). What's worse is when they show up, waste 1-2 hours of your time, and then never send you an estimate. At least this time they just never showed up. I am going with word of mouth. Angie's List worked great in Tampa Bay, but I am not having much luck here in NOVA. I guess the economy is just too good here that businesses could give two hoots about customer service and professionalism. I am seething. I received a CONFIRMATION email on 5/29/12 (at 4:42) from Mr. Major that CONFIRMED the time of my appointment, which was today at 12PM. It contained a link to a video where a gentleman ASSURED us that we wouldn't be disappointed. I wouldn't use this company if they paid ME. Just FYI, here's a copy of the email I received yesterday. Salesperson, measurer and installer were all fantastic! So so easy to work with! When I had a scheduling glitch they took care of it seamlessly!

Project started on time and ended ahead of schedule; all employees and subcontractors of HB Services were excellent. Our kitchen shows quality workmanship - they care.

The crew worked hard throughout the day to complete the job in one day. They were courteous and efficient. They hardly stopped during installation to say hello.

Both creus were on time & went right to work.Door crew cleaned up after themselves beautiful painting crew left a lot of dust and some spackle behind.

Well not good. Overall nothing was delivered on time and then some of the cabinet doors were dented. HBServices was difficult to return calls even in the estimate stage of the design. I guess that should have been a warning. Also my husband designed the kitchen and it was a very straightforward project. We were mislead with the cabinet options and pricing and then poor coordination between the granite installers and HBServices (which was the only subcontractor that was required). We specifically hired HBServices due to his reviews on Angies List however VERY disaapointed. We are wondering that despite his "no minimum" on kitchens we wonder if we were low priority due to overall price of our project. Also Harry is very difficult to contact and even his assistant is slow to return phone calls. His assistance also sat on our couch and conducted "business" while supposedly supervising the project. He also did not noitce dents and dings in the cabinetry while he was supervising. Overall very unporfessional and disaapointed with this company.

Danny was on time, worked efficiently and did a wonderful job. He was knowledgeable and explained everything well. The clean up was good.

The installation wen't well overall but some of the trim on the adjacent transom was dinged up and the window drapery was taken down and not reinstalled. It probably could've gone overlooked and would've wiht most contractors, however, the very next day someone was back out there to reinstall the window treatment, paint the trim, and buy additional window blinds (which was outside their scope of work). Gene, Erik, and his crew are in a class all by themselves and know that customer service is paramount in their way of doing business!

HB Service showed up on time reviewed all work to be done. Put down tarps to cover floors. Workers were very friendly, polite and courteous. I have always received this type of service from HBS! Job done on time.

Overall the service was excellent and any questions I had during the job were answered very thoroughly. As stated above, it was a job that involved replacing a badly damaged patio door that was ruined during the tropical storm Lee torrential downpour that dumped 7 inches of rain in our area in about four or five hours. The door wouldn't open after the flooding and the wood had rotted out from the water so the work involved a lot more than just replacing a patio door. The wood windowsills upstairs and the trim around them had also rotted over time and needed replacing along with the windows. My experience with this company was very ppositive from start to finish. The person who came to give the estimate was very professional and when I called him with several questions following the estimate appointment he called me back immediately and answered all my questions. The person in charge of the installation was very professional and clearly knew everything he needed to do to accomplish the work. He was very methodical and detailed in reconstructing the damaged frame around the door. His assistant was efficient and careful about cleaning up all the debris from the door and the upstairs windows. He also did a very good job with the upstairs window frames that were replaced. Overall it was a very positive experience. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing home improvement type work.
