I didn't really like the place, and so I wouldn't go back there. They gave me a hassle for taking a different car for the second half of the deal. I first took one car, and then I took another car, and so they gave me a hassle.

It went well! Very helpful people who work there, plus they provided me with what they advertised, with no "upsells" or anything else. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area!

Since purchasing the oil change coupon I have taken my 2001 Mazda to Fairfax Auto for all my maintenance. I have found them to be straightforward and honest in their recommendations for needed service, and fair in their pricing. With all the other auto maintenance providers I had used since moving to Virginia in 2004, I felt they were constantly adding unnecessary repairs into the list of needed repairs. I never got that impression from the folks at Fairfax auto. I also really appreciate that they help me budget and prioritize what repairs are acutely needed, and what things are chronic but can be delayed until my budget can support them. I feel respected when we discuss issues with my car, not dismissed as ignorant. They patiently answer my questions and help me understand what issues are happening so that I can decide how best to address them. I have recommended them to my daughter and co-workers--something I would never have done with any other auto maintenance shop I have patronized.

The building is clean. Rebecca is courteous, and helpful. I think this is a family run business, and her husband is one of the mechanics. I've always had the upkeep of my car done for a fair price, within a good time frame, and have never had to complain that something was wrong or a unexpected problem came up in a few days.

Oil change was provided and provider gave estimates for some recommended services which we chose not to get at this time. Price they gave seemed fair. We have used them for oil changes on several cars and all the interactions were positive.

I have had multiple oil changes here, and they are always very accommodating in scheduling appointments. They never try to upsell. They are straightforward about what work you may need to have done soon but they never pressure you. Such a wonderful find.

It was fine and good. The only problem for me is that I had to leave the car and so I had to get there and back and my husband doesn’t drive so I have to try to find someone for transportation and that was a hassle. They fixed my car right away and they fixed it when they said they would.

It was fine. I would recommend them to others for repair. The lady who runs the runs front desk is very personable.

I called in on 19th morning to schedule an appointment. They initially offered me 4pm appointment. I told them that I had a schedule conflict and asked them for 1-2 pm appointment. They were very understanding and scheduled my car for 1pm appointment. I arrived 5 min before the hour and they promptly took my car and completed service in 30 min. They offered suggestions for other fixes that would be needed in the future, but they did not push me to purchase any of them. Very professional.

I was very happy with their services. I waited for my oil change and it took about and hour, but there were very helpful in explaining what additional services my car needed without being pushy about getting it done. They told me what repairs could wait and I felt very comfortable with them overall.

I've used their service several times. Everything went smoothly. I tried to schedule an appointment for early on Monday but my request arrived too late on Friday to be confirmed. They accommodated me as quickly as possible. I received the service on Tuesday. This business is not open after 5:00 on Friday and on the weekend. I will submit appointment requests before Friday at noon from now on.

I had almost all required maintenance come due at once; breaks, tires, tie rods, and the timing chain. Additionally by break fluid was bad and the power steering system was leaking from a faulty o-ring. All was identified at the dealer during a routine oil change. I left the dealer and shopped around by price and reputation which brought me to Fairfax Auto Repair. Their prices were very competitive, they were patient with me as I wrestled with the massive list and provided expert opinion. In the end they completed all repairs on time.

I didn't get any appointment and was driving close by to their place, my front tires were making horrible sound and saw their sign. They were very nice and polite, did take a look at the car and gave me an estimate shortly. It was more than i was expecting but had no choice at this point. With in an hour they changed the brake pads and oil. Very happy with the car so far.

Very thorough, polite, knowledgeable, and respectful. After moving to the area, I was very thankful to find a mechanic that seems honest and who doesn't pressure us into completing unnecessary or expensive repairs. Highly recommended.

I arrived just before the store opened. Once the shop opened, I registered the car, showed the coupon...and they explained what they were going to do...and it was done very quickly. The staff was very professional and extremely accommodating. I would recommend them to all my friends and the readers of this post. Far above average and very responsive. Great use of the internet in the E-Commerce approach to marketing and scheduling.

They are not as close to me but the always do an excellent job and well worth the price. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great work and friendly staff. Went in for oil change and turned out my radiator was going bad as well. They showed me where the problem was and explained what could happen if it goes bad while in motion. I said yes to fixing it and was out that same day. Price seemed fair. Another customer in the waiting area mentioned to me to use Bidometer.com to get the best price but haven?t checked it out yet.

Great! Love, love, love this company. I have purchased extra oil change certificates and have my sons take their cars there. The safety inspection is an extra service they provide. My sons have older cars and I appreciate when they identify safety issues of their cars. Highly recommend this company. Will continue to use them.

They did not have a laundry list of items that needed attention; the service rep explained the things that might need attention in the future; I felt that they were very honest; after moving here a year ago, it have been difficult to find a good shop for basic maintenance and repair; although it is a little further from my home than desirable, it is well worth the trip; I highly recommend

Needed help on an overheating problem on my older vehicle. They were very prompt and knowledgeable. Even stayed late so I could drop the vehicle off. However, the quote they gave me was over $1,100. They were every thorough at finding problems with my vehicle; just had sticker shock at it. However, will use them again because they're honest and don't try to push the extra repairs.

I have a new Auto Service Repair Center for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee! I knew I had an oil leak because I saw the drip marks on my driveway. For 2 years my previous service station said there was no leak. They also did not let me know the brake pads were getting low, I had to find that out from another station when I took my car to be inspected. I just told Fairfax Auto Repair that I wanted an oil change to see what they would find. They found the oil leak and told me I needed new rear brakes. They passed my test! After this was done I called my old Dealer Service Center to see what it would have cost there. WOW, I am glad I did not pay that much! From the first phone call to checking out the staff was courteous, pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend Fairfax Auto Repair.

The oil change went well and it is well worth the price (because of big deal). It took longer than normal (about 50min). They came up with list of items for repair and when I requested for an estimate, they were very prompt to provide an estimate. Some of the items are more expensive than from a typical dealer.

The service was great. Cost was accurate per quote and work was done in expected time. They suggested additional work be completed; however, we couldn't afford to complete the work at that time. They didn't scare us into repairing it immediately, but simply suggested that we get the work done at next oil change service.
